A 3-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom cabin with space to sleep up to 12 guests, Splash 'N Sunrise Theatre is great for fun family vacations, special occasions, and weekends with friends. It's located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort, peacefully tucked away in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Boasting tons of space, king beds and bunk beds, a fully equipped kitchen, entertainment, mountain views, and lots of amenities, it's outfitted with all a group needs for a fantastic stay.

The star of the cabin is the private indoor pool, offering a place for kids to play and adults to relax. The room has a beautiful wood ceiling, seating, pool towels, windows lining one wall, and easy deck access. The theater room is perfect for movie nights, and the rec room has foosball, pool, and arcade games. Outside, toss burgers on the grill or soak away stresses in the hot tub.

Splash 'N Sunrise Theatre also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, a gas fireplace for cozy mountain nights, rocking chairs on the deck, a queen sleeper sofa, a washer/dryer, and 2 indoor jetted tubs for soothing baths.

First of all I rented this property based on number of bedrooms for my family. About a week after I paid I was notified that one of the bedrooms was closed off and one of the sofa beds were removed. This created a huge inconvenience for my family. I have requested a discount/partial refund for this inconvenience. I spoke with property management several times only to be told someone would contact me the same day. Well I have returned from this trip and to date no one has contacted me regarding. Second, the cabin could use a pest control extermination. There were lady bugs everywhere. Third, the nozzles on the sink that is in the bedroom connected to the bathroom on the first floor leak every time you turn them on. Fourth, there was no broom and dustpan available. We had to call the property manager to get them delivered to the cabin. Unless these issues are addressed I do not recommend this property as a rental to anyone and will never rent this property again.

Place was very nice

It was great. Pool heater could not be fixed, foosball and pool table needed some slight maintenance. And no one explained that guest was required to supply gas for grill before the trip. Overall, i would recommend this location for anyone to have fun.

Cabin was in disrepair

I don’t know where to start. Very disappointed with this cabin. I have a loooong list of things wrong with this cabin. Seemed as though it hasn’t had any general maintenance. Just to touch on a few of the bigger items: One bedroom had no lights at all Only one of the 4 bedrooms doors closed Only one of the 5 bathrooms doors closed Couch was broken, recliners didn’t work Hot tub was only half full and couldn’t use the jets Nails sticking out of trim None of the fireplaces worked The list goes on I would not recommend this to anyone. It was a terrible experience for our family on our Christmas trip.

Not clean and grill did not wor

The layout and size of the home was great. The pool and hot tub was enjoyable. However, there were a lot of spiderwebs and dust around all of the windows and the floor of the deck was sticky. The air conditioning unit on the top floor did not work. The ceiling leaked water on the middle floor. The property advertised a grill, but even after we replaced the propane tank the grill did not heat up and we were not able to use it as we had planned for the family dinners. The property advertised a pool table, but the pool table was not in good shape to play and the pool sticks were worn out without ends or chalk to play pool. The toilet by the pool did not work properly. If we could get some of our money back due to all these issues and the uncleanliness of the windows and deck that included having multiple spiderwebs, we may be likely to stay in the same property again.

MAKE THE BEST OF IT

When we arrived 15 min after our check in time it looked like they were in the middle of cleaning.. upon entering it looked like a disaster. It would’ve been good to be notified they were running behind so we wouldn’t have had to stand in the driveway for 45 min after a long drive. We didn’t get to use the grill because it was so nasty and even the brushes to clean it wasn’t fit to use. It rained and stormed the first night and no one slept because of the cabin leaking. We were up and down putting towels and bowls here and there. It blowed all in the kitchen windows onto the kitchen table and on our brand new karaoke machine. The windows were not sealed shut. You had to lock the door from inside everytime someone came in or out or else it would blow wide open. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. No one could connect to the internet except one person out of a large group. Tv would not connect to wifi. The cleaning crew carried out a new “box” for a fan that we assumed had been left for us to use..but when we went to turn it on it was covered in dust and the blades broke off and made it sound like it was gonna fly apart.. which it did basically on the inside. We had brought lots of popcorn looking forward to enjoying the theatre and the microwave didn’t work! We “contacted the host” the next morn (our first morn) about these issues and all they would say is “we’ll send maintenance”. Maintenance man finally came and he was super nice and tried to help all he could.. very patient and kind. I wish I had gotten his name. He did fix the internet but it didn’t last long.. he called for us a new fan and for the grill to be cleaned.. neither of those things ever happened after staying another full night. He did all he could but for the rest of the responsible parties…negative. Despite all of the issues we as a family had a great time. This was our first family vacation and we decided to MAKE THE BEST OF IT.

The cabin was great! The kids enjoyed theirselves to the fulliest!

The cabin was great! The kids enjoyed theirselves to the fulliest. From the indoor pool, to the jacuzzi, to the theater room! We did many attractions and came home tired to what we felt was gone for 3 days!

House was great but a cabinet was coming loose in the kitchen, so we moved the dishes out.

We did not know the pool people were coming and he feel down the steps and scared us.

Great location but needs maintenance.

The good: We had a great time in pigeon forge, and the property is pretty close. The kids loved the pool table, fuseball table, and the old school arcade game. The bathrooms were clean and the water was hot. Now the problems: The A/C wasn’t working when we got there and it was 83 degrees. The call center for the property was very frustrating, but when I finally got the actual property manager, he was responsive and the repair person came out and fixed the issue. The internet and cable was out. The property manager was going to have that fixed for us, but I waived that off so we could have a media free weekend. The pool heater was broken and the hot tub cover was broken. The seating in the theater room was broken as well. The reclining functions didn’t work, but the most dangerous part was that one of the chairs was broken and had an exposed metal piece. If someone sat down and leaned back, that could lead to a pretty good injury. So, we had a good time but we wouldn’t stay at this particular cabin again.

Great Cabin for Large Group

We had a full house of family and friends. I would have given 5 stars if the pool heater was functional and there weren't a number of wasp nests on the top balcony. Great views and comfortable space for entertaining.
