Quiet 2nd floor cozy condo with a peek-a-boo pool view from the front door. 2 minute walk to the white, sandy beach. All the modern comforts of home complete with fountain sound. Roomy master w/ oversized, fluffy Cal King bed & nice linens, huge walk-in closet and tub/shower. Second bedroom has one double & a twin for ample space and there’s a washer & dryer. The couch reclines at each end and has lighting speed USB’s! Kitchen is nicely equipped! Welcome to Runaway Bay #219! Our pool is back up and running and gorgeous as ever. Heated and the largest saltwater pool on the island.

Great stay

Melissa communicated with us multiple times she was quick at responses. Very nice and the condo was super cute had little notes where to go too.

Perfect Vacation Getaway

Location and accommodations exceeded our expectations. The property is perfectly located for easy pool and beach access. The property is updated and very clean. Property managers were very friendly and accessible. I highly recommend this location - we will return!

Beautiful beach condo, close to beach and pool.

We had a great time at this beautiful beach condo on AMI. The condo was beautiful, quiet and very clean and no issues during our stay. We enjoyed the back porch view of the fountain area and saw some native birds along the pond. The pool was easily seen from the front door and beach access is just a short walk. Perfect vacation!

Absolutely perfect!

We have zero complaints. The check in, communication & condo overall was amazing. The view of the pond out of the master bedroom & back balcony was incredible. And so close to the pool for the kids!

Amazing

The owners thought of everything to make us feel at home. Even had a Christmas tree. We just needed to bring our clothes. Great location, great amenities and the perfect host. We loved it so much we booked again for Christmas.

Cozy Beach Condo

We had a wonderful time here. Very cozy and close to the beach so very good name for the condo! It was lovely and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. Host were very kind and communicated when needed . We rented bikes and rode all over the island, walked the beaches, swam in the ocean and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend this condo and AMI

We had to return

Excellent experience. We stayed at this condo in November and had to return for the Christmas holiday. The owner has created a home away from home atmosphere and experience.

20th wedding anniversary

The property is very welcoming, well decorated, clean and was above our expectations. The location of the condo unit is directly across the street from the beach, very close to the condo pool and close to the public transportation system. We had a spectacular week of exploring the island, relaxing at the beautiful beaches, eating at magnificent restaurants, and watching amazing sunsets. We highly recommend the island and look forward to returning.

Really Nice Condo-Bradenton Beach

Upon entering this condo, you can sense the care/hard work that Melissa and her husband have put into making it a welcoming, special place. The fun coastal/ beach decor certainly suits its location! Beach access was easy (pedestrian crossing with signal) just off the property. We appreciated and enjoyed how clean and comfortable this condo was, not to mention the screened in veranda! Lots of added amenities, including “Welcome Wine” to enjoy a sunset or whatever. Should our travel plans take us to Anna Maria Island again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here!

Excellent beach property

This Runaway Bay condo was a perfect fit for our family beach vacation. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and that the pool was even closer. Pictures and the amenities were as described, I would say it had more to offer than we had anticipated. Extended family stayed in other units and ours was definitely the nicest. We had no issues that required contacting the owner but she was great to keep us informed and made it clear that if we did have concerns she was easy to reach. We would certainly consider or recommend this property in the future.

A vacation like no other

Our stay was incredible. Our family had not left our home since March 2020 due to Covid, so finding this condo was a huge blessing for us, like a hidden treasure! The condo was clean and so comfortable, it really had everything we needed to make this a great vacation. Cross the road and you reach the beautiful beach, or stay at the condo and enjoy the view of the pond (so relaxing!). Melissa was very attentive and really made sure we had a wonderful stay. Needless to say, we plan on making this our ongoing beach vacation stop going forward! I will add that we brought our 10 year old pup with us and she also loved the condo! :-)

Pro’s: Clean Cozy Good location Con’s: Smoky condo due to construction workers occupying condo directly below us doing renovation daily. Action supposedly taken by condo association but not much of an improvement as the smell lingered all week. Parking spot unusable as person with white Toyota Forerunner in adjacent left spot would always park up to the right parking line. Daily. Therefore not allowing my door to open . Same female coming out of Reno condo and owner of Toyota. I caught same person filming me on her phone. Turned phone at me as she was walking. Creepy. And 1/2 hr later saw Police circle around us as we were packing our car to check out. No offer made to us to leave the condo or refund or discount made due to poor smoky conditions by the owners. Person did park properly after the owner contacted her. I would not stay here again unless you like being watched and filmed by “Mrs. Cratchett” I did describe to the owner the lady who was “around” a lot. She said she had no idea who she was. We felt she was like condo association person possibly. Very uncomfortable feel at this condo. The owner was nice but it was not the best experience. .

Wonderful experience!

Melissa was a delight to work with throughout our stay. The unit was sparkling clean, and their was plenty of room for the three of us. Communication was prompt, and it was evident she really wanted us to enjoy her property.

What a great vacation!

We had a great time staying in this property. Unit was extremely clean and well stocked. We typically bring all of our beach stuff - chairs, cart, etc. - with us but they were not needed as the unit has more than enough in the storage closet. Unit was very close to the beach access, pool, and charcoal BBQ. Check-in and out processes were a breeze thanks to great communication with the property owner, Melissa. She was overly communicative and answered most questions before we had a chance to ask them. All in all, an extremely positive experience and highly recommend this unit. Thanks Melissa, we had a great time on AMI and will definitely be booking your unit next year!

Great experience!

My family of four stayed for the week. The listing was very accurate and super close to the beach. The condo was well stocked with needed essentials as well as beach items you might need. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The walk to the beach was right across the street and the ocean was gorgeous. Overall location was great for anywhere on the island you want to go. Everything was within a maximum 10 minute drive. We had a great time and appreciate the stay!
