All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Wonderful experience

This was a wonderful place to stay. Walks on the beach in the morning. Location was great. Close to everything we wanted to do. People were very nice.

Anniversary Trip

We celebrated our 20th anniversary and my wife’s 65th birthday while here for two weeks.Had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay very much.The view from our condo was a 10! Highly recommend.

Another Great Stay!

This is our second year staying in Sugar Beach at this condo. We love the central location, long sandy beach and sitting on the lanai watching the whales and sunsets! The bed is very comfortable and the condo has everything you could need including beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, etc. Will be back!

Amazing ocean front

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with the best view we could have imagined! Everything needed to stay a week or a month. Quiet resort away from the hustle and bustle of Kihei, but still close enough for a short drive to town.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay. This location was convenient to shopping, tours, and beaches. The view from the lanai was AMAZING! The unit was clean and well stocked. The "welcome gift" was so kind and thoughtful. Would highly recommend this unit!

We were a little shocked at the lower price of the room. When we got here the complex is amazing, the room was super clean and the view is to die for.

Beautiful ocean front view

Can't beat the location of this ocean front condo. The 180 degree ocean view and sunsets were fantastic!! The condo was well equipped but could do with some renovating, especially in the bathroom. Would rent this property again for the price. The resort is very nice with numerous amenities.

Condo was a bit run down with some things partially functional that had been "repaired" by prior guests so as to be unnoticeable.I had rented a nicer condo from them prior.

Comfortable week at Sugar Beach Resort

Nice, clean place to stay. Nothing fancy but right on beach. Unit was a little older than pictured but clean and comfy. Sliding glass door a little hard to open but minor item. Would recommend for 2-3 people but not more.

Pleasantly surprised

Cozy and comfortable and great view of the beach. Location is great and out of the path of the busy part of town but still in kihei They have everything you could possibly need including things you wouldn’t expect. Washer and dryer was very useful. The bed was surprisingly comfy and we slept great every night. Would highly recommend.

Would stay here again

I recommend this condo. The whole facility is really good. Comfortable and enjoyable. The condo has a great view and is very close to the pool which is nice. One thing of note. As soon as you get in turn the refrigerator down right away. It took a couple of days for this to cool to the temperature needed.

Sugar Beach Forever

Yes, this rental hit all the right spots. I’ve been coming to Maui for 13 years and this will be the first place. I am definitely coming back. My 15-year-old loved the quick easy access to the beach, and had a blast in pool, hot tub, and sauna. There were plenty of other kids for him to make friends with which was very refreshing. Diana sandwiches were phenomenal, and the best clam chowder I’ve had outside of my hometown in the Pacific Northwest. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Sunsets

We loved watching the sunsets and whales from the lanai and the beach here is miles long, great for walking. The condo was well stocked, but so well stocked that it was hard to find a place for our own food in the kitchen. I had to move dishes and glasses to do it. Same in the bedroom drawers and closet. Big washer and dryer and nice shower.

Great location and Unit - Sliding Door needs replacement

We loved this location and the premises. We would return to this unit again, if we knew that the sliding door has been replaced. It is warped and does not close. It is obvious it has been repaired many times, with screws pulled out and no longer able to put them in. We did contact Vacasa and they were very responsive. However, someone came to fix it, but glue on it since the screws no longer work, and left with even clamping it together for the glue to dry. It pulled off the first time we opened the door. The door has to be closed in order the AC to work. Every time we shut it we had to work on getting it shut far enough.

Good location - nice place

My stay here was "ok" - on check in day I arrived at 4:45pm unaware that management leaves at 5p. I'm glad I wasn't late as it would have been most confusing as to how to find the unit. However, they were friendly and told me how to get to the unit. My unit was ocean facing and had a great view. The pool are was nice and it was clean. The lounge chairs near the water could be replaced as they were well worn. As for my unit, the bathroom shower was not very clean, shower doors need a good scrubbing and the soap scum on the towel bar in the shower needed to be washed. Shower handle was broken. I did text Vacasa management and they were prompt and responsive. The A/C was not working well in the bedroom and it was very warm in there. The ceiling fan had one speed (slow) so management dropped off a fan for me to use. Be advised that the units furnishings are very dated, circa 1980. Clean but dated. Kitchen was well appointed but very dated. For the price being charged, the owner should consider a bit of updating. All that being said it worked fine for my needs.

As advertised

Please read all before passing judgement. Property is very true to listing. Like other reviews stated with the appliances (toaster did not work) small thing, rough sliding patio door. Smokers to the right of us, though stated as non smoking place. Two of the 3 pool access points did not work. Pool was not heated, but im a texan i was COLD (often) later in the evening so missed out on that amenity. Loved our stay would book again great beach (this one & 1 other beach on the island that i'd recommend) perfect location. I have ALOT of allergies (dust, mold, fragrance) and because of this i tend to notice poor filtration systems/dirty filters ect. Just KNOW when a place is not clean. I had ZERO issues. With linens, air filters, clean shower/drains. Seriously impressed with this place. A huge mahalo to the great cleaning staff.

Killer View

Always, when you look out, there's that magnificent view. We spent a lot of time on the lanai. The unit was clean and had enough supplies for 2-weeks. The decor and appliances are a bit dated. The refrigerator, at times, sounded like it was ready to breakdown, but didn't. All in all, it was still a great unit.
