Lovely unit

The unit was really well furnished. Had everything you would need. And the staff at Bacasa was great. Always very friendly and efficient. All in all a great vacation.

Great stay

When we booked there was really only one picture of the room so we were a little nervous but it was a PERFECT stay! It’s clean, spacious, and right on the beach! We were thrilled with it and it’s in a great central location to all the other parts of the island! We left the lanai open all the time we were there and could hear the waves crashing all evening! There’s even nice little bar/restaurant on property for late night eats and drinks! Would absolutely stay here again!!

Sugar Beach

If you have ever stayed at Sugar Beach you know all the units are the same. Just a small one bedroom with balcony. The difference is how the owner has maintained their unit. This place had a very comfortable bed. Great beach chairs. A fan over the bed for sleeping comfortable. The big issue we had was the carpet. I would compare it to a Frathouse. It is so overdue for replacement. Worn and stained so badly Also the bathroom fan was so loud. We had to choose to we wake up each other stink them out. Sounded like a helicopter was landing on the roof. The patio table glass top was broken but we never used it. Other people might have been upset.

Amazing Views

I’ve stayed at Sugar beach resort on three previous occasions and was excited to finally book a top floor unit. The view is amazing and it’s the best feature of this condo. The unit was clean and organized and the furniture and appliances were all in great condition. I liked the small office desk and the two T.V’s looked to be fairly new. I will say that I was a little disappointed that the bedroom wasn’t fitted with a king size bed. It seems I missed that part from the booking. All other units I’ve stayed in have all had king size beds so I must have thought that was standard. The actual bed appeared closer to a standard size mattress. I’d recommend the owner upgrade because I wouldn’t book this condo again for that reason. I’d also recommend that the bedroom door be painted. It’s the first door you see when entering the condo and it didn’t give a good first impression because it was chipped and dented. The condo was adequately stocked but was lacking in some of the other common household items some of the other condos provide like umbrellas, boogie boards, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toiletries, etc. I believe the standard set by the other three units I stayed at previously raised my expectations. There was a goodie bag that includes nuts, chips and candy. I thought that was a nice touch. No issues with the cooling unit. It worked great and cooled the space down fairly quickly. All in all, I’d give this unit a 7 out of 10.

Living in paradise!

Everything was perfect at the second that we arrive! The condo was even better than in the advertisement, it was clean, the view is so beautiful and it has all the amenities necessary for a confortable stay! The perfect place for a stay in Maui!

Amazing views

Property is exactly as pictured. Do not expect more. We were here for beaches & sun, not decor, so it was fine. The only complaint is the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced SO BAD- it is sticky & gross. That is seriously my only complaint- price & location are amazing. Aside from carpet, it was perfect for us to have breakfast & sleep. Just wear shoes. I took Pictures (yes there are large stains and even footprints) but cannot find where to post them. The ocean view & location are spectacular.

Wonderful Condo in a great location

I spent 5 nights at this condo and had a great time. The condo itself is a bit dated, but still very comfortable. Unit is located on the top floor and has a wonderful ocean view. The AC worked great the whole time, including the bedroom. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and the bed was comfortable! The building is located right on a sandy beach that was never crowded when I was there. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience

Ocean view, palms swaying right outside sixth story balcony, sound of ocean puts one to sleep. It was a really nice home and very well supplied. When we had a problem with the toilet it was fixed immediately! A basket of goodies upon arrival made us feel very welcome. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

The washer is about 1/2 size so this is really one batch. It said to only use that soap so greatly limited what we could do. Usually we wash towels before we leave a property But view, location, bed and shower were great!

Amazing view

The view from the lanai was amazing. The beach was perfect and never crowded. Location was great since it was in between everything. While the place was a little outdated, we didn’t care because we didn’t spend much time in it. Would definitely stay again!

Budget friendly Stay with amazing view

This place has so much potential. But it was very outdated for my taste. Just with a little fresh paint and a couple updates and this place would be perfect for the price. The location was excellent to explore Maui since it was right in the middle of the island and only 15 mins from the airport.

Million dollar view!!

This is my 2nd times staying in this unit PH26! Waking up to the sound of the 🌊 is priceless! Not to mention the gorgeous Ocean Front view simultaneously! However, a small issue where the aging A/C unit doesn’t blow cold air! It was hot inside especially the patio door was being closed at night It’s time for an upgrade! Other than that it was a great stayed in this unit! Will I be back next Summer? Absolutely 🤙🏼

Great view, yet needs work.

We loved the view and the location, yet the home was a little rough. Dirt left on light switches, a worn out bedroom carpet with marks on the walls, and never before dusted vents and furniture were just some things that could have been better. The home had adequate amenities- washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, and plenty of kitchen items. The patio looks out at a gorgeous view of the beach, and the resort overall is pretty nice and not too busy. We enjoyed our stay, but it would have been cozier if the home was kept in better shape.

Fantastic location and view. The beach stretched for miles and it was easy to social distance. The unit is not luxurious, which was fine for us as we spent most of our time outside. It was quiet at night and we slept well. During our stay we had to switch units because of a water problem. Communication on that was quick. At the two units we used the Lanais were in need of a cleaning, as a result we didn’t spend much time on them. We would be excited to come back again and stay at this location. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`
