Tara Cove Cottage

We’re committed to following cleanliness guidelines for our guests. We were dedicated to providing a clean experience before Covid 19 ( see past reviews over the years) and now have enhanced protocols. We are hands-on owners and inspect before our new guests arrive to ensure cleanliness.

Location, location, location! Imagine hearing the waves crashing and walking with your favorite beverage to sit and watch the waves roll in off the Marginal Way. Tucked around the corner on a private road but literally steps to Perkins Cove and The Marginal Way. Walk to the beach or jump on the trolley which is 75 steps away from your front door. This two-bedroom, two full-bath home has updated bathrooms, an updated kitchen, the furniture you want to curl up on, stainless steel appliances, a new front load washer & dryer, and more. Linens, towels, beach towels, 4 beach chairs with umbrella, air conditioning, dishwasher, and gas grill. Just buy the lobster down the street.

Perkin’s Cove very close we checked out the stores and had a bite at Jackie’s after our Driver told us about her background we didn’t see her counting her money it was a rainy morning we also strolled along the Marginal Way our first day after settling in the coast line is very rocky !! Strong suggestion it would be nice if you provided Body Wash,Shampoo, Kleenex and new towels more than one one wash cloth Bath tubs need safety strips to prevent slipping/falling Dianne

We had such a great time. Cottage was cozy and comfy. Got a bit of wildlife some turkeys and deer grazing through the yard. It was a lovely weekend!

Location, Location!Cute, clean, cozy cottage. Comfy bed/pillows. Quiet AND steps from a sidewalk leading to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, the Trolley stops, too! Breakfast at Cove Cafe was worth the wait! cute deck out back. Only suggestion: have shampoo/conditioner in showers. Its a hike to the town store.

Location, location, location

The host couldn’t have been nicer and very accommodating. Her cottage was adorable. It was fully equipped with whatever you might need for your vacation. Location was perfect! Very walkable to Marginal Way, Perkins Cove and many wonderful restaurants. Would indeed go back there another time. I definitely give it an excellent review.

Great location and quiet home

This house was in an ideal location, walking distance to everything you would want in town. I was also struck by how quiet the house was, nestled away from neighbors. It was really an ideal retreat and had everything we needed. Having beach, chairs, towels, and a beach cart was particularly helpful coming in from out of town.

Cozy little house

The home is quaint and exactly as described. It’s located right between Perkins cove and ogunquit. Both very walkable. We enjoyed shopping and eating at local haunts. Love the marginal way as well! Hosts were very accessible and helpful 😬

Wonderful Cottage

Excellent location and the home is spacious and well designed. The owner checked in on our first full day. We had deer and turkeys in the back yard that felt like a bonus!

Wonderful location in Ogunquit!

This property was perfect for our stay. Comfy beds and lounging area. We had great communication with our host. Bonus on our first night the northern lights put on quite a show for us!! Easy walking to shopping and great restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great Fall Trip in Ogunquit

Perfect cottage for two couples. Very clean and location is ideal. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops in downtown and Perkins Cove. Short walk to the Marginal Way. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Cute, clean, and comfortable

This is a great place to stay in Ogunquit. Everything was within walking distance and it was easy to get to. As mentioned in the title, it was very clean and comfortable. Definitely worth it!

Nice way to celebrate 50th birthday

We loved most things about this property. The only things we felt were missing was enough washcloths for 3 people for 3 days, bar soap for showers, either paper towels or napkins to use while eating there. Otherwise, it was great. We would definitely go back again. The location was awesome to walk to shops and restaurants.

Girls weekend in Ogunquit

Fantastic location for privacy and convenience

We enjoyed the location of this well appointed comfortable space. It is tucked away yet close to everything in just a short walk. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future. The host went above beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!

perfect location for Marginal Way and Perkins Cove

We loved this clean well kept up cottage with new appliances and just steps to Perkins Cove and the beautiful Marginal Way coast. It is even better than the pictures and the beds were confortable. The owner was very kind and responsive. Such a lovely find- a hidden gem of you are looking to stay in Agunquit. You can walk to shops and resturaunts and the water. An added bonus was excellent washer and dryer
