FROM JUNE 1st to OCTOBER 15 - this is a 7-day minimum Saturday to Saturday Rental ONLY, 4-night minimum otherwise - Enjoy the beauty and convenience of Surf City, LBI, NJ., one block from beach, shops, and restaurants. Fully updated ground floor cottage with expanded patio (front of house pictured FULLY PRIVATE PATIO) with plenty of room for grilling and lounging. All conveniences of your own home - perfect for families with young children as walks to the beach (2 minutes), coffee bar, playground, and returns are easy. Enjoy evening sunsets at the bay only 2 blocks away. Unit 2 is in the back upstairs of house with separate entrance and ONLY used by the owner at select times. All amenities are private (laundry room, showers, entrances etc.). Please be advised we do not provide sheets, pillow cases or bath towels. A pillow and comforter is provided for each bed

The home was better than the pics show. Perfect for our family 5 with young ones. The deck has so much character, along with the home. No other place on LBI has a deck as beautifully landscaped. Super close to the beach.

Excellent stay

The house was perfect , clean and awesome location. Property owners were very nice , 3 minute walk to the beach. We would love to stay again next year.

Summer 2024

The house was perfect, very clean and nicely decorated . Very convenient location. Had a wonderful stay and beautiful weather. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect size for our family of 5 and just a short block to the beach from the house. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, even down to puzzles and board games to play with the kids. The owners were very responsive and welcoming.

Surf City

Very clean and well maintained and a great house for a small group. It was only a block from the beach and close to several restaurants and there's a great coffee shop across the street. The owner's were very friendly and we enjoyed a great week in Surf City.

Awesomw LBI vacation spot

Great place to stay with small children. Very cozy and clean. Super close to beach and bay park. Very nice hosts that care about being hospitable and you can tell they put alot of work into providing a great vacation for their renters. We will be back for sure!

I wanted a quiet retreat at the beach where I could read my books, enjoy the beautiful weather, walk on the beach, catch the sunrise and the incredible bay sunsets and spend precious time with my adult kids. I found it all and more at this quaint, well appointed, updated beach shack! We had the best week!!

Shore To Book Again

Our family had a wonderful time in Surf City. The location was perfect for easy beach access. The home owner was very nice, we felt very welcome in his home. The home itself was even nicer in person, excellent space for the five of us, with an outdoor patio ideal for ending our days. We already discussed coming back as a family.

Surf City Cottage by the Sea

The outdoor living space included in this rental is a plus. We enjoyed all of our meals outside, then caught the sunset by the bay, returning to the cottage to enjoy the deck on the warm Summer evenings. Hope to return next year! We even had the pleasure of meeting our hosts, Bob and Joann.

Great place to stay

We loved the Tack Shack! Great place to stay with family. Our 2 young kids loved it. The location is perfect everyting is in walking distance super close to the beach, bay, yoga, coffee, shaved ice, restaurants, shops and pop up markets. The house has everything you could ever need and was super clean. The hosts were very nice and very accomodating. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend the Tack Shack!

Clean and central

Enjoyed a beautiful week for a friend who cherished the get-a-way in this home that was very clean and accommodating. A simple wheelchair ride to the beach, and the 1-floor living was ideal. The central location made meals easy, and the sunsets were priceless. Thank you!

Great stay at the Tack Shack!

We had a wonderful week at the Tack Shack! The how was extremely clean, the owners were very responsive any time we had a question, and the location was amazing. We took our son to the park almost every morning and it was a very easy walk to the beach! We loved being so close to local shop and restaurants! Perfect size for a small family and a week long stay! :)

Lovely Property & Prime Location

A clean, well appointed, lovingly cared for beach home with prime location. The beach is a block away and sunsets a short walk to the bay. Coffee shop, mini golf, restaurants, bike rentals, tennis, pickle ball, and ice cream all within walking distance. Large outside deck provides additional lounging and grilling space. Wonderful and attentive hosts. I highly recommend this property for your next stay on LBI. We are definitely returning.

Nice!

Nice location, one block to beach and two blocks+ to bay. Unit was well equipped. We stayed here in early May and of course it was a little chilly some days esp on the beach. The hot water baseboard heat had to be repaired which took a few days but worked well afterwards. Good communication with owner. Though next to a fairly busy road it was pretty quiet. How You Brewin coffe joint was very close. Walkable distance to restaurants. Nice big sunny front patio area perfect for morning coffee. The owners did a nice job in making this legacy home comfortable for renters.

Great old home feel right by the beach

Been coming to LBI for 40 years. This place has the charm of the old LBI that I remember growing up in with enough room for my family for two weeks. Nicely appointed inside for a rental and had a great patio space. (patio did need blowing off due to pine tree debris but there was a blower available to use by asking landlord). Good outdoor shower space as well. Just 1 block from the beach entrance and 3 blocks from where 3 other rentals worth of family were staying with lots easy to walk to, so the location was perfect for us. It sits behind a pool & spa company building that insulates some of the boulevard noise and generally it was a quiet place. Bob and Joanne are welcoming and friendly hosts who were around on the weekends staying upstairs with their dog. Bob was responsive to texts and checked in with us in person on the weekends. Would come again!

Fantastic location. Super house with a great patio!

Right across the street from How You Brewin’ Coffee, 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from gorgeous bay view sunsets. Very comfortable house with everything g we needed. Nice grill and fantastic patio for coffee, cocktails. We are all of our meals outside.

Great location, relaxing stay!

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay in Surf City. The house was the perfect size. Good kitchen set up, just what you need for a vacation. We had fun playing some of the board games provided, hanging out on the deck, grilling and the outdoor shower was a huge help with two sandy kids! Easy to walk to park on bay side and the beach one block east. Lots of family friendly restaurants near by.

Great property and location

We spend a week at this property in early/mid June. It was fully equipped, has a great location in the heart of Surf City, is close to the beach, and the front patio is great to lounge on. The owner (Robert) and his family have done a great job with this property. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect! Very clean, very well appointed, Location was great, lots within walking distance or short drive. Easy short walk to beach. Loved the patio space and outdoor shower. The trees n fencing provided lots of privacy. Plenty of space for four in our party with room to spare. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners..wonderful people! I highly recommend the property.

Hello - Welcome from Bob, Christine, Stephanie & JoAnn (as Pictured). After 40 years vacationing at the Jersey Shore, 25 years in Surf City, LBI (10 years exploring the island looking for the perfect property) - we chose our 'dream home at the beach'.

We fell in love with Surf City because of its easy on and off the Island access, family community living with private streets, easily & safely walking, riding a bike from beach to Bay (for all ages). Our home is only one block from the beach and a 2 minute walk to the bay, stroll to the islands best Coffee Bars, Restaurants, and Shops. Launch your boat, kayak, jet ski at bay just down the street. Younger children will love the well appointed playground one block away as adults enjoy the tennis and pickle ball courts.

Our home has been fully renovated for comfort and offers conveniences you enjoy in your own home. This duplex (ground floor/Unit 1) cottage has a 'great-room' main living space for convenient kitchen to living room socializing space. Step out the front 'sliding-glass' door to an expansive patio that easily seats 8 as friends and guests join you for lunch/dinner/drinks, grilling and a day at the beach. The home provides a private 'wash-room' with washer and dryer and private door leading to your outdoor shower.
Bedrooms are appointed with industry leading foam/hybrid beds so you wake rested and ready to enjoy beautiful LBI.
