Prime Manhattan Beach Location~Blocks to Beach~Panoramic View~WORLD CUP READY

Our second home is the perfect Southern California getaway in the idyllic beach town of Manhattan Beach. Just a few blocks to the beach, it is also walkable to the historic Manhattan Beach Pier as well as an assortment of amazing restaurants, bars and shops. Convenient to SoFi Stadium for the 2026 WORLD CUP!

This 3-story home features a great room on the top level with a beautiful kitchen, family room, powder room and balcony with ocean views from Palos Verdes to Malibu. The chefs kitchen includes Sub-Zero refrigerator, Viking stove, wine fridge along with ample counter and cabinet space. The upper deck is nicely furnished and has a barbecue.

The 2nd floor the master suite includes a California King bed, a large TV, a private bathroom with double sinks, a soaker tub, separate shower and a water closet. Additionally, the master has two walk-in closets and a private deck. There is a second bedroom on the 2nd floor with two double beds, a smart TV and an adjacent full bathroom.

The first floor includes a third full bathroom as well as the third bedroom featuring a queen bed, desk and TV. The 2-car garage with EV plug, entryway and outdoor shower are also on the first level.

There is parking for additional cars directly in front of the house (a rare find in Manhattan Beach).

Additional amenities include:
- fiber optic wifi connectivity on every level
- a Sonos system for your enjoyment,
- smart TVs in the great room and all 3 bedrooms
- beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, 3 surfboards, 2 bikes
- washer/dryer with supplies

Absolutely beautiful home and a wonderful location!! The hosts were so accommodating especially for our 16 month old granddaughter. All the details for fun days at the beach were appreciated! A special memory our family will cherish forever!!

We rented the house for Thanksgiving, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable family stay. The home is gorgeous and offered plenty of space for us to gather. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the views were beautiful—we especially enjoyed watching the sunsets each evening from the balcony.Our family loved using the surfboards, beach chairs, and beach towels that were provided. The parking was excellent, and the entire unit was spotless and very comfortable. The location was perfect as well; it was a lovely walk to the beach through a beautiful neighborhood.The host was extremely communicative and thoughtful, even welcoming us with a basket of snacks. The bathroom products were also excellent.We absolutely loved our stay and will happily book this home again.

Impeccable! This home was not only beautiful but had everything you might need. The neighborhood was nice and quiet so we could enjoy mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings on the deck watching the sunset. Our host actively communicated with us prior to our stay so we had no problems upon our arrival or during our stay. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing!

We had the most delightful stay at Britta and Mike’s place over the holiday! Beautiful house, fantastic location and all the comforts you could need. Beds were amazingly comfortable. We rent homes quite a bit and Britta was an exceptional host - very communicative and super pleasant to work with! Hope to be back!

The home is beautiful, spotless and extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we departed. The open floor plan on the top level with a full kitchen, living area, sliding glass doors and balcony offered our family a great space to enjoy the view and weather. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms clean and the washer/dryer seemed brand new. The 2-car garage easily fit a 5-series BMW on one side with full space for another vehicle and was fully stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, exercise mats and accessories. Britta was the ideal host - thoughtful, friendly, accommodating and immediately responsive. An absolutely perfect stay. 10/10. Thank you again Britta for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Great home, location and stay

Wonderful home in Manhattan Beach. Location was a short walk to downtown Manhattan Beach and to the strand. Close to the airport and it’s LA after all everything else is a drive. Beds were so comfortable. Nicely equipped in every room. The home was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We loved everything about this home and the owner was super easy to chat with. Love that they let you leave behind any nonperishables(drinks) for the next guest. Great home, great location and we had a great time in LA staying here.

Manhattan Beach at it’s best

As a former local to the area, staying in Manhattan Beach is often a little hard when it comes to the very few hotel options available that definitely leave you feeling like a tourist. Staying at Mike & Britta’s beautiful home just blocks from the strand made Manhattan Beach feel like home again, so much so we didn’t want to leave. As hosts, Mike & Britta are the best. Their instructions, amenities, home layout, location & kindness are unparalleled. Honestly, one of the best and most relaxing family trips we have ever had to a beach we once called home. Grateful, blessed, and already homesick for the beach life.

Luxurious Beach House!

Just an enjoyable and fantastic stay all around. The house was spotless! The furniture was new, clean and stylish Loved the kitchen - so beautiful and well designed. Such a treat to use. Even the garage looked brand new and spotless. Also, it was well stocked with beach items. The views were better than the posted pictures. The evening sunsets were lovely and we spent a lot of time in the main room taking in the views. The location was very quiet and an easy walk to fabulous restaurants and coffee shops. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. Just a breeze. Thank you for sharing your lovely beach house with us! Kudos - such a magical and relaxing stay!

Exceptional rental and host

2 week stay in the house and everything from the views of the ocean, location, and supplies were excellent. The owner, Britta, was tremendously helpful in navigating restaurants, wine stores, grocery stores and anything that was needed. I felt like we had a built in tour guide - she was really quick to respond. The house has everything and even bikes that we frequently used. She was terrific to work with from the initial contact all the way through our stay. Views - the top floor with kitchen and living room has phenomenal views all day and to take in the sunset every evening. Location - 10 blocks to the main center of MB...convenient enough for an easy walk and out of the area of any noise at night. Britta - thanks for a wonderful stay at your house! We hope to be back next yr!

Perfect home and location

The home had everything we could want. We had plenty of room for our family of four. Short walk to the Strand and great dining. Great beach views. Comfy beds. Having laundry and an abundance of towels was awesome.

Amazing location, beautiful home!

We stayed at Britta's Manhattan Beach home for a little over a month in February 2022, to get away from the chilly Chicago winter while my husband worked remotely. We had friends from Chicago visit on weekends, and enjoyed being so close (3 blocks) to the beach, and lots of walks and bike rides on the strand! The garage has 2 beach bikes and 4 beach chairs that we used quite often. The location was also perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. (We didn't have a car). The deck off of the living room had amazing views, and we enjoyed sitting out there for sunsets almost every night. The high-end gourmet kitchen has almost everything you could possibly need, and was spacious enough for entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for us. Beds were very comfortable, and bathrooms had plenty of hot water, lots of towels, and gorgeous tile! Britta was very responsive when we had questions or concerns. We hope to be able to spend part of next winter there too!

Best VRBO experience to date!

From the time I made the booking, everything was truly, truly wonderful. Britta was very responsive to questions, and went above and beyond for our family. She installed baby gates, bought a high chair and a pack n play, and even left a few small gifts for us upon arrival. In addition to her lovely welcome, the house itself is everything you’d want in a vacation. The location makes for easy access to the beach (3 blocks I believe), several playgrounds, and restaurants within a few blocks north and south. The decor and appliances are all modern, everything feels fresh and new. And best of all, the view! The living room and kitchen are on the top floor with glass doors to the balcony that slide open all the way to an incredible view of the ocean. We had one small issue with the a/c and Britta had it fixed within a day. No complaints, all compliments, we felt really lucky to stay here.
