WATERS EDGE-60 ft private dock, free concierge service on check in/out days!

Waters Edge is a well-maintained three bedroom home with views of the bay. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck and watch the beautiful sunrises over Little Gasparilla Island. Or take your java down to the beach which is a just short walk away. Whether you're relaxing on the upper or lower deck, the laid back vibe of Waters Edge will transport you to your happy place!

The lower deck has plenty of comfy seating and a bar area to enjoy your favorite adult beverage. Not to mention a nice view of the canal and your private dock, complete with water to hose down the boat, a fillet table to clean your daily catch. The canal view porch is screened offering respite from the sun and pesky insects. For those who simply want to relax and soak up the rays, the bay view deck offers seating under an umbrella to work remotely or if you choose, the Adirondack chairs for just being alone with a good read. Either way, there are plenty of conversational areas for business or pleasure.

After a sunny day at the beach, relax inside with an open floor plan that allows dinner to be created, while kids play games or watch a movie, all while taking in great views of the bay. The dining area boasts a table for 6. After dinner golf cart rides around the island are the best. There are several great sunset spots on the north end of island. (Maybe you'll see catch the green flash!) At Waters Edge, it's all about decompressing and savoring the slow pace of paradise also known as old Florida.

There is Wi-Fi, 60" Roku TV, in family room, a DVD player, (some kids and/family/adult movies). Primary bedroom has a 42" tv on wall. Dishwasher, Cuisinart drip coffee maker, and Nespresso coffee maker which we give a sleeve of capsules to try. Washer/dryer, outdoor shower, 2 children's kayaks. We can help secure adult kayaks if needed. Waters Edge is fully stocked allowing you to pack less!

Pets will be considered based on weight and breed. Please do not try and sneak a pet in, this will result in cancellation of your reservation and eviction notice.

Beautiful location and property

This was our 3rd stay on LGI which we love. First time staying in this home, and we LOVED it. Beautiful location, lovely home, very clean, and Terri was so nice.

What a great place to stay!

The property manager is fantastic and very accommodating with ideas and suggestions! The home is a great location to watch the sunrise from your deck then to walk about 50 yards to sit on the beach and watch the sunset. The home has everything you need for a fantastic stay! We will book here again for sure!

Water’s Edge

Water’s Edge is beautifully decorated and beautifully located. Whether you want to fish, spend time walking on the beach or just sit one the picture perfect screened in porch sipping on your morning coffee…. Water’s Edge is the perfect retreat for making core memories.

We love Water’s Edge

We absolutely love Water’s Edge. This is our second time visiting LGI and staying at this property. From the first step off the boat onto the dock our trip was a dream. The house is perfect and the location couldn’t get any better. Right on the water and just a short walk to the ocean, best of both worlds. Thank you for a wonderful stay, can’t wait for our next visit!

Awesome Stay

Home was in perfect condition! It was all that we expected and more! Kitchen was well stocked, beds very comfortable, and outdoor shower was a plus. Home was nicely renovated recently with many nice touches and above all, Terri was a wonderful host! We already miss it!!

Great Family Vacation!

“Bay to Beach” is right! This house was the perfect spot for hopping in the boat for fishing or walking to the beach for fun or a beautiful sunset! The house was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The owners were very responsive to any questions . Our family had a great time and made wonderful memories!

Fantastic Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. We loved having the boat dock right outside our door and the beach just a 3 minute walk away. Terri was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Thank you for the golf cart! 😀 We felt at home and enjoyed every minute of our time spent on Little Gasparilla Island. We look forward to planning our next trip!

Great bay view

This is a great house for enjoying the true island life. You have a great view of the bay from the screened in porch and you are less than 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped for cooking. Terri was always very prompt when I communicated with her. Will definitely rent Waters Edge again when our family can get together.

Beautiful home, awesome location, and lovely hosts!!

My family loved staying at this beautiful home so much, we were all sad to leave. The location couldn't be better. Jump in your boat and head to the sandbars, or take a short walk to the tranquil beach. The home was stocked with everything you could need and was well kept. The beds were soo comfortable!! Bottom deck was awesome, with spacious outdoor shower. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and always available! We fell in love with the island and cannot wait to go back soon! Would highly recommend!

Heaven

Water’s Edge is a little piece of heaven on earth. Beautifully decorated, centrally located…. I could have very easily stayed much longer then a week! This property is a true gem for memory making with your family/ friends…. We will most definitely return! We have been coming to LGI for ten years and this was by far the most amazing property we’ve stayed and with the most hospitable host! Terri, thank you for being so gracious and helpful! Hope to be back soon!

Amazing island gem

Beautiful home with great boat dockage on deep canal and steps away from a secluded and tranquil beach, a perfect spot for those who enjoy the water! The host is phenomenal, an excellent and responsive communicator plus warm and friendly. The home is just lovely, up on stilts for great bay views and keeping an eye on your boat. Plenty of space and cleats on the dock, cleaning table, and hose with nice water pressure for rinsing boat/engines/gear. Big space under the house for stowing boat gear and a fun outdoor bar/seating area. Outdoor shower is a huge bonus! The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms all comfortable, and the house decorated with care and impeccably clean. Our second time staying and will absolutely be back!

Our first stay on the canal

This was our first trip to LGI over Christmas. We have always visited in the spring. Terri and Dave were so great to work with! It was such a great bonus to be picked up at the marina by them and not have to worry about booking the water taxi. This is also the first time we haven’t had to trek all of our groceries and luggage a distance to find our rental house. It was amazing being dropped off literally right at the steps of our rental home. Our son’s birthday was Christmas Eve and Terri made him a cake, and even put up birthday decorations for him. They were available if we had questions and are just such great people! We brought our little dog and we had a welcome basket waiting for us with dog treats and snacks for us too. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and decorated so cute. We loved every minute of our stay! The walk to the beach was very short and easy. Our dog even quickly learned the route and took herself home from the beach (leash and all) one afternoon. We would definitely recommend this house to everyone and hope to stay again sometime soon.

Fantastic House with a Very Attentive VRBO Host!

We arrived for our 4 week stay at Waters Edge to a personalized welcome message from Terri, our host, on the chalkboard wall behind the patio bar downstairs. Entering the house we were greeted by a welcome basket of treats she had thoughtfully chosen for us. The house was immaculately clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and tidy up during our extended stay — a brand new Nespresso machine (with decaf pods we requested), two crock pots, a regular coffee maker, plenty of dishes and serving pieces to entertain guests from another household, an additional full sized refrigerator/freezer downstairs, to name just some of them. There were also beach towels, and Terri gave us convenient access to beach chairs so we didn’t have to lug them from the house. On the first, cool mornings we loved waking up to watch the sunrise from the front deck and then leave the French doors open to invite the outside in. Terri had great suggestions for things to do (look for the green flash at sunset!) and was eager to help us solve problems above and beyond what we would expect of a host. She even lent my husband her golf cart one day so he could come to my rescue after I became overheated on what had turned into too long a walk. Since we were there for four weeks, minor questions popped up here and there, but Terri always responded within minutes and the particular issue would be resolved by the end of the day — usually sooner. Waters Edge is just what we had hoped for when we imagined our stay on LGI. The location, the house itself, and most especially Terri made this our best VRBO experience ever.

This was our 4th time on the island and this house was hands down the best! Very clean and updated. The house was well stocked. The outside shower was incredible and convenient. We loved having the dock right in front of us and made bringing in our luggage and groceries a breeze. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect house to accommodate us all

From the beginning Terri was very welcoming and accommodating. The personal touches to welcome our family upon arriving were so sweet. Property was clean and well kept. Cute coastal beach couture theme, with an amazing outdoor bar, seating areas, and outdoor showers (favorite). We enjoyed every minute of this trip and it was very spacious and accommodating for all 6 of us. We enjoyed our time off the water playing many of the games and watching movies the property had on hand. Terri (host) was very responsive and showed a genuine caring spirit for the island and all it offers and makes her guests welcomed. This place is a definite spot to save and return for later visits.

A year ago I visited Little Gasparilla Island, and instantly fell in love with the island as so many people do. A few months later we found the perfect house on the island and moved from the mainland to LGI. When we learned Waters Edge was going on the market, we snapped it up too. Water Edge is perfect for those who want a bit of privacy and lots of paradise all in one! With 60 ft of private dock, you have the space for your private boat or a rental boat. Bay sunrises out your door and sunsets on the gulf less than a minute walk away. The house is cool and comfortable with an elegant island vibe. An open floor plan for dinners, music, views of the water, kids laughing, playing games and great dinners being enjoyed. You can't get it all in one house but Water Edge comes close; private dock, close to the beach and lots of amenties and most of all elegance and cleanliness.
