Well stocked kitchen with all the appliances you will need. 55" smart TV in both LR &BR. Laundry in unit. Dual pane windows and slider keep the condo extra quiet. Open to enjoy the breeze from the trade winds. Or if you prefer, AC and ceiling fans in both LR & BR for added comfort.

This quiet, oceanfront complex features: a gated oceanfront pool and hot tub, dry sauna, cabana in pool area complete with outdoor kitchen & gas grills, shuffleboard, putting greens, and mature tropical landscaping including tiki torches to provide that perfect island ambiance. Directly behind Luana Kai, between the complex and the ocean, you will find tennis and pickleball courts as well as a huge grassy lawn area. All beach equipment provided: chairs, umbrellas, coolers, towels, toys, noodles, and boogie board, pickle ball & tennis equipment.

Centrally located, Luana Kai is close to restaurants, shops, island attractions, and local activities, with easy access to the highway and only 20 minutes from the airport.

Great location

Such a cool area located close to everything you need. Perfect ocean view to enjoy meals from the lanai and while BBQing at the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place

The unit and resort were perfect for our family of young kids ages 3-5 with a common green space, good pool set up and a walk to the adjacent beach. The beach itself is not the best in the area, but some other wonderful ones are a 5-10 min drive away.

Great Stay In Kihei

Place was great, perfect for a family of 4, main bedroom and living room had separate A/C units which was great for bed time. Ground floor patio opened up to putting green and pool area so we could watch kids from lanai, short walk to beach through the grounds ( about 100m). Pool was heated which is rare in maui and had a hottub! would stay again, thanks for having us

You can get better for the money.

I'll start saying that is our forth time in Maui. Each of the previous three times we stayed in the same complex, about 5 minutes drive South on Kihei road from Luana Kai. Unfortunately there was nothing available at the time we decide for this trip. The good things: A/C working great, everything you need in an updated kitchen. Concrete building which is always my preference. The complex is well maintained. TV's, wi-fi, all super for whoever goes to Maui to waist time on that. The bad things: The king mattress in the bedroom was the worst ever to sleep on. Super soft and sagging. I'm not a heavy person, but killed my back. After the first night we purchase a inflatable mattress to add it on top for more firmness. It didn't work well, as it was still sagging, so we moved the teens in the bedroom, while we move in the living room, where the older extensible sofa bed was a lot better (if you can imagine that). They where not happy about the move, but they had no choice. The ugly (and this is the only reason we gave one star for communication with Rachell, otherwise would have been 5 stars): We did not appreciate the fact it was not disclosed to us that the unit above us was under renovation. I'm 100% positive the complex management would have disclose this to Rachell. I would have never rented that unit, knowing this. Reno team would start early in the morning and sometime work late. There was no way to have an afternoon nap. The complex location is not that great. Not much around the complex location. If you like evening walks you need to know that there are no sidewalks towards South Kihei. Most likely the same towards North Kihei. More toilet paper would also help. Three rolls for 4 people staying two weeks, definitely not enough.

Aloha Cristian, I'm very sorry to hear your negative comments regarding your stay. Honestly I had no idea there was construction in the unit above: each unit is individually owned and if you manage yourself ( which we do) and do not use the onsite management at the complex, owners are not notified of anything happening in other units. I can completely understand your frustration with this and I would feel the same, however, had you notified me there was an issue, I would've done what I could to help with this during your stay. I feel one star for communication is a bit harsh being that I was never notified of these things and have always responded promptly. Funny thing, the AC was not working after your stay and when I asked you if you had any issues, no response whatsoever. In regards to the king bed, I guess it's just a matter of preference as I've had another guest say they loved the bed so much they went out and bought the same one! Apologies for your discomfort, hopefully you were able to enjoy Maui
