This is a newly purchased home. It is being newly listed by the new owners after completing upgrades.

4 bed, 3 bath lake front property with 100 feet of waterfront just across the street including a private sandy beach and a private dock, so bring your boat.

Wake up to a spectacular view of Schroon lake and the Adirondack mountains. Enjoy your coffee on the front lake facing wrap around porch.

Lots to do year round. In the summer use the private beach and dock or visit the Town of Schroon Lake which has town beaches, marinas, golf course, and lots of local restaurants and shops only 15 minutes away. Winter offers ice fishing, snow mobiling, a local ski center in Schroon and Gore Mountain is a short 25 minute drive. Fall has amazing views of foliage and various town events. Fishing is good year round.

Based on fluctuations in water level in early spring, dock is only guaranteed to be in from June 15th until September 15th.

First time the family was together on Schroon Lake in many years. Everyone had a great time! The home was central to so many activities. We loved sitting on the beach and the deck watching the beautiful sunsets. The home was very spacious and the "game room" was a great place to hang out.

A great home well equipped other than could really use A/C . We were sweltering from Saturday till before Sunset on Thursday when it finally cooled down outside. Primary bath is really nice but could use some towel racks Home has had some nice updates, good size bedrooms and the lower level bedroom stays cool. Family room stays cool is awesome and a lot of fun .

Great family stay!

This property is exactly what we thought it would be! A great size house with great accommodations for our family of 7 adults and 1 baby. The house was spotless upon arrival directions were clearly laid out on what to do for check in and check out. The view of the lake is breath taking! Schroon lake holds a very special place in our hearts so to spend a beautiful fall weekend at the lake with family and friends was so nice! The open floor plan was great for our family to gather and spend time together. The house has lots of fun games which was great. The owners were super nice and easy to contact. All around an amazing experience and we look forward to booking next summer!

Quiet lakeside escape

Our group decided to try a different type of vacation this summer - we typically go to the beach. This year's group consisted of 8 total - 5 adults, 2 teens, and a child. The house suited our needs perfectly. One couple in the master, one couple in the downstairs bedroom, a single in the third bedroom, and all the boys stayed in the kid's bedroom with room to spare. The house was just the right size for our group, but I could see it maybe getting a little tight if you added more people. Some recent renovations had been done, which gave the house a cozy, cabin-like feel on the inside. We loved that we had our own little piece of shoreline with the property. We were down there daily, whether to have morning coffee, swim, fish, kayak, or just for the serenity of the lake. The lake itself has some motorized boat and watercraft traffic on it, but overall it was generally quiet. The location of this rental was also great for us. There are a couple of really cool nearby attractions (be sure to check out the Natural Stone Bridge & Caves, just on the other side of the lake.) It's also within close distance to Lake George and Bolton Landing, and within reasonable distance to Lake Placid. Lots of neat things to see and explore. Lastly, the owner was easy to contact and deal with. We needed to reach out to him one time, and he responded very quickly, probably in less than half an hour, if I remember correctly. Overall, I would easily recommend this rental.

Perfect family getaway

This house was very roomy and nicely laid out. Beach nice and private. Kids loved the kayaks. Family had a great time.

Beautiful Home

The home is gorgeous with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Upon arrival the house was spotless and had all of the accommodations that made or weekend stay wonderful. The inside is very spacious and decorated very nicely with Adirondack touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Getaway

The property was wonderful! There were enough beds for all and the kids especially loved the bunk room. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need. There were also great additions for kids such as toys, books, and pack n plays. The view was amazing to top it all off! We have already talked about another visit in the future!

Great place for winter or summer trip!

This property is a newly remodeled cabin style home with expansive lake views and plenty of room for 2-3 families with kids. It had a closet full of board games for the kids too. It also sets up as a good guys' trip house with downstairs bar and adjoining entertainment area. We stayed for a ski trip (about 20 minutes to Gore and about 1 hour to Whiteface) and even on a really cold weekend, the house felt perfectly heated. Showers had rapid hot water and solid water pressure, which was much appreciated after a day of skiing! The closest town was about 15 minutes away, but it had several good restaurants and seemed like it would be more active in the summer. There are some other nearby towns with restaurants, etc., nearby too. The lake (Schroon) was larger than you would think and had several boat slips/marinas nearby. There were a fair amount of people on the lake ice fishing in the winter. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about this property and its owners, who were incredibly attentive before, during and after our stay. The chocolate covered Oreos as a welcome gift was a great touch!
