Seahorse Cottage Bungalow - Only 7 Blocks from the Beach

Seahorse Cottage is only blocks from Jacksonville Beach (dog friendly - HUGE back fenced yard), close to Mayo Clinic, and has recently been renovated. Whether you are looking for a short-term vacation, or a long term stay in a home with all the amenities, we are set up for you.

The home has 3 bedrooms with a California King Bed, Queen Bed, and a room with a twin bed. If you need to get some work done while on vacation the 3rd bedroom has a built-in desk and computer monitor for you to use as well as high-speed internet. If the sun gets to be too much the home has 2 large screen TV's, cable, streaming services, DVD's, board games, and books for you to enjoy indoors.

Your front door is only 7 blocks from the sand and sea. The home is centrally located in Jacksonville Beach and is a short walk or even shorter bike ride to many of the areas attractions. Don't want to travel with your bike? We have you covered. There are several beach cruisers with locks in the garage for your use.

Traveling with children or pets? We have a fully fenced backyard and are located less than a block from Gonzales Park. There is room there for your dog to run, playgrounds for your children, and a basketball court. You will also find an assortment of balls for your use in the backyard or the park. There are sand toys and body boards for the beach. And we have your pets covered with bowls and a crate in the event you need one.

If you are looking to get out and find something to eat or drink, we are just a few blocks from Margaritaville, and a host of other fantastic restaurants. We have detailed some of our favorites that we will send you in our welcome guide once you book.

If shopping is what you are after, we have a ton of eclectic beach stores, art studios, and are located a short drive from the Atlantic Beach Town Center.

If you are a golfer, there are over 30 golf courses in the greater Jacksonville area, including TPC Sawgrass and the players championship just 7 miles away.

If you are looking to stay in, there is also a BBQ grill on the patio, plenty of furniture to sit around and talk, and a fire pit to enjoy the evenings.

We have tried to think of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and are looking forward to hosting you soon.

Greatest Jax Beach vibe

It's was a great house with an amazing yard! Close to everything! The house is a true beach gem! Neighborhood was great and close to a park, which we took advantage of ! Had everything you needed! It's was clean and it even has an additional a.c. in living room as it gets really hot here in fl! Everything was in great working order! I can't say how much we truly enjoyed staying here! It has a great beachy vibe!

Better than advertised...

This was one of the few rentals I stayed at that appeared larger than the photos. My mother is extremely picky, and we stayed at many rentals/hotels, however, she said this was the first time in a long time that she felt comfortable and on vacation. This rental gets my highest recommendation. I'll definitely book again if I'm in the area.

Great Everything!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Seahorse Cottage Bungalow. The location and neighborhood was perfect for our visit. Walking distance to restaurants, beach and shopping. The home was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Especially all the beach gear! The backyard was very large and perfect for hanging out and relaxing. Enjoyed the outdoor shower especially after our beach day. We will definitely reserve the cottage in the future.

Fabulous!

We have stayed here several times now and it is by far our favorite in Jax Beach! Everything is close by, the neighborhood is peaceful and nice to take walks around, and the back yard is really a great area to relax. We highly recommend this inviting, comfortable home away from home!

Clean, comfortable, convenient location

Great stay, convenient location, easy walk to beach, nice patio and back yard, safe neighborhood, well stocked kitchen, bath and bedrooms, good cooling and lighting, for reading. My only recommendation is to replace floral armchair with something sturdier. Highly recommended.

Great Location

We had a great stay! Our dog loved the back yard, it was only a couple of block away from the new pickleball courts and an easy walk to the beach. The place was clean and nicely appointed with lots of amentities like bikes and beach toys, towels, etc. A lot of attention to the details to make it a comfortable stay.

Great place if you have a dog traveling with you.

The house was comfortable and located close to restaurants and shopping. Walkable neighborhood and fully fenced back yard. After years of traveling with a dog, this was the best yard by far.

Great Jax Beach place

Everything was as the description outlined in this property. We even brought our small dog and the fenced-in backyard was a big hit for her! We found this home to be spacious and very accommodating with everything we needed from kitchen items to laundry amenities. I would highly recommend that anybody staying in the Jax Beach area for an extended period of time utilize this property. It's very centrally located and easy to get anywhere from Jax Beach to Neptune Beach to Atlantic Beach, etc. The owners were very easy to work with and very responsive.
