Situado segunda fila a la mejor playa de Hilton Head Island (como aparece en la revista Hilton Head). Esta casa de playa de estilo sureño tiene un gran porche con rockeros y un swing para relajarse. Ofrece una piscina privada climatizada y bañera de hidromasaje contigua con tumbonas para tomar el sol. La piscina en forma de riñón está rodeado de palmeras y árboles de roble vivo en voladizo. Hay una ducha al aire libre disponible al volver de la playa para su uso personal. La piscina puede ser calentada por un cargo adicional. Por favor, pregunte.

Está a minutos de golf, tenis, tiendas y restaurantes; sin embargo, su ubicación al final de Cassina Lane en South Forest Beach ofrece paz y tranquilidad con el sonido del océano.

La cocina ha sido ampliado con encimeras de granito y una isla central. Hay un refrigerador nuevo estilo francés de la marca con un montón de espacio para la comida durante una semana entera. La cocina es ideal para cocinar comidas grandes o simplemente preparar aperitivos.

Hay un aparcamiento debajo de la casa para dos coches y espacio en la calzada para dos más.

Nuestra casa de playa se encuentra a menos de una milla del famoso complejo de tenis Van der Meer y no muy lejos de Sea Pines o Palmetto Dunes Tennis Centers. Además, 38 campos de golf se encuentran en la isla. Hay 40 kilómetros de carriles bici, y la playa se extiende por 12 kilómetros. Coligny Circle es un corto paseo en bicicleta y ofrece muchos servicios como muchos restaurantes, tiendas y diversión para toda la familia. Visita Shelter Cove Harbour y Harbour Town para una buena cena / casual y tiendas, o disfrutar de una obra en el nuevo Centro de Artes Culturales. Great beach house

House was exactly as advertised - and much better information than most. Great for a group of couples - lots of bedrooms instead of big bunk rooms - but still with roomy common space. Nice pool/patio area, easy walk to a really nice beach. No need for hot tub or pool heat at this time of year.I particularly commend the owner on excellent instructions - everything was well laid out, easy to follow, and made it all very simple.

Family Vacation

This was a great stay, there were no issues but the host was super responsive. We fit really well (12 total) and the kids had a blast in the pool and hot tub. We were able to walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and there were plenty of beach toys and chairs that are left behind by other guests. We were a mile away from coffee, bars, food but it was an easy walk (not with kids). Next time we would rent bikes. Great stay!

Overall our stay was amazing! Thank you so much for all of your communication early on. Sorry if it was a bit much. I found the place and wanted to make sure people were happy. We had a blast. The beach access was perfect. Pool was a bit dirty and hard to maintain the skimming (for the small kids). But that’s out of your control for sure. The ice maker needs to be cleaned fyi. It’s got what looks like dirt or mold coming out on the ice. Thanks again for the hospitality… we really did enjoy our stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Delightful Thanksgiving break

Great Thanksgiving break in Hilton Head. The house is very spacious and offers tons of possibilities for sleeping arrangements and activities for friends and family alike. It's also very close from the beach (10 min walk) and Coligny plaza (20 min walk). The pool and heated hot tub were a hoot! The owner was very responsive and helpful. Thanks again!Morgan

Home away from home

Our family loved and have enjoyed this home for two years now. There is a loaded kitchen and ample space/bedrooms. With the pool and really easy access to the beach, there is no reason to leave!

The house was perfect for our family of twelve - six adults and six children, ages three to ten, The pool and hot tub were great; a well stocked kitchen; large living room area and comfortable bedrooms; easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Could replace a master mattress upstairs.

Awesome Home

The house fit the needs of our large family incredibly well. The location is perfect. The host D’Ette, is so nice and was so responsive to any needs or concerns. The house was the best equipped home we’ve ever rented with kitchen items and appliances. Overall, we couldn’t have rented a better home or had a nicer host. Everyone in our group wants to come back and I’m sure we will.

Only issue was minor with the hot tub operation, and the property owner addressed it immediately to resolve quickly. The location is great with a short walk to the beach. The weather did not cooperate unfortunately, but our stay was awesome, would definitely rent again at this location

The space was good period, but needed updating. There were plenty of dishes, bowls, cups, and silverware. But none of it matched. The pots and pans were very limited. We had a serious issue with the island. The maintenance man was 3 hours late, and then i had to help him carry it to his truck. The pool area was nice, but bring bug spray. The game area was a little disappointing. It was very weathered and dirty. Our grandkids described the walk to the beach on the path as going through a jungle. The neighborhood was nice, but they are starting construction of a new home across the street. The beach was never crowded and was very nice, and despite the 'jungle' fairly easy to get to. The house provided plenty of areas to get away to.

Very Disappointed

We were so disappointed with our stay. This house is in great need of some TLC. The inside was acceptable and as advertised, although it definitely needs an update. However the outside - was a dump! It had not been cleaned in weeks! Littered with cigarette butts and old broken lumber, furniture, and junk left behind by others. The pool furniture was broken and molded. Concrete was littered with dirt and stains. The property manager was quick to respond to my calls, and sent people out to clean - but each one of them was offended that they had to come out, complained and gave the excuse "this is not my job!" I was offered one night's refund, and appreciated that - however we still had to live in a dirty property all week. Had I known the true condition of this property - I would have never rented it. I have pictures if you would like to see them. (Don't see any place here to post them).

Bill is correct. Unfortunately by the end of the season it was the "perfect storm" of lack of responsibility from our service people. We had changed landscapers and our new crew could only service our home on Tuesdays, which didn't work at all for summer rentals. Since our garage and parking area normally had cars and people the garage was not blown out or attended to. We also had a change in ownership in our cleaning company. They were very short staffed and told me they couldn't take the time to clean the pool/beach toys. They even had people quit in the middle of the day which has never happened in the 20 years we have been renting our home. Our back storage room had become filled and needed a door, which we have now boarded up until we can get someone to build us a door. Getting people to show up and do a job has been a real challenge this past year. We have since been there and cleaned it up nicely but we will be changing landscapers (who by the way killed all of our front landscaping, ugh!) and arranging someone to be there on Saturday between changeovers. I think that was the biggest problem we had. All of the other items have been addressed. We always ask our renters to inform us of any issues so they can be addressed in a timely manner but as we have found out this year, our service crews are very short staffed and don't always do what they are supposed to do. Since we don't live close by, we certainly appreciate Bill letting us know and sending us pictures so we get the true story.

R&R on Cassina Lane!

Our extended family group of 7 adults and 2 children (ages 4 & 1) thoroughly enjoyed our beach vacation at 8 Cassina Lane. D’Ette was always prompt and responsive whenever contacted and provided excellent advance information & instructions prior to arrival. We loved this location in South Forest Beach…it was quiet and the beach wasn’t crowded, while Coligny & Celebration Park were just a short bike ride away. Pros: great pool, hot tub heats up quickly, just a short walk to the beach, very spacious and open, dining room table seats 12 plus there are 6 counter stools, no issues with mosquitoes, helpful labeling on light switches & some kitchen cabinets, big fridge with lots of storage (we cooked and ate in most of our meals). Cons: grill was dirty, some kitchen tools could stand to be updated (can opener, more spatulas, knives), some blinds need repair/replace because of missing tilt wands or crumpled louvers (D’Ette did say that those were on order). I noticed several reviews mentioning that this home was dated or needed TLC…our family found this home to be clean, it is dated but comfortable (and the pictures accurately reflect the home’s decor), the mattresses were comfortable, and we didn’t have to worry about the little ones ruining anything. There was plenty of room to spread out (nice front porch with rockers & swing), but who am I kidding? Our group was in the pool and hot tub when they weren’t on the beach or riding bikes. Thanks for a great vacay!

2.5 stars. Home is very nice, large rooms, large beds, nice furnishings, pool & area unusable.

Here are the good things and the not so good things about our stay. The interior of the house is very comfortable with more than adequate amenities. We enjoyed that part of the trip. However, there was a large hole in our total enjoyment. We were accompanied by three granddaughters, 9 months, three years, and six years. One of the reasons we chose your place was the private pool. We never got a chance to use it. The pool was dirty, with leaves on the bottom and floating on top. The pool area had not been swept in a long time. The hot tub was cloudy, murky. Nobody was about to use either. Saturday morning two guys came and cleaned the pool and swept the pool area. But, since the entire family left the house about 10:00 AM for the SCAD graduation at 1:00 PM, there was no time to use the pool that morning. My daughter, her husband, and three daughters had to head toward Nashville as soon as that was over, about 3:30 PM. Thursday evening and all day Friday were all the open times we had to use the pool with the granddaughters. The kids never got a chance to get in the pool. They did go to the beach Thursday and Friday. Friday night well after sundown on the edge of total darkness they witnessed a huge Loggerhead female exit the water, probably to lay eggs. There were other people on the beach which spooked her and she reentered the sea and left. Still, it was a wonderful experience for the kids. One might ask why I did not call and get someone out to clean the pool. I paid a tidy sum for the facilities and in turn, I was supposed to receive specific things, among which was the pool. I should never have to ask for that which was supposed to have been provided, unless something broke, which does occasionally happen. I have a rental house too, so am familiar with things that break. In this instance, there was nothing broken, it was simply not useable due to not being clean. Additionally, thank goodness we were not planning to use the grill area as the table and chairs were also too dirty to use. The back porch and steps down to the pool were dirty and covered with leaves. My sister-in-law swept most of it in order to make it usable by the kids after they rinsed off after being at the beach. I grade our visit as 2.5 stars at the most. Again, we did enjoy the interior of the home. It was large with comfortable beds. The unusable pool and pool area ruined the trip for us and our granddaughters. We will not be returning.

Our pool company had just cleaned the pool and pool area the day before our guests arrived. Unfortunately there was a bad storm that night. Our pool company is on a schedule and unless they get a call informing them a pool needs an extra cleaning they don't go out to check after a storm. Our guests never informed us that the pool area was unusable until after they left. Had they called us or the pool company upon arrival, someone would have been out to take care of it and they would have been able to enjoy the pool and pool area during their stay.

First, the property location is ideal. Just a short walk to the beach, which was in a less crowded area (away from the high rise resorts, but near enough to walk to the Tiki Bar at Coligny Beach). Second, the instructions and communications from the owner were comprehensive and clear. I would give her very high marks for communication. Finally, the house had a good open concept floorplan with lots of seating in the common areas; however, the furniture was a little worn. The bedrooms were good size with comfortable beds (mattresses); however, the bathrooms were old and dated. The bathrooms, along with the rest of the house, could use some updating. We had several people in our party that were working remotely but there wasn't a desk in the whole house. We made do with the tables on the porch and the dining room table but in today's world it would have been nice to have a work area or two, e.g. in the den. The outdoor areas were nice (porch and pool area), but beware of the mosquitos. Unfortunately for us, there was no working dishwasher which was a bit of pain. The owner did notify me about a week before our arrival that she was desperately trying to get it fixed but with supply chain issues it just didn't happen before our arrival. I appreciated the head's up but felt as though we should have received some compensation for the headache. I would never have rented a place without a dishwasher but couldn't make other arrangements with such short notice. Overall, a great beach house, but it definitely needs some updating.

We Woll Be Back!

7 gal pals travel to Hilton Hear for our 5th annualsummer beac trip. This house was perfect for our needs! Everyone had their own bedroom. The open concept kitchen, dining and great room lent itself to spacious gatherings and conversations. The pool was refreshing after coming off the beach - a perfect way to cool down. And the location was great! Real close to Coligny Plaza with lots of dining and shopping experiences; also a short ride to Sea Pines. We all agree we'd like to go back next year!

HHI never disappoints!

Our party of 10 stayed at this property the last week of July and we had a wonderful time. The owner was great to work with and proactively let us know we could check in early since the cleaning was complete. The home is spacious and clean. The outdoor space is great, especially the pool. It is a short walk to the beach which had plenty of space to set up. One minor complaint is the noise the spa makes when in use. We come to the island almost every year and we would definitely stay here again!

Great time

Everything went very smooth. Everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom’s and bathrooms was well supplied. Pool area was great enough room to sit around and big enough for all 11 of us to be in the pool at the same time. The owner was very nice and easy to get a hold of for questions we might of had. Close access to beach.

Great place

The owner was wonderful, very attentive and easy to contact. The property was great and so close to the beach. Pool was perfect and shady in afternoon. Overall, great place, would definitely seek this place out again.

This is one of two houses that the Stratton Family has purchased for some family use and for rental. We manage the properties and rent them ourselves. Our renters save on the 30 percent fee that many of the management companies charge. We live in Marietta, Ga and travel to the properties regularly to keep the properties in tip top shape for the rental season.

We have loved Hilton Head Island ever since my first visit there in 1980. We have been vacationing there on a regular basis ever since. We finally decided to buy a place and enjoy the island even more.

We love that the location is private, you have a small view of the beach and the you can hear the sound of the waves from the ocean at night. The beach is very close and is never crowded. The new renovations have made the house even better.
