A fabulous location. Good bedroom, kitchen and living area layout. There are a few item needing clean up. There was an outside elevator which does not work and looks junky. There are some boards under the deck that need to be tightened up. It would be nice to have some floats and outdoor games. It was a great stay with beautiful sunsets.

Great place

We had a great trip here! The house was clean and in a great location, right on the beach. Lots of deck space and outdoor seating to enjoy for when you’re not at the beach.

Our family had a great time! We will definitely be back. The hosts are super nice and respond quickly if you have any questions. Best part is going out on one of the decks to drink your coffee in the early morning.

Family vacation

Location is amazing. House not so much. House uses septic system. If u have kids, BE SURE to watch them closely and make sure ALL sand is off before the shower. Otherwise toilet backs up into shower. No pressure in showers. Whatever knick knacks are in there, document what is broken or u will be blamed. The screen door to porch must be propped open or u will be locked out. The lock to main house doesn’t work. There are others houses that work better for a family. This one does not. We will be back. Just not here.

Our own Sand Castle

This was our family vacation. 10 of us & we had a fabulous stay!! The house was beautiful, inside & out!! It has everything you need! Located on the beautiful white sandy beach of Cape San Blas. We enjoyed meeting Phil & Carol, who were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Great host! We highly recommend this beautiful property!!!

Location cannot be beat, outstanding beach

We had the best time! Being able to step off the porch directly onto the beach was a game changer. The beach was so clean and sparsely populated— so relaxing, and a nice contrast to some of the more over populated spots on the coast. We rented beach chairs and shades from a company nearby but probably didn’t need to as there were some extra Adirondack chairs we probably could have carried down to the beach for the few days we were there. Restaurants nearby were few and far between but if you plan ahead on groceries you’ll be fine. Weather called for rain during our whole trip but it ended up being super little stints and was actually really nice to watch from the porch! The beds were super comfortable and carol was repainted with questions we had leading up to the trip. I would come back!

Spring Break Trip with teenagers

Great house and location! Owner was very responsive. The teenagers loved having use of the kayaks. Overall we were very happy with our stay. For awareness for future renters: - There are two small grills versus one large grill - Bring bottled water. Fridge does not have filtered water.

Just steps to the beach

We had the best time. Literally steps away from the water. The house was clean and smelled good. I wish the pictures of the bottom bedroom/ outdoor patio had been listed together. I would definitely rent again.

The house was absolutely wonderful! We loved being just steps from the beach and the layout of the house was great! This was our first stay but we will definitely be back.

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our fall family vacation. It had a wide open floor plan to accommodate our large group and a well stocked kitchen. The biggest plus for us was you can't get much closer to the beach which was huge with 6 grand kids under 10 yrs old. The property managers Phil and Carol are awesome to work with and we will definitely be back again soon!

Girls Trip

Great location, house, and owners. We enjoyed the beach atmosphere and convenience to beach by the public beach access. Double red flags so didn’t get in ocean but we’re not swimmers anyway. Not a lot of restaurants/grocery options but perfect for cooking and lots of kitchen supplies. Would stay again!

Awesome!

This was the perfect place for our family of 7 adults to gather for a quick vacation. We are NOT a beach family and have never chosen to have a family beach trip. However, we had limited time and wanted somewhere we could vacation that was close to our home in Alabama while we had everyone in town for a few days. Cape San Blas was highly recommended to us so we took a chance. This beautiful home has converted us to a beach family and everyone wants to come back again next year! The home was immaculately clean and the beds were some of the best we’ve had at rental homes. The location was amazing- quiet, convenient to anything we needed and right on the water. The owners were so easy to work with and extremely responsive. We rent a lot of vacation homes and this was by far one of the very best ever. Thank you for giving us a place to build some family memories.

Great spring break getaway

This was our first time in cape san blas and won’t be our last! We loved the location of this house right on the beach and near the few shops and restaurants on the cape. We were a bit surprised on checkin that the bedroom with the twin beds is in the basement are not accessible from inside the house… our kids were young teens so not a huge deal but we had a bad storm late one night and they were texting nervous (the whole house shook from the thunder!) but it was raining so hard they didn’t want to go outside to get to their parents. Just something to note if you have younger kids that may need parents in the night. It may have been noted in the listing and I just overlooked. We would rent this property again - it worked great for our needs! Thanks for letting us enjoy your fabulous home!
