Casa de playa perfecta! Vista al mar, pasos a la playa - gran patio trasero!

Encantadora casa de playa de estilo Nantucket, cerca de la playa con vista al mar de la famosa playa Pierpont. Te encantará el gran patio trasero cercado y el jardín! Casa de playa clásica de dos pisos con cocina, sala de estar y balcón en el segundo piso, es como vivir en una casa en un árbol, con vistas alrededor. Encanto antiguo actualizado con todas las comodidades que incluyen WiFi, internet, televisión por cable! Nuestra casa es luminosa y tiene una excelente ubicación en una encantadora calle junto a la famosa playa Pierpont de Ventura. Dos dormitorios y un piso de arriba baño (cama King Size y dos individuales), con techos abovedados, amplio balcón y suelos de madera. Hay una sala de estar / o tercer dormitorio abajo (cama y cama doble sofá doble) con amplio walk-in closet y su propio cuarto de baño con ducha. A su llegada, encontrará sábanas limpias con camas ya hechas.

La cocina de planta abierta con estufa a gas es divertida para cocinar mientras se mantiene parte de una conversación animada en la sala de estar, o simplemente disfruta de las vistas. Tome el sol y disfrutar de la puesta de sol en el balcón. Los niños o adultos, tienen su propio espacio en la planta baja, en la sala de estar, donde se puede ver la televisión o jugar juegos. Hay un patio trasero GRANDE con césped, mesa de picnic, sofá, barbacoa y una fogata para hacer una hoguera. Hay una ducha de playa en el patio con agua caliente para disfrutar cuando vuelva de la natación o el surf en la playa.

Restaurantes y centro comercial están a cinco minutos a pie de la avenida Mar adentro. Si lo que buscas es la escena de la ciudad, la calle principal está a 10 minutos de distancia y ofrece todo, desde ir de compras, restaurantes, teatros, bares de jazz y vinos, balnearios y casas de café.

Nuestra casa es el más adecuado para las vacaciones, los viajeros de negocios, parejas y familias pequeñas.

Algunas personas dicen que este barrio especial, conocida como playa de Pierpont, es como retroceder en el tiempo. Definitivamente tiene un montón de encanto de antaño, es tranquilo, y no puede ser superado en un vecindario transitable en bicicleta, con muchas atracciones cercanas. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely beach house! My husband and I stayed in the lower level with our toddler on the pull out couch, and my mom and stepdad stayed upstairs in the large bedroom. We were all very comfortable, appreciated the separate spaces, and the location was perfect! With just a short walk to the beach, we were able to enjoy that at our leisure. Additionally, being conveniently situated for getting up to Ojai was important to us for visiting my grandparents.The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the backyard was wonderful for relaxing and letting our daughter play. We would gladly stay here again!

Great stay! Second floor has view if ocean and tree tops. Lovely to watch the all the birds including lots of hummingbirds flit about. Fabulous back yard to hang and wash off before heading in. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy beach cottage

We loved our stay at this cozy beach cottage and can’t wait to return. It’s a short walk to the beach and local restaurants and grocery store. The home had everything we needed and comfortable beds.

Perfect house close to beach.

Wonderful place, couldn't be happier or have been more perfect. Jane's communication was prompt and helpful. House was clean, comfortable, and simply perfect for this couple and a dog. Easily could fit another couple or a family with kids. Short drive to downtown. Walkable to Starbucks or Vons or to some restaurants. Joggable to pier on bikepath by ocean, walk to sunset, coffee on balcony, naps with birds chirping outside, tea by the fire. Peaceful. Simple. Beautiful. Wasn't missing anything we needed. Would love to stay again someday. -Chris

Beach House

It was amazing. The place was perfect for us.The lay out was wonderful. We had adult children and a new baby. We could walk to the beach. It was dog friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough room and space for us. The backyard was a plus. We were lucky the weather was perfect. Definitely will be back. :)

family reunion !

such a sweet and sunny space inside and out, front and back, upstairs and downstairs. there are spaces to gather, and places to have some quiet time alone. it is an easy stroll to the sandy beach, to Seaward for groceries, breakfast, coffee, fro-yo or tacos! we didn't need our car except once to go downtown. the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. so nice to sit on the front balcony to see the ocean and watch the sun come up and the neighbors out walking their dogs or going for a run. so serene and restful to sit in the cool green of the welcoming backyard space that sprinkled us with beautiful orange/red flowers when ever a breeze blew in off the water. the owner was attentive and quick (as in less than 30 minutes!) to respond to my questions. We had a good stay and were sad to leave.

Perfect beach house indeed.

The house had the old fashion beach area charm with modern amenities. Our group really enjoyed the multiple conversation areas, each with its own ambiance: the back yard (my husband barbecued twice), the balcony with a view of the ocean, the upstairs living area was ample and comfortable, (a resident humming bird stayed nearby) and downstairs with plenty more seating and a large TV. The quiet street that dead ended at the sand made the 2 minute walk to the beach simple and safe. The location is wonderful. Just a very short distance, the marina and Buena Ventura park are lovely. Surfers and wind surfers provided entertainment at the point. A fun fish restaurant, in between, at the pier. We saw shore birds galore and even a dolphin. My only regret is that we didn’t have any children with us to play at the beach and we didn’t bring my sister’s dog. I would definitely return.

Family Staycation

We were visiting our kids who both live close by, but don't have space for us to stay with them. So instead, they stayed with us! The house is exactly as the pics show. Felt a bit like going to the family beach house. It's not fancy, but had everything we needed including a surprising amount of space. The house is close to the freeway, but very quiet at night. We had coffee every morning on the front porch looking out at the ocean. Then a morning walk on the beach with our pup. Afternoon meant time lounging in the beautiful private backyard, playing scrabble and reading. Another walk at sunset to end the day. We cooked dinner at the house several nights and also walked just a few blocks to try out the restaurants on the "main street". Didn't do many touristy activities other than a hike at the botanical garden on a dog friendly day. We appreciated that there was no TV upstairs. Would be nice to have a wireless speaker upstairs for music - so bring your own if you want to listen to music. For a casual family getaway, this house was ideal!

Great beach house

There are so many wonderful things to say about this property. Walk few minutes to the beach and close to everything in Ventura. (Bike trails, restaurants, marina, pier). The house is adorable, clean and well equipped. Not large in square footage, but feels larger. A big private fully fenced backyard with plenty of seating and balcony off living room was nice. I loved the beautiful landscaped front yard, patio & white picket fence. Looks like something out of a movie. Comfortable beds & linens, outdoor shower, the use of the garage/laundry area for our bikes. Adequate parking space. My family love this house and the vacation stay. Wanted to stay longer. The interior is a little dated, could use a facelift, But that is the vintage charm of it. I wish I owned this house. Jane is a wonderful host. Very attentive and easy to deal with. Would love to come back sometime! Thank you Jane

Perfect beach house

This property was perfect for our beach getaway. The beach is a 2 minute walk. Short distance to shops and stores. We will definitely be coming back.

Family getaway with the dogs

Had a lovely stay at this charming beachhouse. Great lighting, multiple sitting areas, heating and Central AC, good water pressure in showers, and very clean. The kitchen has a coffeemaker with coffee and filters (whew!). Has lots of cookware if you cook. Too many good restaurants in Ventura to cook on vacation if you have the option. (Lure Fishhouse, Cafe Nouveau for weekday brunch/lunch, and Spasso Italian Just a 6 minute walk!) The downstairs has its own bathroom, sitting area with TV (only one in house, but wifi good for small devices) and access to backyard and laundry room. A screen separates the downstairs bed from view of people coming and going upstairs. (It was a concern when I viewed the VRBO pix online as it looks like it was wide open.). An interior door at bottom of stairs and entry into house separates the downstairs from upstairs or quiet, kids or pets. We had a night owl group (kids) and we are warly risers so that was a benefit. The upstairs has a living room, kitchen, dining room and two more bedrooms, and direct access to the front yard. The queen bedroom upstairs has a nice vibe and we enjoyed it. Bed was super comfortable. My adult daughter and adult granddaughter enjoyed the downstairs with the dogs. Only negative, The kids bedroom (3rd bedroom upstairs) is like most VRBO’a - adults will not want to stay in it. It could be charming if intended for adults. Two twin beds only appeals to kids or large group. a queen bed in there wb partial fix

Ventura trip

Clean quaint house on a quiet street about a hundred yards from the beach. Couple hundred yards from a street where we found a sushi place and a great restaurant called Social Tap where there’s tv’s and something on the menu for everyone! Quarter mile from grocery store. Perfect!!

A Peaceful Week in the Pierpont

Cozy, clean and convenient, this beach house has a very private backyard and a lovely view of the ocean from the 2nd floor balcony. Our group of four adults was very comfortable and the location was perfect for visiting my friends and family.

Lovely home with everything you need.

Our past three Christmases have been at this Pierpont home and we have really enjoyed them. It has been only two couples so there was more than enough room and an extra bedroom. We enjoy being able to see the ocean from our second floor deck and peeks of it from upstairs. There are Christmas lights strung along the outside deck that we can enjoy from the livingroom and fresh flowers in vases, a lovely touch. The large kitchen windows have huge honeysuckle blooming and lots of room in the backward which is fenced as is the small front yard. Plenty of dishes and kitchenware and basic condiments. Parking for two in the driveway and a possible third car out front. Very steep stairs go to the upstairs from the door to the downstairs full bedroom, bath and tv, couch and chairs. Short walk to the beach and very quiet neighbors. This home has everything you need but the steep stairway wouldnt be good for young children altho there is a gate that can be set up at the top of the stairs.

It is our home at the beach and therefore we take pride in keeping it a charming getaway for us and you. It is a great retreat on a quiet lane, yet close to all the wonderful activities Ventura provides.

Our family loves walking and swimming at Pierpont beach- it's a beautiful natural beach with sand dunes, waves and great views of the Channel islands. The views and sunsets from our second story living room and kitchen are captivating. The location is close to everything- bike to the pier, to the harbor or downtown for dinner or a movie. Walk to the grocery store of local restaurants on Seaward Ave.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love the 'Nantucket' style house because it's light and bright with great bedrooms, bead-board, raised ceilings, built-out closets and wood floors upstairs, gorgeous red tile downstairs. It has a great, large back yard for relaxing or having a bonfire and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows in the fire pit. Did I say there is a beach shower in the yard with HOT water! Wow...that is the best after coming back from the beach.
