Wonderful weekend

Spectacular

Hosts, home, and location were amazing. The front porch was used more than any other space in the house, perfect breeze flowing through all day. Very clean, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, the hosts were quick to respond and also very nice people! As past visitors of the community, I can honestly say this was our best trip yet! We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Amazing home

We had a wonderful time at your home. The house is just perfect. The house was fully stocked and super clean. The use of the golf cart was so nice. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Absolutely perfect! We will definitely plan to stay here again. Oceanside Village is a wonderful community. Thanks so much for letting us stay!

Great getaway!

The cottage was just as pictured! Golf cart made it easy to get to pool and beach!! The kids and us all enjoyed the pools! Front porch is large and perfect for kicking back with something cold to drink and watching the carts go by! Great experience! Kara was easy to communicate with and very accommodating!!

Baseball tournament

This house was perfect for our family. We were in town for our sons’ baseball tournament. The weekend was rainy so we were grateful for the space the house provided so we could feel we were at home. The indoor pool was a saving grace as well as the golf cart, play ground an amazing community. The house was clean, peaceful and was well stocked. The front porch was a relaxing retreat. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely rent again!

Family vacation

This was the first time for us staying at a rental home. We were looking for a comfortable and safe place for our grandchildren to experience their first time at the beach. Oceanside Village was the perfect place for our family to vacation together. The children had plenty of room to run and play. The golf cart provided ease for my daughter and son in law to get them to the pool and beach, plus the children loved riding to their destination. The accommodations we had at Kara’s Cottage was wonderful. We had all we needed and the atmosphere was very peaceful and extremely comfortable for us all. We were very pleased with our first time experience and are planning to come back next year.

Ended up cutting our trip short. Read whole review please! Trying to be fair. Starting with pros - 1. Were willing to accommodate an early check in if cleaning was complete 2. It was SO HUGE to have the golf cart! 3. Comfy beds 4. Neighborhood splash pad for littles 5. Proximity to grocery store and beach with golf cart 6. Both the host and her husband were responsive in communication! Cons - 1. Check in was a mess. The host spelled my name wrong (accidents happen) so the security team didn't have my information needed to get a vehicle pass. And the property office isn't open on Sundays so we couldn't get the key needed to access the beach or the neighborhood entrances for our first day. Seems like something that should be planned for. 2. Mold on bathroom wall. Huge issue. Both of our kids have lung issues. They offered to come to remediate once flagged. We opted to close the door and only use the other bathroom because mold remediation can also cause aggravation to lungs. There was no way to win in this one. 3. Seriously concerning smells coming through vents. At one point, we thought the HVAC was on fire because it was so intense. As mentioned previously, we were traveling with two small kids. After this incident and the known mold, we ended up vacating the property two days early. 4. Lack of basic supplies. Had to buy soap for the kitchen sink. We were only given one trash bag and a very small roll of paper towels for 5 days at the beach.
