Located at the Villas by the Sea Resort, you will have access to the community pool, kids play area, volleyball court, fitness center and boardwalk to the beach behind the Rockerfeller Building. Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.


Amazing beachfront condo on Jekyll Island at Villas by the Sea. Wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy coffee as you watch the sunrise from your 2nd story balcony. This ocean front unit encourages you to ‘SEAS THE DAY’ by exploring Driftwood Beach, bike trails, horseback riding, the historic district and all that Jekyll has to offer. Finish the day with happy hour on the 1st floor walk out patio as you get ready for dinner at the Jekyll and Tide Restaurant and Bar (on the VBTS property) or other area restaurants.


Enjoy the pool, sand volleyball, kids play area and easy beach access. This unit just completed a new owner renovation including quartz countertops with farmhouse sink, new flooring, vanity, light fixtures, large screen Roku TV and more.

Felt like home!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and had the BEST time! The property was very clean upon our arrival and we were so comfortable here. 10/10 will have to return soon!

Beach getaway

The place was perfect. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to make brunch. Outside was an ancient live oak that provided a place for song birds to greet me every morning. The ocean isn’t loud and all night it’s gentle sounds filled my room. Across the road was a walking path around a pond where we found turtles and a gator or two resting in the afternoon sun. If only I could’ve stayed longer

A bit disappointed that the boardwalk didn’t actually provide access to the beach/ocean. Erosion controls are understandable; it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. But there were plenty of short walks/drives that gave access to the water. Overall, a lovely experience!

There were a couple of issues

No where in the property decided it say there is a $10/day parking fee you pay at a toll booth when entering Jekyll. That was a $50 surprise. Otherwise it was a nice condo. TV stopped working on day 4 and the property manager did not answer our call

Wonderful Condo with a Terrific Ocean View

I would absolutely recommend staying at this condo. Both the patio and deck have ocean views. It was clean and just as advertised. I gave a four rather than five star review about communication because a week before our stay I had sent a question via the message feature on Vrbo and didn't receive a response; but my question wasn't particularly important. My only other, very minor gripe, is that while the condo featured a coffee maker and filters, it didn't include coffee. In my experience with other overnight services, coffee is standard. But like I said, that's small potatoes. I recommend staying here.

The downstairs outside patio had only one adirondack chair and it was too dirty to sit in. The view of the ocean was lovely especially from the upstairs bed looking through the tree.
