Beautiful Desert Retreat - Salt Water Pool & Spa

Welcome to your family friendly vacation home! Our home is located in a quiet family friendly residential neighborhood in Desert Hot Springs. Enjoy the beautiful backyard poolside as you lounge, sunbathe or use the hot tub. This home features a salt water pool & spa along with a spacious outdoor space great for the whole family! Our goal is to ensure you have the best vacation possible. We hope you enjoy your stay and have an amazing vacation! Minutes away from Mission Lakes Country Club, this home is in one of the best areas of Desert Hot Springs!

We are committed to being great neighbors and supporting our neighborhood when it comes to noise and city rules. Our home is located in a quiet family friendly residential neighborhood in Desert Hot Springs. The city has a very strict 10pm noise ordinance for loud music and excessive noise outside. No large or amplified speakers are allowed outside at any time (even during the day). Noise during the day should not disrupt neighbors. Please respect neighbors and neighborhood.

We are located only 30 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park and about 20-25 minutes from downtown Palm Springs.

Maximum occupancy of 8 people cannot be exceeded at any time. Additional infants and small children are absolutely okay, just let us know.

Our Home is Alexa Smart! Each room has Alexa Echo devices installed that can support with various types of commands such as lights, spa usage and playing music.

Long term stays (28+days) will require separate rental agreement.

No access to garage. Driveway can accommodate 3 cars. Maximum 3 cars on property, no street parking.

Pool heating is available only Oct-April at an additional charge of $95/night. Pool heating must be done for the entire stay. Let us know if you plan on using pool heating for your stay.

Beautiful home, so CLEAN. Comfortable furniture inside and poolside. Pool and hot tub are excellent. We were there in mid October and had the pool heated and it was perfectly comfortable. Chaise longes, tables and chairs, grill, umbrellas for shade make poolside longing comfortable and easy. TV’s in all rooms. Large kitchen. Fridge with icemaker was especially appreciated. The host is easy to communicate with, receptive, helpful and friendly. A great place that’s even better than pictured!!

Perfection

The house and property were delightful and perfect for our trio of old friends relaxing for a long weekend. Super comfy beds and a really well stocked kitchen! There was one umbrella that is too broken to be opened, just fyi. We left it to the side of the patio. One thought for the future - with noise ordinances restricting outside conversations after 10pm, perhaps a more loungey, cozier living room arrangement/furniture would be more conducive to indoor group conversation. As is, the furniture is nice but a bit stiff and small and not a place you want to hang out for very long.

Spring break getaway

We had a great time at this property as a family of four plus two grandparents. The property is in a cute and quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, blankets, and cooking supplies. The open floor plan suited everyone as we easily transitioned from playing in the pool to watching NCAA basketball in the living room to having snacks in the kitchen. We were able to easily access Joshua Tree National Park and the Palm Springs Aerial Tram from the house. Overall a great trip and we would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Great set up for the family

I hosted two of my children and their 4 kids for four full days. Everything was great and we used the pool all day and enjoyed a hot tub after dinner. We went to the zoo as a road trip on one of the days and went to the local playground and sport park twice. The local frozen yogurt place is awesome and we treated ourselves twice. Highly recommend

Get away

We absolutely loved this Vrbo, clean, cute, easy to work with and good communication. We loved the outdoor space so much as well! Could not have asked for a better place

Disgusting!!

This property is not accurately depicted in the online photos. This house is gross, first and most important to point out....the house has been taken over by about 15 to 20 pigeons. They own this house! The pool area was disgusting, There was bird poop everywhere! All over the hot tub ledges...pool surround all over the backyard and all over the roof The pigeons were looking at us like "can I help you" They would fly off the roof in a circle and land back on the roof. Obviously they have taken over and are used to living there. The pool and hot tub were fully green with algae all over the walls and floor. This is supposed to be a saltwater pool!... So .no chlorine to even attempt to kill the bacteria from the constant bird poop... Also ..while we were stunned and horrified that any host would allow this...a pigeon landed in the hot tub and started bathing. The inside of the house was clean but gross.. There was a disgusting dingy ill fitting curtain over the sliding door (it wasn't even open so it would be bright and sunny when you walk in) More gross haphazardly hung shower curtains over shower doors .. This house is a joke! The reviews are probably fake....really? In one review I remember someone saying I stayed here with my family?? No mother would put their baby in a pool that was in this kind of shape... It was dirtier than the dirtiest fish tank you've ever seen. I informed the host that it was not as advertised and not acceptable, Sarkis(the host) refused to refund.

Great place to stay

Came here with family for long weekend and birthday. 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Neighborhood quiet and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook and bbq! The outdoor area was amazing. A lot of seating and the pool and hot tub were both amazing!

Relax and Adventure

Enjoyed our stay at Sarki's. The owner's thought and care for her guest and the place is evident from the spacious, comfortable furnishings, to the kitchen equipment, to the relaxing backyard, and the prompt response to my messages. The house is as described with lots of room to relax in the backyard. We found more to do in the area than we realized. If you are headed to Joshua Tree National Park, less than an hour away, check out the quieter Black Rock Nature Center area hikes and more to do in Palm Springs with it's nearby state parks for this outside-geared family.

Awesome oasis

Sarkis was an excellent host and we loved our stay. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and spa. We had such a relaxing and fun stay. Loved it!!

One of my favorite vrbo houses ever!

We loved this home from the moment we entered! Modern, comfortable, very clean, good lighting, safe neighborhood near a cul de sac. This place has everything! Kitchen was well stocked without being cluttered (air fryer, hot water kettle, coffee maker and Keurig..) Beds were quite comfortable. One of my daughters asked to have her own bedroom decorated like one of the bedrooms! Outdoor area was perfect for us. The pool heater was set on a timer which was so convenient. We swam every day even though it’s January. Room lights and spa were Alexa enabled which also was great. We enjoyed the backyard to swim, read, eat, nap and make s’mores. Location allowed us to hike in East Indio Hills and Joshua Tree plus shop at Desert Hills outlets. Communication with the owner was excellent. We plan to return to this house in the near future!

Fabulous house and tranquil backyard with mountain views

Fantastic house with a GORGEOUS backyard and pool plus all the amenities! This house is stocked with everything you need and makes for a very comfortable stay. The host is very responsive and wants your stay to be a great one! It was perfect for our girlfriend get-away.

Great house to vacation in

Amazing!

Overall - a fantastic property with all the things we needed! The host was so helpful and answered our questions quickly. The pool was perfect for our group and had amazing views of the mountains! Our only complaint was that it was a little chilly, so we bundled up more than expected :) We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family getaway

This place was wonderful. We stayed here for 2 nights en route to family thanksgiving and it was the perfect spot for a late fall getaway from our dreary weather in seattle. The house was spotless and had absolutely everything we could have wanted or needed. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the outdoor space is just beautiful. My kids were very sad to leave and have been asking to go back since.
