Villaconcorde, es una casa del siglo XVII que ha tenido una renovación importante, respetando el encanto y la autenticidad de esta casa histórica, totalmente dedicada al alquiler de lugares de vacaciones, con otros 2 apartamentos más pequeños, "Amboise" y "Chenonceau".
Villaconcorde es el mejor lugar para alojarse en Amboise.
También somos propietarios de "Riverloire", una agencia especializada en operadores turísticos de lujo con sede en Amboise.

" Guau ... ¡No me di cuenta de que Villaconcorde estaba tan cerca del castillo! »¡Ese es el comentario habitual de nuestros huéspedes cuando llegan! De hecho, es difícil ponerlo en palabras, pero estás prácticamente en la puerta del Castillo Real, que solía estar conectado con la casa por un pasaje subterráneo hace 350 años ... No solo 'una vista del castillo' sino el sintiendo que perteneces a su historia.
El apartamento Chambord (6 pers) es ideal para una familia numerosa de 4 adultos + 2 niños. Los bebés son bienvenidos, ofrecemos equipos para bebés a pedido.

* Descripción de Chambord (110m2)
Una cómoda sala de estar que ofrece un techo alto,
3 dormitorios, 2 baños y una cocina totalmente equipada. Por supuesto, la comodidad no se ha dejado de lado, y disfrutará de cocinas y baños de última generación.

"Alquilamos el apartamento superior de dos niveles durante la última semana de diciembre y realmente disfrutamos nuestra estadía. El apartamento tiene mucho espacio, preciosas vistas al castillo de Amboise, está decorado y amueblado con gusto, cuenta con 3 bonitas habitaciones (con camas de buena calidad) y se encuentra en una calle tranquila a pocos pasos de las tiendas y restaurantes del castillo de Amboise. - Y estaba impecablemente limpio. Karine el dueño fue muy servicial durante toda nuestra estancia. Muy buena selección de vinos locales disponibles en el piso (para comprar). Y Amboise está idealmente ubicado para recorrer los castillos del Valle del Loira i. mi. No pasará demasiado tiempo en el automóvil viajando de un lado a otro. ¿Qué más pedir? ¡Perfecto! Lo recomendaría sin dudarlo ".

Amboise/Loire Valley Girls Trip

I traveled to Amboise with my sister and two family friends for a girls trip. We had an amazing stay at Villa Concorde. It was perfectly situated in Amboise with beautiful views of the chateau and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The location was also excellent and provided great access to other Loire Valley towns. The home was clean, comfortable, historic, and perfect for our stay. We all very much enjoyed the generosity and hospitality of our hosts. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful property, amazing location

Very pretty apartment with a great blend of unique traditional style but with modern kitchen and bathrooms and good wifi! Check in was great and Karine was extremely helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is wonderful - 3 minute walk to Chateau Royal D'Amboise and the main walking thoroughfare in Amboise.

Perfect spot in Amboise

This is the perfect place to stay in Amboise. It’s location is right on the river and across from the Château with a beautiful view of it at night. You can walk to it and all the restaurants right out the front door This apartment has everything you need for your stay. the hosts have also left a selection of wines to enjoy along with info on all the sights. Amazing location in Amboise right next to the Chateau

Great location, great property, great hosts! Everything you need to be comfortable has been considered. Quality bath towels, hand soap, paper towels, etc. You are literally right next to the castle! Just down the street from everything! Amboise is beautiful! The hosts proactively communicated everything we needed to know to ensure we had a great stay. They are the best of the best!

A must for anyone traveling to Amboise!

There should be a six start rating for this apartment and it’s owners. We felt so welcomed and taken care of well before we arrived on the doorstep. The entire team from owner to taxi service to tour guides were such gracious hosts. Had the apartment not been at the foot of the chateau I would still want to come back to experience it all again. But, it IS at the base of the chateau which makes it even better! Standing at the open window at night and looking at the stars over this historic structure is magic. I highly recommend giving yourself the opportunity to experience it for yourself!

Convenient Location in Amboise - lots of stairs

We stayed here for three nights in September. The location is great - back side of the castle just a block or so from the old town square and very close to the outdoor market on Fridays and Sundays. The building itself is VERY old, a little musty so if you have allergies, like me, come prepared with zyrtec or claritin etc. We were three adult couples, the upper loft area has very short ceilings (as advertised in the listing) and two bathrooms is a tad difficult for 6 adults to share but the downstairs two rooms that share a bath do have a separate room for the toilet. There is no dryer - just a small washer and the walls are thin - you can hear anything that happens in any other room. Location wise it can't be beat and the kitchen is well equipped.

Lovely location, second level best for shorter people

This is a wonderful historic feeling apartment with all the modern conveniences in a terrific location. Parking in the neighborhood was easy and free. Living space is lovely and clean. One thing to know is that the ceilings on the path to the upstairs bedroom and bath are quite low, as are the ceilings in that second bathroom. Once you get to the second bedroom, they ceilings aren't bad. That bedroom would not work for elderly, and is not easy for tall adults. Perfect for kids or spry adults. But two bedrooms on the main living level are very comfortable for tall folks.

Charming apartment with a fabulous location in beautiful Amboise.

After struggling to haul our luggage up two floors we reached our apartment. The apartment itself is charmingly decorated. The main level had two small bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. It also contained a shower/tub room and separate toilet room. Also on the main level was a large and well equipped kitchen, a dining area, and nice sized living area with small flat screen tv on the floor. The upper floor loft area with all its exposed roof beams was a challenge to navigate but was as advertised with a nice bed and a full bathroom with shower and toilet. We wouldn't advise the upper floor for anyone over 5 feet tall. It was very hot during our visit and the air conditioning was helpful in cooling the bedrooms. Not so much for the living area or the loft. We enjoyed our stay here, the location is really amazing, right next to the walls of the Chateau. It was also very quiet since the main road was on the other side of the building from our apartment. Great gelato and pastries are only two blocks away and the grocery was only a four block walk. We were also happy that parking was easy. We would be happy to come back here and hope to someday.

Best location in Amboise, Felt like royalty being so close to the castle

First, Karine is wonderful to work with! She always kept in touch and answered any questions we had. She had essentials in the kitchen ready to go for the first morning which is a nice touch when you’re tired from flying in from the US. She took the time to explain everything to us. We did request to switch to Chenonceau, which worked out better for us since it was just the two of us. She was very accommodating and patient with our complicated requests. Secondly, this location cannot be beat! You could almost touch the castle. The street the house is on, borders the castle. The village just less than city block away. The farmer’s market is no more 10 min away. Carrafour Market express, post office, atms all within 5 minutes. Great souvenir/gift shop that has castle related items were on the main drag. A young lady there spoke English. We also met a man whose wife works the biscuiterie on main street who was so very nice as well. We enjoyed the Bigot tea room and treats. Tons of restaurants! Everyone was so extremely nice! We got to see Da Vinci’s tomb at the Chateau Amboise and toured the castle itself. We got to see Clos du Lucé - Da Vinci’s home which is about a 15 min walk. Definitely you can see more castles like the famous Chenonceau by car as this is a great town in the middle of the Loire Valley. We loved the village Amboise which is so quaint, quiet, and where people are so nice. It’s very safe in Amboise. We also was able to score parking in front of the building when things opened up in the evening, but then again we are here off-season. The apartment Chenonceau itself was full of old-world charm, from its original hardwood floors, to its medieval flourishes, and hard wood paneling. Only the bathrooms and kitchen are modernized, which are as expected. It was cozy and comfortable. The windows we would open to let fresh air in and enjoy the sight of the castle. Seeing the lights on the castle at night was beautiful. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook. Nespresso is available and extra pods can be purchased at Carrafour. There is an ability to login into your Netflix account on the Smart TV which is a huge plus for English speakers. Karine thought through all the details including having extra plug converters. Wi-Fi was fast, had no issues. We really liked having 2 bathrooms even though there are two of us. Running out of space- loved it and want to come back Felt at home and miss it already.

A Great Place for Two Couples

What an excellent apartment for our stay in Amboise. The location could be better (literally right underneath the Chateau). Everything was new and clean, and the living room, which we rarely ever spend anytime in, was so comfortable that we made time to spend a few minutes there before getting the day started, or upon coming back from an exhausting day sight seeing. Karine was very helpful in pointing us to some local wineries. She's even got a binder on the table that lists dozens & dozens of places to visit, and also has a half dozen or so bottles of the local wines that you can purchase and drink on site (we tried that a couple times - and both were excellent). All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Lovely apartment at the foot of castle ramparts

We really enjoyed staying here, it was perfect for our family. Amboise is a beautiful town and within easy drives of a number of castles. The apartment is well equipped, and Karine & Thierry had their representatives ready to welcome us when we arrived. If you have mobility issues, be aware that the apartment is on the second floor and there is not an elevator. The third bedroom is in a loft (another flight of stairs) and has a roofline that requires you to bend as you go through to it. Parking is limited, but obtainable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

In the shadow of the chateau

This property had everything we wanted. It is an ideal jumping off point for visiting the chateaux of the Loire. It is a beautiful and spacious apartment a minute walk from the center of Amboise, but quiet. You look out the window and see the amazing chateau of Amboise rising above you. Karine is a wealth of knowledge and provided excellent dinner recommendations and made reservations for us. The temperature hit 105 when we were there. Despite having an apartment in the attic, the air conditioning units in the bedrooms and the fan in the living space made it comfortable inside. Overall a great experience.

Summer visit to Amboise

This property truly is stunning. One could not ask for a better location. The air conditioning helped cool the bedrooms and that was all that we needed, and was much appreciated after a stay in Paris with no air conditioning. The home has everything you need. Enjoy your stay.

Storybook house

This property was absolutely a dream. Thierry's and Karine, husband and wife owners were the nicest people one could meet. Karine met us at check-in time and showed us around and Thierry came at when we were leaving. This house could not have been better positioned, right across from a beautiful castle, Château d'Amboise, and very close to the restaurants, shops and the river. At nights, we enjoyed the beautiful view of the castle which was lit up with colorful lights. The house was immaculate, in respect to decoration, cleanliness, and comfort. Plenty of clean towels, wine available for purchase selected by Thierry, and some basic food in the kitchen and refrigerator. Parking was not always available and we had to park a couple of blocks away, but that is the charm of living in a small town. Overall, this was one of the best places I stayed during my travels.

Unusual and Charming

We were delighted to have stayed in Villa Concorde for part of our trip to France. The apartment was clean and extremely well located. The town itself is charming and the apartment is convenient to the chateaux. The apartment is in an historic section right across the street from the chateau and a convenient walk to restaurants and a lovely pastry shop. The two downstairs bedrooms share two half baths, one with a toilet and one with a shower. The upstairs bedroom has a full bathroom. Our 10 and 12-year-old girls stayed there. The upstairs is more suited to children as you must bend quite low to avoid hitting your head on the sloped ceiling. That being said, the apartment is stocked with everything you will need. The only problem we had was that we were there in August, which was very hot. There is a small air conditioning unit on the upper level but it was quite warm on the main floor.

Superb!

Relaxing, beautiful, comfortable! If you want an extremely pleasant experience, you have found the place to stay. After a fun day exploring Amboise and its environs, my grown family of five would return to this lovely retreat and have a great night's sleep. We loved this place!

My family stayed here for a long weekend in early June. It's a beautiful apartment, on the third floor of a 17th century building just across from the chateau in Amboise. Everything was clean, and the apartment had all of the amenities. We had a great time! The owner went out of her way to help us and even arranged for our travel to and from the train station. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful 'home-away-from-home!'

“We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Concorde May 19-26 2012. First, the location of this rental property is truly amazing. Directly across from Chateau Amboise on a very nice, quite residential street, ½ a block from the pedestrian-friendly shopping district of charming Amboise. Second, the owners (Karine and Thierry) we wonderful to work with. From the initial deposit stage several months before our actual trip, to the final check-out, everything was done with class and ran very smooth. Amboise turned out to be a wonderful spot to be for a week of exploring the Loire Valley. Lots of free parking, nice restaurants & shops, friendly residents, and a great weekend market along the river…what’s not to like? It was also nice to be able to drive into Tours for that ‘big city’ feel (only 25-minutes away). We stayed in unit 3 on the top floor of this magnificent ancient home. The finishes were very high-end and the unit was immaculately clean upon arrival. Beds were extremely comfortable and had nice linens. Having a full-sized American-style kitchen with full-size dishwasher was truly wonderful, along with two full bathrooms…as well all know very unheard of with most other European rentals. The addition of a washing machine and drying rack was also appreciated. Karine and Thierry also do tours and we did a wine tour and Amboise tour through their company. Both were very well-done and worth the money.”

Casle Land vacations

Our visit to the Loire Valley was very pleasant, and a great part of it was because of the great apartment at Villa Concorde. The location is outstanding, with an amazing view of Amboise Castle and very close to many other castles. We made day trips to visit most of the castles at the Loire Valley. Not one of them was disappointing!! The apartment is very clean, and very well equipped. In the same trip we stayed at apartments in Rome, Paris and Mt. St. Michel, and I can honestly tell you that Villa Concorde was by far the best. Very good value for your money. Philip The Woodlands TX

Karine and Thierry are originated from Amboise but spent a few years in London before returning to their home place.
They wanted to share their passion for the Loire Valley, and in 2002, they seized the opportunity to buy a 17th century townhouse in the most renowned street of Amboise, rue de la Concorde, directly facing the Royal Castle.
Karine is an interior designer and carefully renovated the House mixing tradition, charm and authenticity, without any compromise on comfort and equipment.
Thierry is the owner and manager of a Travel Agency, specialized in organizing “a la carte” tours in the Loire Valley.

Because of its prime location, Air conditioning, VillaConcorde will allow you to just walk to some of the main attractions such as the Château Amboise (of course !) but also Clos Lucé, the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci, and many other places... You will also appreciate the walking distance to the pedestrian streets, excellent restaurants, numerous cafés, boutiques and the local products market.
