Enjoy a peaceful getaway 1.5 hrs from Chicago, 45 minutes from Milwaukee and minutes from Lake Geneva/Big Foot Beach State Park/Fontana Beach/Twin Lakes/Powers Lake/Lake Como/ Silver Lake. Alpine Valley/Grand Geneva and Wilmot Mountain Ski areas. We are directly located on the kenosha county snowmobile trails. Convenient location for numerous events this area brings in. Plenty of Boat parking, full kitchen, smoker and gas grill. Big yard with firepit. Large assortment of board games, books and musical instruments. Enjoy a game of pool or play some cards. Great for family gatherings or large groups for special events. A wonderful property to decompress, rejuvenate and have some fun!

Family 4th

Had my wife’s family in from Pennsylvania for the holiday weekend. They loved the house! Loved the deck and peacocks! Sent us videos of them at night playing the musical instruments and singing. Thank you Matt for making it that much more memorable.

Another relaxing vacation with peace, quiet & farm animals!

This was our 2nd stay at Matt’s property and it was great again and so relaxing away from it all. The owners are so helpful when needs arise and go above and beyond to help make sure everything is great for your stay. The house has everything you need and nice areas to enjoy nature and farm sounds. We absolutely loved meeting the beautiful peacocks, watching the sheep and farm animals, and the neighbors are friendly too. Highly recommend!

Home base for a group stay.

We had a large group with a lot of teens. The home fit us all comfortably. The hosts were attentive. We had a power outage from a storm and they ran out to get us lanterns. They also took the kids on a tour of their farm to meet their sheep and peacocks. Their turkey, Tom, came to visit us a few times. :)

The property was exactly as it was posted and provided several amenities. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and concise. The property brought warmth to my weekend stay and there was plenty of information passed from the owners about the surrounding area and shopping center nearby. I’d stay again at this location

Meet our Family Gathering Needs

We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving. The home met our needs for the function. It was described accurately and well-appointed. Nice touch having a basket of necessities in the bathroom for anything forgotten. Appreciate this detail. One thing to note is that walking across the upper floor is very noticeable to those sleeping in the basement.

Quietly and comfy

This is a cute ranch home that’s a quick drive to Lake Geneva. All the things you might need are taken care of. The home is very clean and cozy. It was so relaxing to be near Lake Geneva but not in it. We ended up spending a lot of quality time hanging out on the property and even explored some great places in Burlington.

Awesome place

They have everything you need, from shampoo or coffee to corn hole and pool. We were very comfortable. My grand daughter loved the swing in the back yard.

Peaceful and private with everything you need

Very clean and beautifully updated property that is just around the corner from everything. Owners have everything you need for a relaxing get away, including fun touches like a piano, games, and even a pool table. Excellent communication with the owners and they were always available if we needed anything. We enjoyed exploring the local area and found good restaurants, parks and nature areas to explore. This location is just minutes from the downtown Lake Geneva area with all of its shops and attractions. Relaxing on the peaceful deck was one of our favorite things to do. It was fun to hear the farm animals in the distance and to listen to all of the birds. We even watched little hummingbirds build a nest in a tree right by the deck! Such a peaceful vacation and we would definitely rent from them again.
