This property offers 75 feet of waterfront on a wide canal with beautiful sunset views over the state park wetlands, and no thru traffic. Just a few blocks from the life-guarded beach, this cottage is ready to be enjoyed for your beach vacation. Bring your own kayak and launch right off the back yard! The large screened porch that overlooks the canal offers a panoramic view of the water and will easily become your favorite spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening sunsets. This home sleeps 6 people(2 queens, 1 bunk bed) bed and bath linens are not provided.
We allow (with a paid pet fee) one dog under 20 pounds.

The backyard and screened in porch facing the canal are the star attractions at this rental! We spent a good amount of time watching the boats, paddleboarders, and kayakers go by, as well as the wildlife. There are ducks, geese, and heron that frequent the canal and its surroundings. The beaches are very clean. The house was pet-friendly as well, so our dogs enjoyed our vacation along with us. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!

Great location, simple house

We had a fun time. The house is not fancy and a bit older, but served our needs. I brought my paddle board and enjoyed the wetlands. Enjoyed the screened porch a lot. Parking pass was great for hauling our stuff to the beach!

Excellent stay

I normally don’t do reviews but I just needed to say that this is a beautiful, clean property. The screened in porch overlooking the channel is a really nice bonus. I have younger kids, so they enjoyed looking at the jellyfish in the morning and watching the birds and boats go by throughout the day. Location is great, 2 min drive to the beach and the parking pass was a big plus. Also easy drives to restaurants and other activities. The owner was great! Extremely quick communication and very accommodating.Made great suggestions and was always available. Could not say enough good things. Would highly recommend!

Quiet & Relaxing

Truly a gem!!! Loved being able to watch the boats and wildlife from the back porch! We’d love to come back again. Everyone in the neighborhood is very friendly! Lots of wonderful places to walk.

Quick trip..

We came with our dog and it was perfect. So close to everything yet super quiet neighborhood that we liked walking the dog in. We kayaked and fished the canal and loved it. inbcanal

The size of the space was fine for our family of 4- a little far to walk to beach but the parking pass made it super easy to park literally right next to the beach entrance. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house could definitely be updated; dishes in the drawer were filthy- we had to run them in the dishwasher. There were 6 lights that needed new lightbulbs but when we contacted owner she responded somewhat promptly.

Just Perfect

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was the perfect size for our family of five and we loved sitting on the back porch, it is so peaceful and relaxing, we could not get enough of it. The parking pass came in very handy and my boys loved that they could easily walk home from the beach and not have to wait for Mom and Dad. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer Family Getaway

Overall this was the perfect little beach cottage for our family of 4! We had plenty of space (beds, bathrooms, etc). We enjoyed the view of the canal and the screen porch! Porch has a table and plenty of chairs for a family. Very beautiful and tranquil neighborhood. Everyone was super friendly. Easy drive and parking at the beach. South Bethany beaches are less crowded, which is nice. Upgrades- master bed frame is very squeaky if you’re a light sleeper. Uneven/ dipped flooring in the master bathroom and one guest room. Possibly consider a fan for the porch. Gets hot in the sun!

Great location

We loved being in the house, a perfect size for 5 of us, and our dog. We have been vacationing in Bethany for 52 years, and this was the first time we brought our dog. We contacted the owner to see if we could check in early, and she was very nice, and accommodating. We brought our fishing poles, and enjoyed watching boater’s, paddle boarders, and kayakers going by. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice cute house for a small family

We enjoyed staying at this lovely house. We liked the screened deck a lot. House is very conveniently located for seeing places like Assateague Island , Fenwick Island, Ocean city Maryland and a lot of other beaches like Rehobot Beach and Bethany beaches.. House has a nice driveway parking. Don’t forget to bring your towels and sheets.

Great location!

This house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We enjoyed sitting out behind the house overlooking the canal in the evening. Check-in was simple, and the owner was helpful and very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely say here again,

Great location!

Great little pet friendly rental. We enjoyed our stay very much and watching boats and wildlife on the canal. The owners became aware of an a/c problem the day of our arrival and went out of their way to install two room units before we checked in. They were very responsive. Appreciated having hand soap, dishwashing and laundry detergents all available.

Perfect little beach house

We loved everything about this house, from the screened-in back porch on the canal to the comfy living room furniture (we loved the reclining chairs!). This house is cozy, clean and convenient, with a great outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. We appreciated the parking pass to make beach access easy as well as the recommendations for things to do. We'll be back next summer!

Great location

Loved the location - easy walk to the beach and great view of the canals from the porch. There is plenty of room for a family of four. If you have kids that are sensitive to morning sunlight you should pack some blackout curtains.

loved the screened in porch!!! we gathered there every night it just needs a small table to eat and some additional updated seating kitchen and bathroom need carpets! all in all great location. great little house. perfect for our group!!!!!

Amazing Location

The location of this cute cottage, made our family vacation. The screened in porch gave us hours of card playing fun, while the grassy backyard was ideal for playing corn hole. We were able to put our kayak in the canal and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The resident parking pass, made parking close to the beach very convenient.

Cute place and a great price!

The place is cute and in a great location. Far roomier and homier than a hotel in Dewey or Fenwick. This couldn't have been more convenient to our friends, family and the beaches of Bethany. Highly recommend.

South Bethany Charmer

Property is located in a great location in South Bethany right on the canal. Property is far off of Rt 1 so you can't hear any traffic. House was clean & comfy. House was everything we needed in a rental without going over the top. Hosts were great communicators, We would come back again.
