Cozy canal home w pool, 0.6 miles to beach. Boat Dock, 4BR, 2BA+outdoor shower

Canal Haven - Quiet beach cottage with pool. Generous outdoor living areas, dock, water toys and 4 bicycles. Ocean Isle Beachfront is a 0.6 mile walk, bike or car ride from home. Parking spaces available at beach access. Home is well stocked with cooking supplies a charcoal grill and outdoor seating on all three decks.

After a day at the beach return to your cottage and be refreshed in the outdoor shower and pool. Catch some crabs off the dock and have your evening barbecue or take a bike ride to the 5 restaurants within 1.5 miles of home. An outdoor bar with a 65" tv was added in 2024.

Bring your boat (max 23 feet) to tie up to the dock, the ramp is less than two miles away by car and water. (Boat lift is not available)

Home has 2 full bathrooms plus an outdoor shower. Bath towels are included, linens can be ordered at an additional cost. Home has 4BR (2K, 2Q) + a loft with a queen bed.

Great stay. We enjoyed our visit to Ocean Isle and the house was perfect for us. Caught crabs off the dock and enjoyed the pool when were not at the beach.

It was the best stay. We were tucked away from the chaos of 4th of July week, but close enough to everything going on. Greg, was a great host, and we felt comfortable!

Family Vacation

The whole family enjoyed our stay at Greg's house! We particularly enjoyed the outside space, pool, and dock. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the house is very clean. We would choose to stay again!

Great end of summer getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Home is lovely. Kids loved fishing off the dock, swimming and bike riding.

Family July 4th trip

We had a blast! We loved the house and had everything we needed. We had the most perfect view off the balcony out back of the fireworks! The pool was perfect and fishing was great!

Beautiful. Comfortable. Relaxing

We had the best time. It was so relaxing being on the canal and sitting on the porch. The owner is wonderful to work with and so responsive when we had questions. The pool was refreshing and so very clean. We will definitely rent this property again.

Wonderful house, location, and amenities!

The owner has gone above and beyond to make sure this was a perfect getaway! The house/kitchen has everything one could possibly need. There are pool toys, ocean toys, games, books, blankets, you name it! Communication was amazing! 100% recommend, and we can’t wait to return! Location is also perfect!

Birthday Week

Conveniently located if you have a boat, which we do! Older house, but has some updates. Very clean and fully stocked kitchen. Some of the bedding could use replacing due to wear and tear and no bathroom off the master. Small house and you can hear everything, but there are box fans in each room to help with that. One TV in the family room, which I liked. But some in my group missed having a TV in their bedroom. Owner was very responsive with questions.

Making Lemonade out of Lemons

Unfortunately, the very week that we booked our stay turned out to be the week that hurricane Debby decided to arrive as well. We enjoyed 7 full days of blinding rain, flooding and winds. All of that being said......We all had a blast! Greg is an awesome owner and communicator and made every effort to help us navigate the decision to stay or leave?? We decided to be brave and "ride it out". We are all so glad we did. The house is so well equipped that we swam in the pool in the rain, fished off of the dock, played lots of games and simply had fun being together. Everyone loved the house, the location and the overall happy vibe. We most certainly will return again when hopefully the sun will follow us. This property and the owner both far exceeded our expectations.

Always amazing!

This is our second year returning to this home. We absolutely love nearly everything about it. I don’t want to say anything negative at all but I always want to be honest. Greg is the most AMAZING and genuine owner we have ever dealt with! He addresses things promptly and communicates very quickly. If I had to list things for improvement I would say that both years we have had some type of issue with AC functioning the left side of the house (king size rooms). Last year he had someone out to replace the motor with in hours. It worked great the rest of the stay. This year however when Greg suggested we turn it to 69 which contract says keep at 72, it did effectively remain a great temperature so I suggest turning down at night to avoid hot rooms. I think finding a more reliable yard service would be helpful as both years yard/weeds in the back were tall and we enjoy playing cornhole ect. It’s not a lack of the owner again I think it’s the yard company. I can only speak for the king bed on the back side of the property, it could use a mattress pad to make it softer. If you enjoy a firm bed there would be no issues. I prefer softer mattress as I have a bad back. Lastly, a ladder at the bay dock to get in and out for the kids using paddles boards or swimming would be helpful. With all that being said none of these issues would make me not stay here. We already have next year booked and will continue to stay here year after year. Thanks Greg for being such a great host!
