Completely updated, Ground-Level 3/3.5 Home w/ Den and plenty of room for parking, boat trailers, and more. Whether your looking for world-class fishing, shelling, beautiful beaches, amazing sunsets or just a cruise on the water, our home is perfectly positioned for easy boat-access to Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound, World-Famous Boca Grande Pass, and the white sand beaches of Cayo Costa, Upper Captiva, Captiva & Sanibel. Mix up your favorite cocktail & enjoy our amazing private screened pool & patio, gaze at Sunset Skylines, stare at the stars at night, fish on the Bokeelia Fishing Pier just a bike-ride away, visit an Art Gallery, and eat at some amazing eateries on the Island!

The home is perfectly set up for two couples or families to have their own private space. Guest Suite features a full kitchen: stove, microwave, fridge, utensils, plates, cups, and a dining table for 4.

We also have (2) Kayaks, (2) Paddle Boards and (2) Bikes to use at your leisure. 3 wet slips are included for no more than 3 boats during your stay.
Optional Rentals Include: (2) E-Bikes, 6 Person Golf Cart, Boat Lift & Pool Heater (Ask for more details).

Security Camera Details: Ring Door Bell at Entry Door, Cameras positioned to see the backyard area, boat lift, and side gate. Interior of Home & Pool Area are excluded from camera views.

This property was great. So well taken care of and so many great amenities. We had a blast with pool volleyball and had everything we needed for an awesome week in a home away from home. The property owners were great and very easy to work with as well and super helpful and responsive. This was a 10/10 for sure.

Outstanding! Spectacular property and location...we will be back!We've been coming to this area (Bokeelia) for over 25 years - as renters, then property owners and now back to renters. This is an exceptional property inside and out - very clean and well appointed. Owners very responsive for questions - great location if you are bringing a boat and want a quiet place for a home base. Everything was perfect at this home - we will definitely be back!

Great time in Bokeelia at Barrancas Barnacle

Barrancas Barnacle was perfect! The owners were fantastic and easy to work with. Plenty of boat dockage, beautifully landscaped, and the house was thoughtfully set up. The pool was a great bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. A true gem in Bokeelia—highly recommend!

Beautiful property!

The home is beautiful and sits on a huge lot that is perfect for entertaining inside and outside! We were greeted by manatees at the dock and the best hosts we’ve ever dealt with! They truly care about their guests having the best vacation experience possible. We can’t wait to stay again next year!

Great family place!

We like staying at a beautiful place that is somewhat distant from neighbors and private. This was the perfect place for us! We don’t want to hush the grandchildren while laughing and playing pool. Whether entertaining adult relatives fishing or grandchildren playing in the pool or boating to the beaches this place was great for that. The owners are very gracious hosts that made sure we felt at home during our stay. This house was everything that we expected and more. It is definitely our #1 VRBO place.

House was perfectly put together and everything was top notch. The yard is absolutely huge and amazing. Parking for anything you wanted to bring. Super boater friendly, very quiet, nice place to chill, and or do whatever you want to.

Amazing Stay!

The Barrancas Barnacle was perfect. We went to Bokeelia for a family boating staycation. The property easily accommodated our family of 5 plus 2 additional adults in the 2nd master suite. Location for boating is great; the boat ramp is down the street and there was plenty of room to park truck and trailer. It was a short boat ride to Cayo Costa State Park and local waterfront restaurants including Cabbage Key. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. Beautiful property, super clean and very comfortable. Will definitely visit again!

beautiful getaway

We really loved our stay at the Barrancas Barnacle. It easily fit our family of 6 plus children and there was not one thing we could think of that the host left out. The home was meticulous and spacious with plenty of room for all of our vehicles. The living room was such a comfortable hang out place for our large family and the furniture was all so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! We ended up leaving a significant amount of cash behind and the owners were so sweet to retrieve it for us and send us a check. We look forward to our next trip to Bokeelia!

Great property & best hosts ever!

We had a great week at The Barnacle in late March 2024 with our 4 adult kids. Megan and Glen are probably the best hosts we've had using VRBO over the past 10 years. They truly want their guests to have an awesome stay at their lovely home and go out of their way to make that happen. The house must be newly remodeled as all the furnishings and appliances are brand new and of great quality. The entire house is well-appointed and every room has everything you need to enjoy your stay from the bedrooms to the laundry, even the pool area has special little touches. The property is very large and private and in a fantastic location - right on the canal for boats and launching the kayaks and SUPs which we used every day to explore the back bays of Jug Creek. Two marinas are within walking distance from the house and afford very easy boat rentals and charter fishing. The Bokeelia area is laid back but has ample restaurants and quiet streets for walking/biking. We look forward to coming back! Can't say enough good things about Megan and Glen and their fantastic property!
