Great view but condo needs updating

The view was awesome and we enjoyed being beach front. The condo is old and needs updates in many areas that would make it a more comfortable stay. The condo was overall clean but the furniture is old and it can only look so clean. The main coach was dirty and needs steam cleaning. Overall a good stay.

It had very small bathrooms and living room furniture was worn and dirty I didn’t realize how dated it was. Also there was only 2 outside balcony chairs for a condo for 6 . They put 2 new tvs in the bedrooms when we got there but they were small 32inch . It needs a complete makeover.

Great complex, but the unit left much to be desired.

This is an amazing condominium complex to stay in. The guest service is second to none! The unit that we stayed in, however, was very outdated. The tile floors looked to be nearly original, and unfortunately, so were the furnishings. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was ancient. The box springs were terribly worn, and every slat could be felt through the old spring mattress. I came on vacation to get rest and relaxation. That’s hard to do when the mattress and box springs are so incredibly uncomfortable. Also, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was noisy. The bearings were obviously worn out. I had to use the vent fan in the bathroom to drown out the noise from the fan. I didn’t sleep well on this week long trip to the beach. The appliances were outdated as well. The fridge wouldn’t dispense ice, and the ice tray wouldn’t release from the ice maker. The front door doesn’t seal well, but the ac could still keep up, so this was a moot point. The balcony was tiny, but had a great view. I rented this unit for the balcony and the views. The furnishings were outdated as well, and the small sectional had multiple stains and smelled of urine. We found a dog bone in one of the living room chairs, which was odd, since there were no pets allowed in the rental. There was a large, fake plant in the living area that took up a lot of room. I feel like some more modern furnishings could have made a world of difference. Like I stated before, this trip was all about rest and relaxation, none of which was possible in this particular unit. The location was spectacular. The staff was incredibly nice. I know that the unit’s overall condition is beyond the control of the staff. Everything is nearby and convenient. I would definitely stay here again, just not in this unit. These are easy fixes, the owners just need to take the time and money to fix it.

Condo needs updated and deep cleaned

The condo furniture was dirty. The furniture on the balcony was outdated and uncomfortable and had no cushions. The condo smelled bad like mildew all week long. The rug in the living room was nasty and dirty. I would definitely say it needs to be updated and cleaned.

Great ocean views

We loved this top floor condo—the views of the beach and ocean were unsurpassed. From our up high vantage point, we could see the marine life easily and were able to enjoy watching sea turtles, rays, dolphins, sharks and various schools of fish. The space itself was great. While not luxurious by any means, it was nicely put together and a comfortable place for us to stay. The kitchen included everything we needed—we ate light meals and lots of snacks, but no cooking. Nobody ran out of hot water in the shower and having a washer/dryer was gold! We also appreciated the location that gave easy access to shops and eateries without having to take our car. The teens particularly loved grabbing a bike and heading off to eat or shop. We will attempt to stay here next time we head to FL.

Honest review of long-time guest

Been staying at OSP for many years and all the renovations are wonderful. This condo, however, was the most dated we’ve ever stayed in. It was comfortable but all the furnishings are tired and dirty. The fridge needs to be changed as the door delivers ice on the outside and it had mold. We only used ice from the top not the door. Kitchen appliances are useable but extremely old and needing an upgrade as well. Only one knife so need some updated utensils and dishes too. None of these suggestions were a hindrance to a great vacation, just an observation based on many, many years of staying here.
