Situado en primera línea de sonido Albemarle enclavado en la tranquila comunidad de Colington puerto, este acogedor y linda casa invita a venir y relajarse.
Traiga su moto de agua o kayaks y lanzar directamente desde la rampa del barco de la comunidad y luego amarrar en la zona de atraque en frente de su casa de vacaciones. Pase el día chapoteando en la piscina comunitaria o simplemente disfrutar del sol en las cubiertas con un buen libro.

Sentarse en su terraza y ver el hermoso sonido vienen a la vida y al final de sus días de vacaciones disfrutando de una magnífica puesta de sol en el agua.

Si bien la pesca, pesca de cangrejos o kayak desde el frente de agua de su miembro de la familia de cuatro patas apreciarán el patio cercado.

Everyone at Carolina Shores was so helpful leading up to our stay, which made everything easy from the start.The house is beautiful, very clean, thoughtfully designed, and comfortably furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the water pressure was amazing!We spent so much time on the dock with our kids - fishing, reading, and even getting splashed on the windier days. We also loved the Colington pool and the little beach on the Sound, which is always one of our favorite spots.We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back!

There are 2 things that were not accurate on the listing. There is an extended dock with a boat lift with a large pontoon boat on it that made it very difficult to dock our boat. This was not in any of the photos so those need to be updated. The photos also showed a fire pit in the back yard, and there was not one there when we arrived. We thought about bringing some firewood, glad we didn't or I would have been even more upset!Other than those things (which the boat dock was a very big issue) the house and location were very nice. The moring we were checking out, the HVAC vent in the ceiling started dripping on the upstairs loft floor and we had to call the host and let them know. We put down alot of the towels and trash cans to catch the water until the repairman could arrive, so we couldn't place those in the used linen tub. I informed the host of this as we were checking out so they wouldn't charge us for "extra cleaning" for not placing all the towels in the container provided. The house is very nice and the view is fantastic. The most amazing sunsets!!

Property is located in a perfect location. Lots of Sunsets and beautiful mornings looking at the water, sailboats and natural beauty of Carolina sky. The House is as beautiful and practical. The owners were very thoughtful of their visitors needs. Outstanding stay

Peace on the Sound in the Middle of the Outer Banks

Loved the fact that the owners welcomed our well behaved dogs and had an ideal back yard for them. Beautiful views, peaceful and quiet location, with nearby access to the hustle and bustle that is Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, and Nags Head. Back Deck was heavenly. Also appreciated that the entry was by a ramp instead of stairs -- made it much easier to get suitcases etc in and out of the home.

The Yard!!!

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the Irish River. The fenced yard was amazing. The sunsets were incredible. Called the management company on the second day to ask how to access the cable. No return call. When I called back two days later the person I spoke with was wonderful and resolved the issue quickly. Would definitely go back!

Was great for what we needed!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was just what we needed. The layout of the house was perfect, at least one bedroom and bath on each floor. The beds were comfortable. The view and sunsets were stunning. Having a fenced yard where we could relax with our dogs made this the perfect vacation. The guys were able to fish and crab off the pier which was an added bonus. The only negative was the inside of the kitchen cabinets could use some new shelf paper and cleaning and a couple of the skillets replaced. Also, the grill could use replacing. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in the home this is our second year renting this home . There are only a few issues. The lighting is a little confusing as there are multiple switches on multiple walls and no clear description of what each one does, so it’s kind of a turn on off to see what happens, but this was in no way an issue with our enjoyment of the house. The second issue was the loft the bed was rock hard found.I was sleeping on the downstairs couch more than the bed because of how hard it was this was a major issue as the bed was the same as last year. But we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house as the views front back deck are amazing.

Unbeilvable Sunsets

The location is a bit far from the beach but if you love to crab and fish this home is for you. We dropped our kayaks in at the community launch and enjoyed the pool as well. There is a ramp on the side of the house but it is not easily navigated with a wheelchair. We made it work for my mom who has limited mobility...The pool is a 10 minute drive from the house as there is only one road around the community.We cooked almost ever meal in the house and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. We did purchase a frying pan as the ones they had were not great for making eggs. Really everything was well maintained and the upgrades were well done. I didn't want to leave.Oh, did mention the sunsets? Each evening they just kept getting more beautiful!!

Nice property with beautiful view. There is a fence, making it good for small children and pets. Master bedroom is a loft without a door, which makes privacy a problem. We also had problems with heat in the main living area In the afternoon due to the whole back wall being west-facing windows. Some blinds would be helpful.

Happy about our stay

The property was as advertised. It was neat, clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and recommend it for others. A warning however; the picture of the ramp to the front door is misleading. It is quite steep. It worked OK for us b/c we had some young folks to help. But a group of only older people relying on the ramp would have a problem.

A slice of Sound Serenity

Our vacation was extremely lovely. The big floor to ceiling windows were a phenomenal surprise. How wonderful to wake up and see that beautiful water from my pillow. It was great for young adults as my son and his friend enjoyed walking the neighborhood and sitting out on the water deck watching the sound. All we needed were some kayaks or paddle boards! Our dogs were also extremely grateful for the fence and the beautiful view and the pet friendly home. Keyless entry would be a wonderful addition given that the keys need to be taken back out to the office at check out which can get in the way if you want to go explore Outer Banks more before you head out. We had a lovely time and felt very comfortable. Thank you!

Beautiful sound front relaxation

This is a great place! I loved walking in the door to a great view and fresh smell, as there was no mustiness at all. The kitchen was very well supplied. The king mattress was quite firm but supportive and my usually sensitive hips and backs were happy. The decor throughout was cheerful and comfortable. There is a blu ray player but no DVDs that I could find. Loved the fenced backyard for the doggy. Loved the deck (fantastic sunsets) and also the swinging bench below the deck. It is a bit of a drive to get out to the main road but we didn’t mind. I would stay here again!
