Our group had a wonderful time staying in this property. It had everything. The property is beautiful. There was not anything that could have made our stay any better. The property was clean. The kitchen had every gadget we would need. The outdoor setting on the river was spectacular.

David is a great host, responsive & accommodating. & very helpful. The house & location is beautiful. The kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of beach towels are provided & there is a nice laundry roomThere are many games & outdoors activities. Pickleball, volleyball, corn hole, a trampoline, bikes plus kayaks & paddle boards to name a few. David also provided us information for a chef, a fishing guide & boat rental company. All were very good.We especially liked that we could stay at the house & have plenty of things for everyone to do.We highly recommend.

Beyond amazing! The pictures do not do justice to how incredibly beautiful this property is.The hosts were incredible. There are even chickens and a darling chicken coop that you can get all of your eggs for breakfast from!Honestly, I cannot say enough about this property! Highly, highly recommend! Just fabulous!!

This property is a spectacular destination property. There is so much available to do that families of all ages would have no need to leave. We celebrated a milestone anniversary with our grown children and their families. That includes 14 people, ages 5 mos. to 65. Everyone had a large room and their own bath, such a bonus! Even with some less than ideal weather, we had a fabulous stay. David and Lisa are wonderful hosts. We felt welcomed and invited to use the property to its fullest. They have stocked the home perfectly for large groups, overlooking nothing. This home is very grand, but warm and comfortable in every way. We would all love to stay here every year.

Our family gathered to celebrate two 80th birthdays. The youngest among us were 1 and 3, 6 were in their twenties and 4 in their 50's. This house truly had someone (actually MANY things) for everyone. We needed more than our 5 days to enjoy it all. If you stay here you will enjoy a really bespoke rental experience as the hosts are so intentional about making your stay perfect. Go ahead and reserve even if it seems "splurgy." You will not regret it!

The house was beautiful & well appointed, extremely spacious, & stocked with everything you could want — great kitchen setup, ample seating, very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, 2 washer/dryers, tons of games, & excellent outdoor seating. Perfect for our large group — very adult & kid friendly. The hosts were fantastic & communicated well. They went above & beyond with sleeping arrangements to accommodate our group & connected us with a personal shopper to stock the house, which made things so much easier. We were unsure about being upriver vs on the lake, but it was ideal — great for water sports, less crowded, & calm when the lake got windy. The neighborhood was great for morning walks, the large grass area was perfect for kids, & the toddler friendly extras made things easier on the adults. The beach had a gentle slope with no drop offs, & we loved the dock, kayaks, paddle board, & giant lily pad. For boaters: It’s about 20–25 minutes to reach the lake, with a one mile no wake zone. You can boat to Le Peep Café & La Terraza in 10–15 minutes. The dock accommodated our pontoon rental fine. At the host recommendation, we used CDA Pontoons & had a beautiful boat with no issues. Proximity to town was excellent — 10–15 minutes to the nearest supermarket, etc. A mama moose & 2 calves visited the last few days — such a treat! Beautiful home, fantastic hosts, perfect for families, great river location, excellent for boating. Zero complaints — we’d absolutely stay here again!

Heaven in Post Falls

Incredible property, beautiful home, fantastic location, awesome owners, great support staff. We have been renting for years, this by far was the best experience and lakefront home ever.

Dave was the most responsive host we have used in the 5 years of our family vacation for 13 people. Plenty of space, games, and water toys. The grill was undersized for our group and the kitchen stove vent did not work. Overall rating 4. We would rent again

As we discussed, the grill offers both a gas and a smoker side that can be used at the same time for larger meals, and I was more than happy to offer to bring over an additional BBQ. I have taken your suggestion and brought the additional grill onsite so that it is immediately available for larger families. I’m also grateful for your patience with the kitchen vent situation. While we optimistically anticipated that it would be resolved while you were here, because the vent is a custom, down draft retractable unit, the mechanic was unable to identify a source for replacing the malfunctioning part and a new unit had to be ordered which will be installed shortly. We’re proud to have received over 70 five-star reviews and remain fully committed to delivering exceptional stays for every guest. Amazing Family Vacation

The host David was a amazing, and a pleasure to deal with very attentive and every detail of the home exceeded expectations. The home was amazing, has every amenity one could want. From an amazing waterfront lot, fresh eggs from chickens daily, Volleyball, Pickleball, Pool Table, Basketball and more.. Our family is already looking into next year!!

Great spot for a family gathering

There were 13 in our party -- ranging 9 to 80. There was plenty to do for all of us. We rented a boat from the host (David) and spent a great deal of time on it, but we also made use of all the other amenities/activities/games. Never bored and plenty of space for us to get a little quiet time away from the group when needed.

Perfect Vacation!

Every year we take a trip with our forever friends and their families. This year was our first trip to Idaho and it did not disappoint! David’s home in Post Falls is absolutely fabulous, it was the perfect spot for our group. The home has everything you could possibly need, including several indoor and outdoor activities. Kayak, paddle boards, boat, volleyball, trampoline, swing set, ping pong, pool table, foosball, basketball, pickle ball, etc.

It was wonderful having Laurie and her forever friends and their families. They just booked for June 2022 and we are looking forward to their return visit. I truly enjoy the many families like Laurie's, who create memories at our waterfront home. We had one returning guest this summer who told me they all call our home the "engagement home" because back in 2014, their son-in-law proposed to their daughter under our arbor by the water. Over 60% of our reservations now come from returning guests. Thank you Laurie for sharing your summer with us.

According to my adult kids, this is one of the BEST places we have ever stayed in the past 20 years we have been renting from VRBO. Describing it as amazing is such an understatement. This property is gorgeous both inside the house and its surrounding area (right on the river). It is truly one of the most luxurious places we have stayed. And the owner is very generous with basic items we need (soap, shampoo, paper towels, bath towels, beach towels, etc). And the activities it provides (canoes, volleyball court, trampoline, basketball court, pickleball court, pool table, ping pong table, golf frisbee, croquet, etc.) made our kids never to want to leave the house. The kitchen is fully stocked and the three types of coffee machines WITH available types of coffees, were a ridiculous surprise. We hope to be back every summer to stay here. I can’t imagine any other place coming close to how awesome this property is. And the owners are professional and very easy to work with. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere as you will not find a better property.

Family getaway

We stayed at this beautiful home for a week with my wife’s siblings, their spouses and parents. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere on the Spokane River. Fishing from the dock was a big hit with this group, and plenty of small mouth bass were caught turning the week. There are a ton of activities set up by the host for families to enjoy, our group enjoyed the slower pace and beautiful setting as a base to explore Coeur D’Alene. Beds were comfortable, brand new linens and towels, kitchen well equipped. Biggest enjoyment for my wife and her sister was harvesting the fresh eggs from the chicken coop everyday. What a hoot. Host was gracious to bring in a new BBQ and smoker the second day after we discovered a problem with the existing BBQ. What great service! We made good use of both. Highly recommended.

All around perfection!!!

This vacation home is an oasis! The lakefront is breathtaking but then add the trampoline, playground, volleyball, disc golf etc. you never want to leave. David has thought of everything, bikes, soda machine, ice-machine (which came in handy when filling the provided ice chest for the boat), all the streaming platforms for movies, the list goes on... there is even fresh chick and duck eggs on property!! David had impeccable communication with us from start to finish, he was at our beck and call. David even put our family in touch with Chef Erin, which Erin cooked three-four-course FROM SCRATCH meals for us during our stay!! The kitchen was fully stocked with paper towels, paper goods for eating outside, cleaning supplies etc. The beds were comfy with clean linens and plenty of fluffy bath towels. There are TWO washer and dryers, one set on each floor, which came in handy while traveling for a week with children. We will definitely be back!

Riverside Retreat: A Fourth of July Paradise!

Our family of 11 couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway this Fourth of July! This stunning house rental on the Spokane River was an absolute gem, catering to every age and interest in our group. The property itself was spacious and well-appointed, easily accommodating our large family without ever feeling cramped. But it was the outdoor amenities that truly set this place apart. The range of activities kept everyone entertained from dawn till dusk. We had intense volleyball matches, competitive pickleball games, and ping pong tournaments that brought out our family's playful rivalries. The frisbee golf course on the property was a delightful surprise, offering a fun challenge for both beginners and seasoned players. And let's not forget the gutterball setup – it quickly became a favorite evening pastime, with lots of laughter echoing across the river. Speaking of the river, the fishing was phenomenal! We caught an incredible 292 smallmouth bass right off the pier. It was a fisherman's dream come true and created lasting memories for both the avid anglers and novices in our group. The house's location right on the river provided breathtaking views and a sense of serenity, while still offering easy access to all the activities we could want. Watching the fireworks reflect off the water on the Fourth was truly magical. This rental wasn't just a house; it was the backdrop for a perfect family vacation.

Best VRBO stay ever

This house gets my strongest recommendation! Everything -- from location to communication to accommodations -- was our best VRBO experience ever! Our group of grandparents, parents, and teens/tweens was accommodated beautifully. The lakefront location (with a dock where you can tie up a rented boat) made for endless fun, and there are so many outdoor games and toys available. The hosts are so lovely and easy to work with -- perfect pre-trip communication, smooth and easy arrival and departure, and available for questions mid-trip. They made fresh produce/berries from their garden available to us and we ate fresh eggs from the chickens every morning! I've never rented a house that was more fully stocked -- especially the kitchen. Every tool, gadget, and appliance we had in our own homes is available. We're a family of semi-serious amateur cooks and loved the kitchen. The whole house is gorgeously appointed. The many beds are comfortable, the many bathrooms were sparkling, everything worked, from the laundry to the air conditioning. Sometimes when you rent a home, you feel like the owners are reluctantly hosting you - there are locked doors everywhere, no kitchen basics like olive oil or salt, and 2 extra rolls of toilet paper available. This is the exact opposite - you can use the closets and hang your clothes; the pantry is stocked with basics so you don't have to buy sugar or spices; and everything you need is right there. We would rent again in a heartbeat, thanks so much!
