Great location

Check in was extremely easy. Condo is in a great location, and the building itself was really nice and clean. Our kids loved the pools and how close the beach was to be able to do both in one day. Only cons was that the condo was a little dirty, especially the walls. And there’s no vacuum to clean floors from the sand/etc. Overall we had an amazing stay and highly recommend the Phoenix!

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful condo directly on the beach. We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend! The only negative was both tubs were VERY slow to drain so we just had to stagger showers. But otherwise a wonderful stay!!

We left the property shortly after checking in, because it was not clean. Pubic hair all over the tub and used towels still hanging in the bathroom and on the floor. Silverware was dirty that was in the drawers, etc. The place is old and not well maintained. Not worth the money we paid for it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a wonderful experience being away from my home in Tennessee for that 6-day period. The room my sister and I had rented was very good. It has a decent sized kitchen, a nice lounging area, good sized bedrooms, and a really good balcony for viewing the beach. However, the showers in the bathrooms need to be renovated. They have old dials that are hard to turn when turning the showers on and off. Other than that, the room was fine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rooms were clean. The Master bed was comfortable. There were 2 beds.. maybe full size?? In the guest room. Our adult son and wife slept there. One of the beds was very uncomfortable, being very saggy and no support at all. The kitchen had an electric hand mixer, but no beaters that I could find. There was not a rubber/silicone spatula. Otherwise kitchen was equipped ok. The 2 living room recliners were what prompted me to rent this condo over a 3 bedroom one. Thanks owner for those recliners!!! Toilets and showers worked well. The disposal did not turn on, but I called our agent and very soon a repairman came and fixed it. I would stay in this unit again. The refrigerator makes a lot of ice. The oven works well.

Reviewer Comments: Overpriced and tiny - we booked during the off season for a couple of nights around new years. WAY overpriced - building was old, really low ceilings and tiny rooms for the cost. Drains all slow to work. Shower head in bathroom master so clogged with mildew it would barely work. $55 add on to park your car. We’ve stayed at a lot of sites on the gulf coast and this was our first at this Phoenix. We won’t be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location however the property was just, ok. Furniture in living room was pretty dirty. Water flooded the master bath through the ceiling, which we had to clean up. Maintenance gave us a pile of towels and a bucket. It was a-lot of water and it didn’t stop pouring in till maintenance shut off the supply to the unit above us. Not the property owners fault, but it made the experience disappointing. The owner did offer another room but we we’re leaving soon, so we chose not to relocate. Overall a decent stay in a great location for the money! The water issue was disappointing and I wish the furniture was cleaner.

Great view

I loved that the living room and master had great views!! The gym however had no dumbbells. There is no bar on premises which is something I would change. Also we could hear everything all night the neighbors were doing. But overall we loved the room and view and access to beach. Beds were comfy and that’s a huge success for vacation

Floors were dirty, popcorn kernels everywhere, check under the tv. recliners were filthy, i scrubbed both of them Scrubbed bar stools. washed and ironed dining room chair covers. light fixtures hanging over sink and laundry area. Company did fix these. walls are dirty and need painting. Windows need washing. We fixed smoke detector hanging from ceiling. would not stay here again

Bare Minimum but met our needs - could use updates

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Phoenix Rentals was pleasant to work with before and after booking. The condo itself was bare minimum but met our needs. It desperately needs some updating. Floors are slick with any type of moisture because of the old tile type, showers fixtures are old, and the couch was very uncomfortable in any position. In the kitchen, there were very few utensils to cook with (for example: no spatulas) and there was no vacuum to clean. Again, it was bare minimum and met our needs but many things could have been done to enhance the guest experience. The owner needs to invest back into the property a bit and would make a world of difference. The view and proximity to the beach were great and the facility itself (although older) was always clean and the staff was friendly.

As the unit is now priced similar to those in better shape its OK, but will pick a different one if one is avaiable for the dates I need going forward.

Fall break beach trip

This rental was in the perfect location, convenient to restaurants and steps to the beach. Communication regarding check in and check out procedures was excellent! Aside from a few minor maintenance items that need to be addressed, slow drains in master bathroom, broken lock on sliding door and interior touch ups that one would expect with a STR the condo was fantastic! Would stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location on the beach! We had dolphin shows every morning, from our balcony! My only complaint is that it wasn’t very clean. The vents had black mold on them (the maintenance man did come and clean those, but overall the unit wasn’t cleaned well. There was a foot print on the wall and hair clogged all the drains.
