Excellent hosting

Cannot say enough about Lucia Hurley! She communicated effectively and greeted us upon arrival even when it was after hours. If we had any issues they were fixed immediately and she checked on us repeatedly while we were there. 5 stars for her!!! The neighborhood “will be” great when it is finished, but we dealt with extreme construction next door for most of the whole week. We were disappointed with that aspect, but the house layout was outstanding. If we had not had the pool, not sure how we would have felt overall. We do recommend this location but make sure construction has been completed before booking.

Beautiful House

The house is wonderful! Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Balcony areas are very nice, pool area is okay.

PERFECT MARATHON VACATION HOME

This was a wow factor home for six adults and two toddlers (three generations of family). The five bedrooms and four baths were perfect. There were two master suites, so everyone was happy. I was thrilled to have my own room and bathroom downstairs. Everything was well appointed at the property and the property manager, Lucia, was very helpful when booking and while we were there. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and the place was spotless. Loved having a free boatslip, but our group couldn't decide on what boat to rent so we did not use it. The sunsets were lovely at the neighborhood marina. Game nights were great at the huge dining table. We did two easy one-hour drives to Key West. We liked Calusa Beach on the gulf side at Bahia Honda State Park. Saw a live conch in its shell while snorkeling. Another excellent beach is Sombrero Beach. It was wonderful for our two toddlers with its soft sand, shaded playground and zero waves. And so conveniently close! We also did the Dolphin Splash encounter one day and the Aquarium in Marathon the next day. So much fun! The house was always a welcome sight at the end of the day for a quick jump in the pool. Our week went by too fast. I'd highly recommend this property for any family gatherings - no complaints.

Sombrero Beach is only 5-6 minutes from the VRBO.
Bahia Honda was pretty but lots of rocks in the water. Good for snorkeling.
The Dolphin Splash lets you stand on a platform since our toddlers don't swim yet.

Marathon trip

We had an excellent time. The listing was as advertised. Property is brand new. I cannot say enough good things about Lucia. She was exceptionally accommodating for our entire stay. I brought a boat down and she helped with trailer storage. We did not have a hose to wash down the boat and gear so she supplied one without hesitation. She was very reachable. The property was exactly what is pictured. Beautiful. No surprises. We all talked about how we want to come back and stay in the same house next year!

Great house in a neighborhood under construction

The house was beautiful and well appointed. The location was very convenient to restaurants, fishing, Bahia Honda park, and the 7 mile bridge. The marina in the neighborhood has stone steps where you can put in kayaks and paddle boards. However, the house next door and many others in the neighborhood are under construction. Construction started at 7:15 and lasted until around 5:00, with the noise making the porch and pool basically unusable. The property manager was easy to contact and the owners refunded part of the rental fee. Definitely check on the status of the construction before you book!

Beautiful and welcoming home

This was a beautiful and welcoming home. We stayed with four couples, each couple had a nice bedroom and their own bathroom. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoy each others company both inside and out. We had one minor "Act of Nature" that the host attended to immediately. There are many great restaurants within 10 minutes of the home. There is a convenience store a couple blocks away that we frequented for their amazing frozen yogurt with a multitude of toppings! The house is well supplied for making your own meals. We highly recommend this house! !menhouse!and out.

Great home

Loved the home. Lots of room & great floor plan. Agent was wonderful. There is some construction close right now that was a little loud but that should be gone soon. Agent did tell us about it though

Beautiful House

This was the perfect stay from ease of check in to fast check out! We really enjoyed marathon key and it is a beautiful and easy drive to other Keys. House is very well stocked and clean! Our kids enjoyed a dip in the pool on our off days and we enjoyed the short drive to Sombrero beach and Bahia Honda Key state park. Lucia was a great host, available for anything we needed, but honestly we didn’t need her!
