Watch the sun set over Sanibel from your lanai overlooking San Carlos Bay

You may never want to leave the air conditioned lanai! This condo sits at the base of the causeway over to Sanibel and boasts sweeping views of San Carlos Bay, Sanibel and the famous Sanibel Lighthouse. You can actually lie in bed in the master bedroom and see the lighthouse at night. There are always boats to watch as the Intercoastal runs right in front of the condo. If you do want to leave, you are perfectly situated between the islands of Sanibel and Captiva and Ft. Myers Beach. The beaches of Sanibel are just a 5 minute drive over the causeway. There is so much to see and do in this area such as swimming, sunning on the beaches (we provide beach chairs and towels), kayaking, fishing, biking, shelling and more! Visit the Ding Darling Preserve or the Shell Museum on Sanibel to learn about our native wildlife. Enjoy shopping in the island boutiques and eating at some of the favorite island restaurants such as Doc Ford’s, Trader’s, The Lighthouse Café and more. Or stay closer to home and walk to the Bimini Baithouse for live entertainment and delicious food just steps away.

Our home away from home is a completely redecorated furnished 2/2 with a queen bed in the master and two twin beds in the guest room. You will find the amenities include everything you need and then some – including beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach towels. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai watching the boats head out for the day. Internet and cable are included. There is a television in the living room and master. The master has its own bathroom, vanity area and walk-in closet. The master also has a desk for those that need to stay caught up on work – but beware – it faces the water and you can get distracted by the dolphin that come by daily. Hairdryers are provided in both bathrooms. There is a breakfast bar and dining table. Boat rentals are also available locally as are boat tours and dinner cruises. This unit is located on the 3rd floor and has amazing views. A covered private parking space is provided that is right next to the elevator. The property also provides a shopping cart to easily bring luggage or groceries up to your unit. With the 4-star Marriot Sanibel Harbor & Resort hotel next door, you can enjoy walking their beautiful property, eating at their restaurants and visiting their Spa (please check if open after Ian).

We can’t truly explain how beautiful the sunsets are -which are fully visible from the lanai during the winter months. You can just sit and watch and then watch the stars start to come out and twinkle at you – all without leaving your own lanai. It’s hard to find a location like this with amazing views from morning to sunset.

Our property is still in construction mode due to Hurricane Ian. Of the 4 buildings on property, ours is the only building open for occupancy, with the other 3 still undergoing some updates. Our landscaping, pool, hot tub and docks into the bay are still all unavailable at this time. So please do understand that these things are still all works in progress, but it doesn't change the view or the luxurious accommodations that the condo itself offers. The pool, hot tub and grills may be back by March/April 2025. Please inquire for updates.
