Nice location and very clean

Very clean condo with nice amenities. We had no need to contact the property manager. Pool and beach area were nice. Just not close to much shopping or dining except Marriott resort next door. Only complaint is that the ice maker kept clogging up and we had to empty each night. Very relaxing few days. Close to Sanibel so spent a morning exploring there. Thanks for the use of the condo.

The pool was very nice and the condo well supplied with paper products. The inside of the condo was less than appealing. The blinds on the door wall are broken and hanging, the blinds on the master bedroom window are held together with masking tape, the beds very uncomfortable and throw rugs in bathrooms filthy. There were also used towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When we arrived there were supposed to be two keys on the counter. There was only one. I messaged Christie the “host” and the entire time we were there I never received a reply back. It was uncomfortable thinking someone else had our other key.

Disappointing

Little to no communication with owner. Furniture is damaged and dated. Window treatments are hung with hangers and clothes pins. Glassware had lipstick stains. The surrounding area looks like a debris field. POSITIVES - Nice view, pool has been rehabbed, plenty of extras like coffee filters, soap, shampoo...

Needs updates and maintenance, but has a great view.

The location was ideal, but the condo was in need of attention to several maintenance issues, including outdated furnishings, and cleanliness and functional issues. The doorwall handle was broken off and the blinds were inoperable and hanging down. The balcony furniture chairs had old and broken seats. The main room furniture was old, dining set had holes in the wicker, and the condo had a stale tobacco odor throughout. The curtains in the front bedroom were inoperable and taped up, and appeared damaged. The main bathroom shower/tub drain was clogged and unable to plunge out. The toilet off the front bedroom kept running off and on. The kitchen cupboards and drawers were cluttered, disorganized, and the laminate cabinet drawers and cupboards were pealing. A used can of paint was left on the dining area floor. There were beach toys on the balcony and found throughout the house. Checkin was easy and we enjoyed the view.

Great location

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the location. Grocery stores are close by, good restaurants just a few minutes down the road. (Bimini Bait Shop and The Lighthouse). We also went next door to the Marriott bar, not as impressed with the food. Super easy to get to Sanibel and Captiva. It’s a quiet, secluded location. Can’t beat the west facing views for sunsets! There isn’t a long beach if you’re looking for that. But the beach that is there is perfect for a quiet beach day with nice sand and swimming area. Beach chairs are provided down on the sand. The pool and hot tub were beautiful. Just wish we could’ve e been in later than 8:00 p.m. Provided at this property: pool noodles, some beach toys, tennis rackets and a few other odds and ends. The property was a little dated. The door/lock were “janky” to open. The sink in the master bathroom didn’t drain. Improvements would be to provide more than 2 rolls of toilet paper. The kitchen could use a dish towel and dish soap and there were no trash bags beyond the 2 that lined the garbage cans. We’d definitively return to this location based mostly on the proximity to the islands, the views and the privacy and seclusion.

Amazing views, family friendly

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this property. We were in a different unit last time. Love the views from this unit. So peaceful sitting on patio at night. Kitchen well-equipped. Christy responds to questions quickly and is quite accomodating. The pool is fine, but you will also have access to the marriot’s pool next door which is very nice. There’s a small beach on the property which is perfect for younger kids and if you don’t want to make the drive across to Sanibel.

Superb view and location

Wished our stay had not ended. Kitchen well equipped; plenty of living space for four adults. Could have stayed on the balcony and watched boats all day as well as the dolphins doing their flops and dives. Outdoor Pool is spacious for the size of the condo building (12 floors with six units per floor) and situated so that sun is on it all day. Proximity to Marriott Restaurants and bridge out to Sanibel a plus. Golf at Shell Point is very close and open to public at reasonable price even in high season. Course is very well maintained. Small TLC suggestion: need pool towels and more wash clothes and indoor towels, or reminder to bring your own. Would definitely stay again. Thanks.

Really nice location

What a beautiful location! The view over the water was beautiful and watching the sun set from the screened patio was a nightly ritual for us. Being right next to the Marriott was nice too; we stopped over a few night for sundowners at their outdoor bistro. Having access to their facilities was convenient too - enjoyed a spa treat one day. We had a minor problem with a leaky toilet but Christy as able to have a plumber come in and take care of this issue. The apartment is pretty well equipped for cooking in if you want to do that. We didn't have any kids with us but there were toys (bike helmets, soccer balls, games, etc.) that would have kept them amused, as well as pool noodles and other beach items. A very enjoyable two weeks! Thanks, Christy :)

Amazing location on the water - perfect getaway!

Property was quiet and right on the water. The view is amazing couldn’t ask for anything better. A little private beach and pool time for the kids was just perfect. Location couldn’t be better just across from the water from Sanibel and we were at Bimini bar shack for dinner and to listen to music a few nights. Beds probably need replaced soon in the master as they are starting to have a dip in them. Only other complaint was the noseeums- my son and I got so many bites it was unbelievable but of course that’s not something you can control :)

Disappointing, will not stay again

We are local residents, well aware of the benefits offered by staying in this area of Ft. Myers-Sanibel. While we were pleased by the early arrival time offered, our experience was very disappointing. The toilet in the master bedroom had a problem and ran on and off randomly every 15-20 minutes. We notified the property owner upon arrival and never received any word back. The next day was Thanksgiving and we certainly did not expect to have it fixed; however, the day after we did...but never saw a plumber and never had an email acknowledgement. This rendered the master bedroom unusable due to the noise and one of us had to sleep on the couch instead. Absolutely unacceptable considering the rate we paid! In addition, the 2 tables on the porch were filthy, had not been cleaned for a long time. There was only 1 small garbage bag; we could not find any more. The furniture in the living room was not as shown in the photos; the couch was very uncomfortable. There furniture on the porch was also not as shown in the photos. We will never stay at this property again.

Great vacation property

We had a really great time at this property. I felt the pictures were very accurate and we enjoyed our stay in Punta Rassa. Some particulars to share: 1) Condo: Felt we had all the amenities we needed - the air worked great, beds were comfortable, condo was clean and it had a great view. 2) Location: If you're looking for a busy scene you won't find it here - it was very calm and tranquil. Almost like a little oasis in-between two vary busy areas (Sanibel and Ft. Myers). But I loved that it was so close to get to both of those areas quickly. 3) Food: We really had some really great food during our trip including a fun stop at Yo Taco and Doc Fords in Ft. Myers Beach as well as Old Captiva House on Captiva Island (who did a really nice dessert for my daughter's birthday) Overall I'd definitely stay here again - thank you for a great vacation!

Terrible property. Old and rickety

The property location is great. But this property is old and cranky. There are lot of noises from neighbors who keep hammering the wall all day. Huge problems of mosquitoes. Most of the utilities are old and rusted. The society is not VRBO friendly. Will never stay here again and suggest to avoid the place.

Nice condo, but could use attention to details

The overall experience was very nice. The location was beautiful, and the outside accommodations were wonderful. There were some holes in the dining room chairs, stain on the arm of the couch and the drapes in the living room we’re beginning to fall off. The summarization of what would be on site was not completely accurate. There were no Kleenex, and not as many rolls of toilet paper as promised. Again, overall experience was great, but could use a little more attention to the details.

Dated and repairs needed

We arrive at 5:30pm after a LONG drive and the cleaning lady was still cleaning and we couldn't "check in." We were looking forward to the view and tried opening the blinds. The left one was broken for the duration so we couldn't open it. The cleaning lady said, "yea, that's been broken." The blind the bedroom was also hanging a little. There is no room for groceries in the kitchen. The condo could use some tender loving care. It is getting dated.
