Beautiful view from this pristine unit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4 adults stayed in this unit for 8 days and it was the best unit we've ever stayed in at HHI! The unit is pristine, clean air (not humid, no scents/smells), no dust anywhere and all appliances & furnishings look brand new. Everything works as you'd expect and we didn't have anything fall short of our expectations. The units must be insulated well because we couldn't hear our neighbors on any side. The music from Tiki Hut next door was enjoyable while out on the balcony (the balcony is twice the size of others we've stayed at!) but we couldn't hear the music while inside. The washer & dryer in unit were handy. We had an entire week of rain and were grateful to be in such an awesome villa for all the inside time. Beds were comfortable & kitchen had everything we needed (and more). Saving the link for this unit- we will be back!

Great condo & location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean One - 411! The condo was clean (except for a few minor items) and communication with management was excellent. The overall property was very clean and looked freshly painted on the outside. Really liked that security was present 24 hrs. The close proximity to Coligny Plaza was great and the view from the balcony was just what we were looking for. Loved that it was a very short walk to the beach. We will book again next time we head to Hilton Head!

Excellent Location

Property was exactly as advertised. Location for us is critical. This building is 2 blocks from both Coligny Plaza and Coligny Beach. You can park your car and not have to drive it the entire length of your stay. We did rent bikes for every day of our stay, which we enjoyed immensely. Rode in the morning and early evening. Also the Tiki Bar is right next door. We could hear the live music from our balcony, but would walk over to get up close. The only negatives were the maintenance crew ringing our our door bell at 8 am to move our vehicle so they could trim the palm trees. Would have been nice to be given advanced notice so we could have parked our car in a different spot and not get woken up on our first day of vacation Second, the maids entered our room while we were out getting our coffee before checking out. Check out us 10 am, maids came at 9 while all our stuff was in the unit unattended.

Great location, disappointed in the condo.

Although the condo was in an excellent location, for the amount we paid, I expected a cleaner facility. Cupboards were dirty and towels that were "cleaned and folded" had dirt or something on the edges, therefore we felt we couldn't trust the rest of the place. Maybe for a vacation rental it's fine for most people, but I'm just a little pickier perhaps. Once I see something dirty (the cupboard/towels), it makes me wonder what else is dirty. Otherwise the physical part of the condo was fine, enough bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. Especially liked sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the ocean view!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was clean, some new renovations since last year. Safety bars added to the bathrooms which was much needed. Ice maker in the refrigerator was frozen up and did not produce ice. Was worked on unsuccessfully by maintenance. One bag of ice was brought over by rental management but that really didn't last for one day at the beach.Construction work on the complex was most unpleasant. Was told that it would not affect our stay but parking near our condo was blocked off for construction workers and yes that absolutely affected our stay as close handicapped parking is a must for us. Work by construction crew was running ahead of schedule so the work did affect our stay as well! Early morning noise and scaffolding went up to block our view. Uncomfortable with the scaffolding at windows and decking areas. Possible easy access for intruders.Our group has stayed at Ocean One for over 30 years as we really like the location. The property should not have been rented during the construction phase and especially at the increased rate from last year.This year our vacation was not the best but maybe after much needed renovations on this property are completed it will be more amenable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience in our rental unit. This is just a small thing, but it made a huge difference in our stay. The appliances were clean. We had a lot of rubbermaid available for our use on the stay. We used these for our fresh fruit and veggies and to take snacks to the beach. The pots and pans were brand new and very nice to cook on. The fridge made circle balls of ice! It was soo cool! The appliances were top notch. Everything was clean and organized in the kitchen. Nothing was a hodge podge mess! The appliances were very nice and clean. The unit was clean and nothing needed repaired! Everything worked! Plenty of beach items were available for our stay including two nice beach chairs and boogie boards! We used our beach gear credit for bikes, and this was fantastic! A great program I recommend for all! The beds were comfortable and clean. TVs were smart which made it easy to connect to our NetFlix and Amazon accounts. Hooks by the front door were great for hanging towels for the beach! Great experience!

Great Time At The Beach

A great family location!

Having a bathroom with each bedroom was helpful. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed plus more but do suggest a new can opener and also a plastic spatula to keep from scratching the nice cook wear. The views from the balcony were great. The beach was clean, well patrolled, but a bit crowded. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping and even a grocery store. We did miss out on the last couple days of the pool due to a structural problem. I was impressed to see that a crew worked through the night to fix the problem and that the pool was being refilled with water as we were leaving Saturday. We would definitely stay at this rental again and recommend it for other families or small groups .

Minor Improvements Would Make it Great!

Reviewer Comments: Overall, I liked the property a lot but would only rent this unit again if the patio furniture is replaced with a low-top table and chairs. The high-top chairs were extremely uncomfortable and hard to get in and out of. I paid for an ocean view and expected to spend lots of time on the patio enjoying it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to because I couldn't sit comfortably. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and spacious. The kitchen is newer but lacked any pantry staples. Other rooms in Ocean One that I've rented have pantries stocked with oil, spices, condiment, etc. This kitchen has none. If these minor improvements were made, I would rent it again in a heartbeat!

Reviewer Comments: Our Thanksgiving week at Ocean One units 409 and 411 exceeded our expectations!Several months after renting unit #401 for Thanksgiving week, the owners decided they wanted the unit for themselves that week. Since vacations from work had been arranged this presented a problem. We also needed 4 bedrooms to accommodate our family. Seashore Vacations (Buddy) rose to the occasion and provided us two ocean front side by side rentals that accommodated our families. We have rented from Seashore Vacations several times before and will definitely rent from them in the future. They take care of their customers!
