We love staying at Colony Reef

Can't Wait To Go Back!

Excellent location, condo was the perfect size for the 5 of us. The large patio was awesome and gave us great views and sounds of the beach. Indoor pool was great for the rainy days. Outdoor pool was large and never felt crowded even on busy days. Boardwalk to the beach was excellent! We were able to see lots of wildlife on the dunes. The section of beach where this condo is located is quite large even with the tide all the way in. The mattress in the master was very hard but after a long day swimming and at the beach, it was livable. Bathrooms are nice and updated. We WILL be back!

All units see the beach and ocean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have been coming to Colony Reef Club for five years and intend to return again next year. We find it to be a wonderful place to enjoy Florida in the wintertime for the money. We are on the third floor of building #2 and every morning go out on our balcony to look at the beach and the ocean and many times watch the sunrise. We have stayed at other clubs in the area but only the high priced front row units offer that privilege. The way Colony Reef Club is arranged every unit looks toward the ocean and all units on the second, third and fourth floors look over the dunes and can even see the beach and the ocean waves rolling in. Some days even the sound of the waves breaking on the beach can be heard with our slider balcony door closed. Come check it out.

Family get-a-way

Awesome views of the beach from the 3rd floor. Clean and comfortable. Will stay again. Was there while Idalia blew through Florida but we hardly noticed.

Got to figure out parking .... if you go to town and come back around 10, you'll be lucky to find a parking spot. Even the overflow parking fills up quickly.

Unit 2311

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The complex in general was overall nice. the main pool and grounds were well taken care of. Our main issues were with the unit itself. Upon entering the unit, it was clear the unit wasn't cleaned or maybe was vacuumed and that was about it. we spent a lot of time cleaning before settling in, which no one wants to do after being in the car for 14 hours. The property did refund the housekeeping fee (without me asking), which was nice. Now, when you check in there is a form in the packet for maintenance issues that they suggest filling out as soon as you get there so they can address any issues immediately. I sent an email regarding the maintenance request the same night we checked in. Our biggest issue was not one single interior door latched properly .... so you couldn't lock any of the doors (including the bathrooms). Maintenance did not come at all during our stay. that was disappointing. The staff was extremely nice and the beach is lovely, but due to the unit issues, i am not sure i would come back to this property specifically.

Great Family Vacation

Colony Reef Club is a great place for families. The courtyard is perfect for the kids and families to gather and enjoy the evening. There were several families that would gather and play baseball, throw frisbee and several other outside games. The pool was large and always clean and well maintained. The condo itself was clean and had plenty of room for us. The balcony was spacious. The bedrooms were also spacious. We used the grill twice and it was able to grill hamburgers and bratwurst very well. The location of the condo is great. Restaurants and most activities were only 10-15 minutes away.There were a few minor issues that we just annoyances. Although the master shower has beautiful tile and shower door, the water pressure is terrible. It takes forever to fully rinse and I'm a guy with very short hair on my head. I couldn't ever really get the water to be more than warm. The 2nd shower had better pressure and the water temps were better.The master bedroom door and bathroom doors wouldn't lock. Also, the electric plug in the master bathroom didn't work. The sheets on the queen bed in the master bedroom didn't fit correctly. Every night was a struggle. The bottom fitted sheet constantly came off and would expose the mattress. The fridge in the kitchen could be larger. Trying to store food for several people for a week was a challenge. Only 1 dishtowel and dish washing towel was provided. Overall, I do recommend 2311 at CRC. The condo was clean and functional. Make a few updates and it'll make a better stay for future renters.

It had most everything we needed, the grounds and pool were in stellar condition. Our condo could’ve used some bettee beach chairs and beach towels. Coming down from WV on a plane we simply can’t fit those types of items. Otherwise, I would stay there again, it is rather old looking and not as nice as some other complexes but it did provide what we needed and it was clean.

Great customer service at the front desk, it’s always clean and well taken care of, and the security 24/7 is always reassuring. The only thing I will say is we had some issues the weekend coming in after the office was closed and the answering service was not the best.

This silver condo had water damage on the wall paper- which was VERY OLD!! I love Colony Reef & want to continue coming, updates will have to be made before I’ll make reservations again. I was thrilled with the boardwalk!! I have severe arthritis and steps are very hard for me! Thanks so much for making the beach handicapped accessible!!

Unit 2311 Review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time at Colony Reef. The unit was a basic unit, clean, nice view of the ocean. We have been in this unit for the last two years and really liked it. We have a King size bed at home, so for us this was a little small being in a Queen size bed for the month. The owners had done a few upgrades by removing carpet changing the bedspreads. It is a very nice unit. The only thing that we had a problem with is that the internet was sporadic. I have been hesitating to send a review, since we have been going to Colony Reef for the past 5-8 years and it is getting harder to find a place there for the upcoming year. I guess that is a little selfish of me. The office staff is wonderful and great to deal with. Although this unit has been book by other people for March 2019, we are keeping our fingers crossed that the staff will find us a unit for March of next year.

Nice place for the money

We came here because friends are also staying here and we have enjoyed the facility and the attention that the staff pay to our needs.Our condo is comfortable, within a short walking distance of the beach and parking is very close. The pool and hot tub are excellent and well-maintained.People are very conscientious about masks and distancing.The beach is very wide, nice, and excellent for whatever activity you would enjoy on a beach.

Nice Unit, but it doesn't have Wifi

I Wish to pool outside was heated, I would rather swim in the sun than inside. The grounds are very well kept and the pools well maintained. We have been coming to the Colony Reef for 5 years, each year to a different unit. We always enjoy going back there every year to meet all the friends we have met over the last 5 years.
