Quick spring break trip

Property was in a good location and pretty much everything you would expect from a St. Augustine condo experience. Atmosphere was laid-back and accepting of young children being able to play.

After Christmas Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and a perfect home base for all of the activities we had planned in downtown St Augustine. Some of us even braved the cold to use the hot tub! Delicious restaurants nearby as well. Check in instructions were very helpful and accurate.

I will definitely returned it was clean, very well set up. Everything was as it should be, owners did a great job decorating the propery. Thanks for giving us great memories. The beach are beautiful my girl had a wonderful time with her friends.

Very nice condo

The condo was very comfortable and pleasant. The location was great. A short walk to the beach. The housekeeping could have been improved. The microwave had not been cleaned from the last guest as well as the mirror in the master bath. There was toothpaste on the hand held mirror sitting on the counter. There were other small things which made us feel that a thorough job of cleaning had not been done. We did enjoy our stay, however even thou we think maybe housekeeping could have been better.

We had multiple families renting separate condos which allowed us to enjoy each other while maintaining space. We had three kids and three adults in this unit and it was perfect! It’s a well maintained unit. If I had to pick one issue it would be the blinds, they kept falling down every time someone touched them.

Colony Reef Review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year we stayed at Colony Reef and we again had a fantastic time. The location is great the staff is fantastic. Even had the overnight officer knock on our door to let us know our interior light was on in our car. My family and I truly have enjoyed our experiences here. However when we went to book again the same two rooms we have stayed in are approx $1400.00 more each. We found that to be very disheartening. We wanted to come back yr after yr like so many of the wonderful families that we have met there. But that big of a price hike seems very excessive. And we as a family are having to re think whether or not to come back. That makes me sad.

Check in & out was very easy and everyone we met was helpful. I do have some recommendations- more towels, we had 8 people and were only given 6 towels. Also, more forks/spoons are needed. But overall we would rent this unit again!

My wife and I have stayed in condo 3103 for several years. It has always been clean and all furniture and appliances are all in good condition and updated. Colony Reef is a great location for families with children. The management staff has always been very accommodating and helpful. They have always promptly handled any problem our group has had. I would highly recommend Colony Reef.

A Rental that Feels like “Home!”

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being from a wintery State, with retirement, we now like to head to Florida for a couple months each winter. However, the old adage of - “There’s no place like Home” is often the truth. We have experienced that feeling for the previous 6 years we have rented, until this year. This Condo not only is well appointed, but you can feel the thought and love the owners have put into it, with the comfort of their guest, most in mind. As soon as I walked in, I got an immediate feeling of “home.” It is also our second year of renting from Colony Reef, and I can’t say enough words as to how well managed and maintained it is. The grounds are immaculate and everything was spotlessly clean, which with Covid was a very main concern of ours this year. They are extremely prompt in addressing any issues or services you may need. The complex has great amenities and is in a great location with easy access to the local restaurants and attractions. We already look forward to our next winter here.

There is a pool on the property and just a short boardwalk to the beach. There is also a large area for children to play. All of the units we have stayed in have been in good condition. The light/fan in one of the bedrooms came on in the middle of the night a couple of nights which woke us up. We think someone staying in a condo next to us had the same frequency for their fan or light. Also, the smallest bedroom is very cold at night with the air conditioning blasting.

The short walk down the private boardwalk to the beach over the life filled sand dunes made each trip to the beach a unique experience. Overall the perfect place to relax and getaway.
