La lujosa Villa Amethyst ofrece un amplio santuario en un entorno privado lejos de la bulliciosa ciudad de San Pedro.

Deja que el sol y las suaves brisas te despierten suavemente desde cualquiera de las espaciosas habitaciones. Disfrute de la mañana con un café en la amplia terraza con vistas a las aguas color esmeralda del Caribe. Pase un día tranquilo en la piscina a solo unos pasos o tome un baño privado en una de las dos cubiertas superiores.

Nuestra villa de concepto abierto está perfectamente configurada para familias numerosas, bodas o parejas que viajan juntas. El interior de la villa presenta antigüedades centroamericanas y obras de arte locales para el disfrute de todos. Hay 4 dormitorios, 4 baños privados que le permiten dormir cómodamente 10 invitados.

Nuestro conserje estaría encantado de reservar un masaje en la habitación u organizarlo con nuestros socios para llevarlo a una increíble aventura beliceña. Alternativamente, súbase a una de nuestras bicicletas de cortesía y quizás tome una clase de yoga en el muelle. Los kayaks también están disponibles para que pueda explorar el segundo arrecife de coral más grande del mundo a solo minutos de nuestra costa. Si una visita a la ciudad de San Pedro es de interés, puede acceder a la ciudad en un carrito de golf, un ferry a la isla o un taxi acuático privado.

Cuando se pone el sol, recuéstese en la hamaca con un buen libro, relájese y mire una película en el televisor de pantalla plana, o vea la puesta de sol mientras bebe mojitos en el jacuzzi al aire libre. Pasea a uno de los mejores restaurantes a minutos de distancia. O la cena puede ser preparada por el chef en la cocina totalmente equipada y se puede disfrutar casualmente alrededor de la isla de la cocina de gran tamaño.

Great property close to reef

We had a great stay. We were a group of 9 adults and the accommodation had plenty of room and was nice and private. The pool was fairly large and we used it daily. We also used the kayaks and paddled to the reef and snorkeled (look for the blue buoy to the right of the dock). We saw nurse sharks and stingrays in 3-4 feet of water. The whole family had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Amazing week on Ambergris Caye

We loved the villa, the property and pool, Roberto and the boat adventures, Chef Maria and her cooking… it was fabulous, no complaints.

Really enjoyed villa

Belize stay

Nice property, one bedroom mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable for one couple. The other bedrooms were good. We had some ants that were taken care of quickly. All the employees/ staff are super friendly. Any extra supplies were delivered usually pretty quick. Overall is was a pleasant time. Thank you

Unique and spacious

The property was beautiful! We loved the unique decor. We had plenty of room to spread out. The patios with hammocks were a big hit with kids and teens. Views from the deck were outstanding.

Very happy with our stay

The property was a nice clean house, nicely stocked. The property manager was easy to communicate with. We treated ourselves to a dinner from the onsite chef. We are especially pleased that the owner held our reservations for 2 years because of the covid pandemic. I am glad we finally were able to visit.

Far from the Maddening crowds!!

Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay at La Perla. We love the location which is on the beach. Most of all the great service from the staff which are so warm and friendly. We really appreciated the everyday cleaning service as we like to have a least one meal a day there. They come in a do all the dishes, the floors and do a amazing job of keeping the villa looking perfect. Also really enjoyed Action Dives with Roberto and Dilson and Mathew! They were great.Thank you for a lovely week in paradise!

Great Family Vacation

Ocerall Awesome time! Check in and onsight service was excellent. Few things not functioning but wr were fine without. Oven and 1 ac unit. But plenty of ac throughout to not notice. Grill made up for oven. Anything er needed or asked for was quickly addressed and accomidated. Private property of 12 villas, beach access was nice. Only disappointment was thinking we had a private pool at our villa, pictures and wording. Our 12 villas had a private pool, not public. Still a nice poil not far, just not what we were thinking. The resort is a distance from town 30 min golf cart but lots nearby to do see and places to eat without town. Perfect to stay close veg and enjoy sun and sand. Again awesome stay, very happy with our time.

The La Perla property was everything that we hoped it would be and the service both daily cleaning and concierge assistance by Felix and his staff was more than we expected on our spring break 2017 trip.While staying at La Perla, we shared the entire resort with one other family. Apparently, most of the other owners did not choose to rent out their villas or use them during our vacation which was just fine by us. From the pool to the hammocks to the dock and the rest of the property, we felt like this resort was our private getaway.Do's...Rent golf carts, Plan several trips into town, Go to "Not so Secret Beach" if you like the beach, Dive, Dive, Dive(Ramon's Village Diving was fantastic with Chris and Carlos as dive masters). If you aren't certified they have a resort course and a shallow dive that can help you get your feet wet;)Don'ts..You might want to rent the carts on your own..the shop that they recommended was not very good. We had two carts break down in a week. No ones odds can be that bad.I think the name was Belizean Adventures...Jog along the beach with shoes as undeveloped properties have no beach cleaning and it gets grass buildup and garbage.All in all..we loved it. This was our second trip to Belize and our first to La Perla.EnjoyMike

Beautiful BUT...

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was pretty far from town. There was a possibility of a hurricane so they day before we were asked to reschedule,which wasn't possible because flight days were clear skies. Then when we were picked up from airport by driver who charged us more then resort quoted us, manager called and asked us to try to find a different place in mainland but we couldn't have a refund. Almost 4k! When we arrived after a day and a half travel weather was fine! But we were told to come back in 45min!!! Villa was not clean m, when they finally let us inthey were still trying to rush and clean. The cleaning was Soso bathroom trashes not dumped found someone's old crumbs trash band-aides around villa. There was no key to our villa because it was boarded up for "hurricane" had to wait another 45m I n for them to change the down stairs lock and find a key.. only to come back and remove front board on door then gave us that key. Bottom room where kids stayed was INVESTED with mosquitoes discovered that was due to the screens on door were wither completely Gome or broken rendering no bug prevention... the kids couldn't sleep the first night when I saw all the bites I took a sheet from the balled up pile of linen they left for us on the couch and put over doors which helped. 2 of the room mine included AC wasn't working. They would come right away to help but one of the ACs was on and off whole week making it hot and muggy the length of my trip. Refrigerator in kitchen. Leaked water inside on our food. Freezer in basement never froze some Popsicles we bought.even after 5 days in Freezer. When it was time to check out as we were waiting for our ride 845am they showed up to sit our luggage outside downstairs and the cleaning crew was basically looking at us are h guys going to stay while we clean. We weren't going to wait in the heat so they asked if they could come in to start cleaning. No biggie but for us where was the sense of urgency when we had to wait 45+minutes for them to clean.

Comfy Oasis

We arrived an hour early and Roberto (boat captain, tour operator) picked us up right away and brought us by boat to the house. Things were a little confusing on arrival. Our planned stop to the grocery store didn’t happen and our golf cart wasn’t there. Also, an accident took out a transformer which meant no power, water or wifi. The golf cart did arrive later that evening (slow, bad brakes and painted with giant scorpions which added to the adventure). The grocery store ended up not being a big deal and we were able to drive the golf cart to town the next day end grab what we needed. There are also two great restaurants walking distance from the house (Portofino and Sundeck). Would recommend you bring along a headlamp or two for the beach trek. On recommendation we walked down the beach and had a fantastic dinner at Sundeck. They prepared delicious food and drinks by headlamp despite the power outage circumstance. Can’t say enough good things about the family that works there and the lobster and rum punches! We had a weird incident the first night where something kept chiming and we couldn’t figure out what it was. It ended up being the dishwasher which was a simple reset. The house furniture (except barstools) was very comfortable, it was spacious there with little porches and hammocks that we didn’t even use and cool art. There was a big water cooler available that they refilled. The property manager Michaela popped by every day to check on us and was very kind with recommendations. Roberto came by our first morning to talk tours and his recommendation was the highlight of our trip! We had the most fantastic adventure to Hoi Chan and shark ray alley swimming with nurse sharks and fish, walking around a little town and feeding tarpon. Roberto (boat captain) arranged it and Russell and Josie who took us could not have been more awesome! They were sweet, fun and knowledgeable. Russell even gave our daughter courage to try the platform jump at the split and pulled her up when the current got a little strong. He jumped in to point out cool fish and sea turtles. Unfortunately we didn’t see manatee which you sometimes do. The exterior of the property was maintained very well with a little beach, pool, kayaks and lush vegetation. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend the house. Staff was attentive while being respectful of privacy. Kitchen well stocked but a small cooler and lantern would be a great addition.

BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL VILLA

We enjoyed the peace and quiet away from town, and all the activities we booked. We loved the drive-in movie at the Moon Bar, dinner at Matachica, lunch at Sundeck, and the short ride to Secret Beach. The staff was always friendly & attentive, and when we realized that the oven and refrigerator were not working, they took care of our concerns. The oven needed a part that was on order, so we used a propane grill instead. The fridge was fixed immediately by maintenance. We highly recommend La Perla and will definitely stay with them again.

La Perla delivers an exotic stay in beautiful Ambergris Caye

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 7 of us stayed at the Amethyst Villa at La Perla. We were very pleased with the experience. The secluded villas on the Caribbean Sea offered a sense of tranquility. The unit was decorated in an exotic Moroccan decor which gave a unique feel to the villa. Definitely not cookie cutter. We enjoyed our coffee and cocktails on the expansive front deck and relaxing in the mornings and late afternoons in the bedroom hammocks. The cons of the unit is that at least in this villa there was significant road noise at all times of the day and night with trucks passing by. The Villa is situated close to the road. The south end bedroom on the second floor also offered an uncomfortable mattress, describing it more as a futon. We enjoyed a great beach side lunch at Sunset Deck just south of the resort. Also breakfast at Matachica is recomended. Overall would recommend for a group of family or friends who want to stay together in a home rather than seperate units.

Michaela was so helpful to arrange flights and connect us with a guide for a private full day experience. Fly there- it’s a full day and the flights are so fun for sightseeing 2. Diving - get outside the reef and enjoy amazing corals, sharks, rays and new scenery3. Chicken drop- winner winner. 4. BBQ boat- sunset cruise 4. Food: Frenchy’s was delicious, the Pupusa restaurant on middle steeet- she makes to order- so many local markets with amazing produce and pizza and ice cream at the Truck Stop. The Baker, bakery south of town, has incredible cinnamon rolls and other goodies.

Being the first Belize visit, Michaela was a great host and insured that our entire stay was memorable! The Villa was everything and more than expected! Excursion fun with zip lining, cave tubing and snorkeling complimented the local meals and beachside fun! Massages on the dock serenaded by ocean sounds were fantastic! Wonderful family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amethyst villa was a great place for our fall break. It had ample space for two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The villa was nicely decorated and very clean. The beach and the pool were within a few steps. The service was excellent including fresh coconut delivery, chef-prepared dinner, security, and cleaning service. Michaela is an excellent host and responds to all inquiries and needs promptly. I strongly recommend La Perla as a vacation spot.

Property just as pictured

We were very happy with the Condo and management. The condo was exactly as pictured. Massive amounts of seaweed on the beach made the beach unusable. The road to San Pedro was in terrible condition the 5 mile drive in a golf cart took 30 to 40 minutes. The property next to the condo had a very good resturant, other then that there was not much for good food in close proximity. Overall we were very happy with the condo but not so much the location.
