Great rental, great location

So please don't hesitate to rent this great condo! As others have mentioned it could use some updating but everything was clean and the location is unbeatable! Manuel is always there if you have questions. You can walk to great restaurants, the Marriott Hotel for the casino, Santurce for the nice bars and a great restaurant we went to twice, The San Juan Smokehouse. There is a free shuttle to Old San Juan outside the Pizzeria Uno restaurant, a two minute walk from the condo. The building has great security and the condo comes with a nice garage parking spot. We rented a car for just 2 days out of the 6 we stayed to drive to the El Junque Rainforest which was awesome. It's about 1/2 hour drive. We also drove to the Isla Verde area to go to Ruth Chris' Steakhouse for a nice dinner. This condo is located in the heart of the Condado area which is the most convenient and best location the whole city in our opinion.

Just like home!

Walking into a fully furnished apartment for a 4 day business trip was exactly what I needed. I am a country boy from Texas who now lives on another Caribbean island. I rarely rent condos or apt. But this place was amazing. Once you go out back to the pool or beach, you forget you are in the city.. Pool and beach right out back.. beautiful white sand beach.. I went jogginng every day. Incredible restuarants and large grocery store within two blocks. Walgreens and even a hospital right next door. Amazing view of the city! Complex is gated with 24 hour security. Free parking Really it cannot have more conveniences for the price. Clean and comfortable with new quiet A/C Perfect place for a couple or even a small family that wants to be at home and have amenities of a beach hotel..

Holiday weekend!

Apartment was nice and clean. Security and parking was a plus. Really enjoy the stay. I suggest to have a sign with the apartment number and to update the lockbox because it was very difficult to open in order to get the keys.

We liked that had direct access to the beach and also had a pool. The host was very kind giving us an early check-in. We wish there were more toilet paper. They only provided 1 and we were 3 people staying 4 days.

Do not stay

I like the fact that we were able to check in early, however, the place was not clean and the pictures made it seem bigger then it really was. The lights went out and the owner didn’t follow up with us to make sure we were okay. Also, I was told I would get a percent refund back and the owner has not sent my refund yet.

the apartment is terrible dirty the air conditioning does not cool the bed a garbage everywhere the apartment with a broken thing the building on the outside ugly the pool a problem to bathe in peace and the security was not bothering with stupid things I do not recommend it to nobody terrible

Great location, so-so apartment

Yes it's true, the location is great. Right on the beach, nice pool and amenities. The surf was a bit rough but down the beach a ways was excellent for swimming. Beautiful beach and water. The apartment was substandard and needed a lot of repairs. I won't go into detail since other reviews have already done that, but I communicated with Manuel about everything, and he was quite obliging, detailing his plan for each problem. We didn't stay long enough to see whether this happened, but he seemed sincere. Luckily the weather was nice so we were out most of the time anyway. Not a nice place to hang out and very noisy neighbors.

Tried to contact the owner before & several times during our stay never responded to any requests for basic information. There were 4 bath towels 1 hand towel. Overall poorly maintained. Great location.

Getaway

The location is excellent and very safe. Convenient to the beach, which is also very nice. The building has a lot of amenities - gym, pool, beach access, parking, and convenient store. We stayed on the 21st floor, would recommend staying ocean side for the view. The room was nice, kind of small. Bring more towels because only 4 are provided. Would highly recommend if visiting the Condado area.

Clean, well-stocked, and convenient

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. With easy access to beach and pool, plus a variety of appealing restaurants within walking distance, the only time we needed a hire a car was to visit Old San Juan and get from and to the airport. We also appreciated the folding chairs and portable cooler for relaxing on the beach.

My Stay on Condado

Although listing had many good reviews, after I relooked at them, the good reviews were basically about it's location, which I agree with. The condo itself is mediocre at best. First of all, no bldg # was visible to identify the exact tower. Took us a couple of turns to find it. The unit is very small and very basic. I wouldn't recommend it for more then 2 people. The mattress is pretty dirty and way too soft. The sheets slipped off every night. For our 5 day booking we were left 4 small thin bath towels, 1 hand towel and no replacements. No kitchen towels, no drainer to place clean dishes on. Floor in living room area is cracked and lifted in some places. Window doesn't fully close so there's a big gap letting cold AC air escape. Walls are pretty dirty throughout. Not enough space to unpack, we pretty much lived out of our suitcases during our 5 day stay. No # on the door identifying the apt #, the lock box seemed broken as was difficult to open to retrieve/restore keys. The pool was ok although we only used it once. Access to the beach was good. Would have been great to have beach towels supplied as we didn't travel with any ourselves. Underground parking was a plus. For a couple of nights residents on the floor played their music so loudly that the walls shook. Somebody finally pounded on their door to get them to lower the volume. Sadly I would not stay here again even though the area it's located in is very nice with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Hopefully the owner will clean it up a bit to make it more enjoyable.

Great location!

This is a fantastic location for a stay in San Juan. Well located, with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Manuel was very accommodating. We loved it.

Excellent Location

Excellent location, walk out the back to a beautiful beach. Walk out the front to restuarants plus many other convenient stores. The apartment came with underground parking which is a blessing for this area. Centrally located. Manual was very responsive and helpful. The apartment needs a little work but nothing that would prevent us from returning. All in all fair value for the price paid.

Great place, great location

This was the best place we could have possibly picked for our vacation. The host was very responsive and understanding. The location was in a perfect place, right on the beach and walking distance from a bunch of shops and restaurants. Had private access to pools, parking, and beaches. We loved it and we will definitely be staying there when we go back. Only thing we were missing were wash clothes and that was easy, the mini market downstairs had it all.

What a beautiful location, the room was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. Parking spot was great, building security are friendly and extremely helpful. Best part of this property... steps from the beach. I was unable to work the TV however it was probably good since I was on vacation and not there to watch programs. I highly recommend and would definitely return.

Small and quaint. Perfect for weekend travelers.

We had an amazing time in San Juan. The Condo is right in the heart of everything. And only a short Uber away from Old San Juan. The pool was very nice or you could walk right out to the ocean and swim. This place has all the amenities you’d need while on vacation. WiFi, cable, pool, public laundry and many more. Will definitely stay here again. Manuel answered any and all the questions I had in a very timely manner. All in all, it was a great first experience with VRBO.

Great Condo.

The location right in the heart of Condado. Its was right on the beach, walking distance to restaurants, and grocery store. The unit it self has a cool city/mountain view. The neighbors and neighborhood was safe and everyone we met where friendly. The unit was nicely updated (reminds me of IKEA show room). I travelled with my three children. This unit will work for small family, couple, or 3 adults. I would definitely stay there again. Would have gave 5 star but pool was being repaired due to hurricane Maria. Please note most condos pools need repair in the area.

Best place ever! Security guards at the gate and in the building 24/7! They were very nice and super helpful. Room was very clean, great A/C, newly remodeled, kitchen had lots of items to use such as knives, plates, glasses, etc. It is a short walk to nice restaurants and right on the beach! This place is seriously a steal!

There were no amenities. The pools were destroyed as were most of the outside features. Only 1 TV worked. Internet was not working. Needs a lot of upgrades. The best thing was that it was clean. I really appreciated that!

Great location but apartment decor sucks.

Overall the property location is Great. Close to beach, clubs and places to eat. The apartment needs to be updated. It is okay if you don't care about décor. The apt. did not invite you to stay and relax. It needs more usable furniture and fresh paint. We had to live out of our suitcases. I would suggest the owner consider providing more than 1 set of linens and towels. (He was nice enough to provide more towels, when I asked.) Like I said this place would be great if it got a much needed update. the owner was very friendly when I talked with him so I hope he considers what I have written because his place could be great.
