Take the 17.5-mile cruise to explore historic downtown Charleston while you're here! The Battery is a must-visit! This condo is older than it appears in pictures and needs some updating. The sinks and showers drain very slowly, collecting water.

Weekend Getaway

This is our favorite area of IOP. Was happy this property was available and was available for just a couple of nights. The condo was clean and the check in process always a breeze. Would stay here again.

Beautiful trip

We enjoyed our stay here so much. Beautiful view of ocean, the most comfortable bed I have slept on in long time, and short walk to beach. The isle of palms is so beautiful! We are planning to book our next trip for next year in same unit. The elevator and luggage carts were very helpful!

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed the condo it was very clean. The screened in porch was nice but could use some paint and cleaning. There was some construction going on around the tide water building when we were on the week of Oct 24 so it was very noisy the whole time.

DISAPPOINTING

Very disappointed in this house. Floors were filthy. Toilet in one bathroom moved when you sat on it. Dishwasher was broken. We had a smell of a dead animal (housecleaning’s description) when we got there that only intensified as the week progressed. We contacted the company right away with our concerns and they said they would address it immediately and get back to us and they never did. Reached out to them toward the end of our stay regarding our problems and , yet again, was told they would address it immediately and they never did a thing! Would not recommend.

Lots of Space Good Location

It was great being so close to the beach and the pool. My wife and I stayed with our 1 year old and we had plenty of space. The screened in deck was a great hang out spot. Tidewater was a very calm, low key complex which is what we were looking for. The TV situation wasn't the best (we didn't watch much but it is small and has volume issues) and the kitchen utensils / accessories could use a restock. There are more updated units in Tidewater that we will probably look to book next time.

You are paying for the location

This property is facing a beautiful beach and that is ALL that's going for it. Otherwise, it lacks in every way - furniture, appliances and overall feel of the place is very old and dated. The amenities that one would expect (i.e. sheets, paper products, kitchen items, etc.), especially paying this type of nightly rates, are the absolute cheapest you can possibly imagine. The master bed's mattress cover had blood stains that were visible through the thin sheets... The noise from people on the level above, which was mentioned in other reviews, is real; you can hear every time they walk around and it sounds like they are marching. And for the service - the only time we reached out was to request a pool code, which was not provided in all the standard communication we received. They texted back with 4 digits only, no words of any kind, but the code did not even work... Bottom line, if all you expect to get is an easy access to the beach - this place might work just fine. But don't expect much else.

Condo review

The condo was great. Great beach and pool access. Beautiful view and overall clean. There were plenty of towels and bathrooms were nice and clean. My only complaint was the master bed seemed dirty. The comforter was dirty so I washed it. The sheets seems clean but had several strands of hair in the bed. When we stripped the beds before leaving, there were stains on the mattress cover and I was grossed out. The bed linens should be clean and spotless.

Nice but old

We enjoyed the view and the location but very dated and the TVs are so old that you cannot watch anything on them. Would of loved to be able to watch tv on the rainy day we had.

Walls paper thin

Weirdly lacking a pantry for food but the main issue was the orphanage just above our heads. Despite signs about quiet all over the place in the condo itself there were children racing around over our heads until well after 10 PM and starting up again at 6 AM. It’s the beach, people have families, I get it. But the construction makes it too loud.

loved the property

great ocean views. the balcony faces the ocean. we loved the condo. the only missing is a little more information. We didn't have any information telling us the pool key code. It would have been nice to have the number for the beach chair rental and bike rentals. the free bikes either had flat tires or the seats had disintegrated in the sun. the text support was great and quick. they said there should be a binder with infor. We could not find a binder.

Beautiful ocean facing condo

We loved our stay here! The location is quiet and beautifully maintained. The pool area is perfect for swimming and lounging and the it's a really short walk to pristine beach. The condo is clean and spacious with a great screened in balcony that's actually a lot bigger than in looks in the pictures and has a great ocean view with morning sun. A short drive in Charleston, Mount Pleasant etc. A perfect beach vacation, we'll definitely be back!

Excellent condo! Very wonderful View and Immaculate property. Enjoyed the pool area and environment was beautiful. Beach is a few yards away. Not crowded and family-friendly. Bathrooms may need some updating. Vanities were extremely low.
