Perfect location

This rental is the perfect location while staying in Waikīkī. Ocean views, short walk to the beach, lots of food options close by, lots of parking. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful location. Ocean view. Close to beach.

Needed more towels, and newer beach chairs you could carry on your back. Air conditioning excellent. Beds comfortable. Could only shower. Note saying not to use tub for bath. Small bathroom. Most comfortable for two people, but four fit ok.

Perfect place to stay

A great size for a family of 3, the balcony has amazing views of the water. It is peaceful and quiet, great location, beds are a little uncomfortable but the extra kitchen appliances and basics make this place a great stay. Location is close to the beach, but far enough away from the busyness. Having the car park made for a perfect stay. Wish we had spent longer in this apartment.

Great spot. One block from the beach. All the amenities. Convenient. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed. Clean and functional. Would go back and stay again and would recommend.

Excellent location and a wonderful place to stay while in Waikiki

We are part of the hula group from N.CA who come to Waikiki every year to dance hula and enjoy the ocean, the people and bring some aloha back home. We book several units so we can be close together and travel around the island to experience different beaches, museums and activities. The location of the Banyon tower 1 and 2 are excellent and having the parking is very convenient. The units are just right for two people to share. It’s so much better than staying at the hotel and quite reasonably! Mahalo to the management that made easy to book it and had great communication with us before!

Solid stay in Waikiki

We had good experience during our 4 night stay! Great view with close proximity to the beach. The place was pretty clean and looked as advertised. Pretty good coffee shop near the lobby which was a bonus. Free parking was nice but finding a parking spot later on the day was not. There were no cooking essentials, (salt, pepper, cooking spray) not enough towels for a 4 night stay, and the pool area left a lot to be desired. Overall this is a solid place to stay in Waikiki.

10 day holiday

At the beginning, our impression of the property was very good! Nice condo, beautiful ocean view.! However, there was a sign telling us to not use the bathtub-" shower only" and this was not in the advertisement of the condo on the VRBO website. Communication was excellent and prompt, until we had a problem with cockroaches. Then, when we sent an e-mail about this issue, we received no response all. I would not stay in this condo again unless the cockroach issue was remedied.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great location to everything

Unit has everything you need. We had only two issues, they need a new cable box. The TV freezes up after about 15 minutes of watching it. And the toaster only cooks on one side of the toast. But overall, we would defiantly stay here again.

Nice place in Waikiki

The place was perfect for what we needed! Didn’t spend much time there but nice place to rest our heads. Would have preferred bigger beds and better pillows. The shower didn’t have hot water and the curtain/shower rod need to be replaced. Pool/jacuzzi area on floor 6 is nice. All our friends stayed in the Banyan so floor 6 was a great place to gather. Elevator wait time was crazy during housekeeping hours, but one elevator was broken. Enjoyed the keyless entry check in and check out and free parking pass. Overall, would stay again!

It’s definitely not luxurious! All the pillows were flat and the bed was uncomfortable. There were not enough beach towels for all of us. Two of the burners on the stove did not work so our meals took hours to make. The windows were missing the latches, so you could not close some of the windows all the way. Also, a day before arriving I called about the cancellation policy and the person I spoke with said they would have someone call me back. They never called back! They canceled my reservation! The location and the view were the two best qualities.

Beautiful but somewhat loud

Suite is one of the nicer ones at the Banyan I've stayed in the 11 times I have stayed. The kitchen was well appointed and towels were newer. One block from the beach is just perfect. The view was very nice but very very loud from pool & street noise, car engines revving and sirens being so high up the noise sure travels. We could have closed the doors and windows but then we would have had to run the AC unit which we know would have been expensive for the owner. The bedroom fan keep us cool enough at night without having to leave the doors open or use the AC and we tolerated the noise in the day . While the unit was clean and kitchen well appointed it was in need of upgrades from bedding that was old, too large or not large enough, for the beds to other cosmetic things that looked original to the building. Upgrades to proper fitting bedding would have made the unit so much nicer.

Good stay for family if on a budget- think glamping

Our first stay in the city. Our drive here was a bit scary from airport. Took us through a seedy part of town. Lots of homeless. But when we arrived to condo we were pleasantly surprised to see how close we were to the beach and heart of Waikiki. We were on 29th floor. Elevators were slow at best. Hard to maneuver between so many riders. Have time. Because you will be waiting. Pros- amenities such as AC, refrig,stove,coffee maker, toaster, utensils,plates, towels, and some pool/beach items to use if needed. Trash shoot on floor. Free parking. Bidet. Nice to have- Pool and spa area great. Warm water. BBQ’s to use(coin operated). Ocean view is a big plus. Cons- toaster needs replacing. Toasts only on one side. Stove needs replacing- only one side gets hot. Super slow to cook anything. Refrig. Leaks due to condensation. On one side. But keeps food cold. AC is super loud. Half of back room never gets cold. Doesn’t reach that area. Can get stuffy.Sheets , towels, and such need replacing. Very dingy and old.New broom needed. Very bad. The entire building needs renovating from popcorn ceiling to cracks in walls, stained carpeting, and broken door safety chain. The washing machine (one in each floor supposedly) was broken. We purchased a safety lock from Amazon. Travel one. Glad we did! Overall if you aren’t going to be in your room most of the time. Or are traveling in a group I would recommend. Not for those wanting luxury or resort type experience. Call it like glamping!
