If only the weather...

The house was gorgeous and all the amenities available made the trip very enjoyable! Even with the bad weather - there was time each day we could enjoy the beach and the pool! Highly recommend this house and location!

1st time to stay at S. George Island

The place we stained was very nice. We could see the beach and hear the waves from the 3rd floor.

Perfect escape

Perfect location…minutes walk from beach and pool in perfect location to give you break from wind, there for best of both worlds. Clean, kitchen supplied very well, in fact best I’ve had in any rental. Plan on coming back.

Organized, well-stocked and clean

Great location! Cabinets and drawers were labeled in the kitchen which was great! Also, nice pots/pans and cooking utensils. Very rare in a beach house.

Perfect beach vacation

My parents lived on the island for 20 years (they just moved), so this is the first time that we've had to rent a house there. We absolutely loved this house. There was plenty of space for our family, a large well- stocked kitchen, and a comfortable living area. The beach is a short walk away, easy to go back and forth during the day. We enjoyed the private pool and hot tub at the end of the day. Overall, a perfect vacation, we would definitely stay here again.

Great property.

This was our first visit to St. George Island. We found Reel Memories to be just as described and more. Easy access to the beach. Great amenities. Clean. Great view of the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped. We would recommend maybe a new coffee maker as it was very slow. A tip - bring your own beach/pool towels, which we did. Overall a great stay.

Secluded gem

Fantastic location just steps to the beach. The home is super secluded and the view of the Gulf every morning was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you could possible imagine and we were blown away by the pool and hot tub. The VACASA team was super quick to address the WiFi and cable issue. The shampoo and bath products were a very pleasant surprise. The only drawback was the listing stated that fold out beds were available in the study. There really is no study…as the pull out sofa beds are in the family room. And when we pulled those out to use them, they were full of crumbs and food. That was not a huge issue as we were able to vacuum it up with the house cleaning supplies and use the abundance of provided clean linens. We would definitely stay at the home again.

Great property, poor property management

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was superbly equipped with the exception of the need for a new coffee maker that turns off automatically and brews quicker. The living and dining area were great and we enjoyed the pool and quick walk to the beach, using a wagon for the kids and their toys. Our two-week stay was interrupted by hurricane Helene. We evacuated SGI. Relieved that the island was spared a direct hit, we expected to hear from Vacasa when it was safe to return. No word, nothing at all. We called the corporate 1-888 number to inquire if internet was on in the house and received word that there had been no reported outages. We drove back to SGI and enjoyed our stay with still no info from Vacasa. During a time when communication was paramount, Vacasa failed.

This was perfect for us and our dogs and the host was great at communication. We came in late in the evening amd was so grateful for this home.
