Excellent Location and Home

The house was in a great location - very quiet. Clean. Was well stocked with linens, towels, kitchenware, patio furniture, gas BBQ with extra tank. Housecleaning was available at an extra fee and did a great job. Garage was available to store items and park vehicle. The layout of the house is perfect for a large group. Seperate area up and down with TV and den space. Large loft with 2 queen beds. For us, I appreciated all of the queen or king beds, as there were only adults and no need for bunk beds. Two bedrooms had full ensuite restrooms.

Amazing White Christmas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second white Christmas staying at the Merry Muhlbach Lodge. Needless to say, it is our families favorite get together location for the holidays. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Once again we found the lodge very clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need for large family meals and entertaining. We took advantage of the snow and went sledding and skiing in the local areas. Very convenient with young children. We look forward to many more trips to Truckee. Thanks again!

Christmas time at the Lodge

The rooms were large, the beds were very comfortable, and the four bathrooms were very appreciated. The location is great. Close to town, with easy drives to the surrounding ski resorts. We really loved having a white Christmas. What a treat! Would highly recommend this home.

I most appreciated a well stocked kitchen with sharp knives , non stick skillets in great condition, plenty of wine glasses, beautuful cutlery and lots of serving pieces. The hot tub was really fun to enjoy with my group and the home in general decorated beautifully ... warm and inviting.

Quiet neighborhood and not far from downtown Truckee and the slopes. Great time!

Five Star Accommodations!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at the Merry Muhlebach Lodge. The location is very convenient, with the house just off of the 80. We spent time at both the private beach/marina as "guests" of the Tahoe-Donner community, as well as at the Donner Memorial State Park. Both were so much fun, with watersports for rent and shoreline for playing with the kids. The house was the perfect place to relax after a fun day outside. Cooking and entertaining in the kitchen was relaxing, as the property had state of the art facilities and supplies to truly be a home away from home. The beds and linens were of high quality as well. We are planning to stay here again in the winter if it is available!

Excellent winter getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic property! Very clean. Furniture, kitchen appliances, decor all seemed new or very recent. Snow room entry room was really nice place to leave our gear after a walk through the neighborhood. Close drive to downtown Truckee but far enough away to avoid highway noise. Would suggest some hooks in the garage to hang snow gear after a trip to the slopes. Would like to stay here again!
