Great stay, slow check in process!

The place we stayed at was great! A great view, clean room, organized, and short walk to the beach! However we went to check in and showed up early- not a huge deal to wait until 4pm which was check in time- however we asked if we could check in early, so they had us do a pre check in at 10am and the girl said the room would be ready slightly after 12. The room was ready at 2:30pm. We wouldn’t have minded waiting longer but it was poor communication on their end! No complaints about the owner of the room or the room itself!

Holiday weekend

A friend and I booked this condo for a four day weekend over Memorial Day weekend. The condo had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Perfect for just the two of us. It’s a cozy condo with plenty of seats and the perfect amount of kitchen supplies. The supplies in the kitchen could easily work for six people. However, because the restrooms are small, I would not suggest more than four people in this condo at a time. I do give this condo for stars. The only thing that I would change and the one reason I would not book this condo again is the hardness of the beds. The mattresses were extremely hard. I eventually slept on the couch. The last two nights and the couch is not really made for sleeping while it does have a pull out bed. It’s not that comfortable either.If the mattresses were upgraded or even pillow top toppers put on it. I would definitely come back, but not with those mattresses. 2200 for a four day weekend the expectation would be to have comfortable beds. Everything else great.

Great vacation, poor wifi

Filthy Dirty Place

Reviewer Comments: Everything was dirty , the carpet , furniture, I had to wipe out the drawers to put my clothes in there was hair, my friends got to there apartment and it was a nightmare, the carpet was a nightmare, the first thing I noticed was the smell of a dog, if I was this company I would be ashamed , in today’s society all people think about is money with non caring standards, I don’t mind old furniture but clean is more important than anything

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi my family of 6 recently stayed here for a little beach trip before school starting. Great location. It was very quiet which we loved. I also loved the fact that beach chairs and umbrella were included too. Made that pretty convenient. However I did have a few drawbacks. This condo needs some serious updating. Everything is so old. Kitchen you can see all the rust and bathrooms are old. But overall I couldn’t complain too much because we were right on the beach and being able to open that back patio door and hear the waves were awesome. My kids loved it.

Destin Family Vaca 2021

Staff was great. Check in was at 4PM and we arrived at 1:30PM. The room was ready so we were allowed to check in early. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Easy access to the beach. The unit is a bit dated, but was clean and had everything we needed. Location is great if you have transportation. We did not and it is a pretty long walk to access places to eat. We had four people. It will sleep six, but it's going to be a bit crowded with the sleeper sofa pulled out. Over all happy with the stay and facility.

Saw dolphins from our balcony swimming in the gulf each morning. Super great location on the beach with amazing beach staff that got us set up each morning with an umbrella and chairs. Already talking about when we can go back. It was perfect. Very clean.

Great time with family

Moving our granddaughter to Destin. Great spent with family. First time for daughter-in-law to see emerald coast. She was amazed.

Destin Vacation

Overall the stay was okay. The beds were too hard and uncomfortable, even though there were mattress toppers, they were still very uncomfortable . I asked room service for extra towels and we never got any. Other than that, the location was great and very close to the beach walking distance, which is what we wanted. I think that customer service could be a little better.

Delightful 6 Weeks in Unit #702

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3nd stay at Holiday Surf and Racket Club HSRC). We were in Unit 702 during this stay and we were totally pleased with the accommodations. The staff at HSRC could not be nicer. The beach access (right on the water) and views were spectacularr. The outdoor pool is heated and the water is just right and not overloaded with chlorine. I like to swim laps and there was no need for a mask to prevent stinging eyes. Wish there was an indoor pool for the cooler days as getting out of the pool was really burzzy some days. A spa would be nice but HSRC does not have one. There is an adequate workout facility and a nice sauna. Free DVD movies are provided. We stayed 6 weeks during Jan and Feb., and are signed up again to stay at HSRC in 2021, although not in the same unit because it was unavailable. The furnishings are a bit dated but are comfortable. The refrigerator's ice maker was temperamental but a new one was reportedly on order when we checked out. There are nice activities for snowbirds, e.g., shuffleboard, darts, movie nights, pot luck dinners, a Valentines dance, etc. The two tennis/pickleball courts and shuffleboard courts were resurfaced during our stay and are really nice. I can't complement the front desk and maintenance staff enough. They were wonderful.

Every mattress in the unit is hard as a rock and should be replaced, ESPECIALLY the sofa sleeper! It felt like you were laying on a box spring!! No one had a good nights sleep the entire time we were there. :/
