We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary. We enjoyed drinking coffee and eating breakfast on the lanai while watching spinner dolphins off the coast. The beds were comfortable and the place had all the amenities we needed, including beach chairs and a cooler for beach excursions. The location could not be beat. We definitely can’t wait to come back to this piece of paradise!

Fantastic Views

We had a lovely stay at Kona Isle. The unit was comfortable and close to town. The views were fantastic and the people from Knutson and associates were quick to respond to any questions or needs that arose. We are definitely considering a return visit in the near future and would book this property again.

Beautiful View

This condo had the most beautiful view from the balcony. The pictures we took from the balcony at sunset with the palm trees and the ocean look just like a postcard. The condo is exactly like the pictures. We had a very nice stay.

PERFECT!

The view is stunning. You can hear the waves while you sleep, it’s so peaceful. You can see dolphins in the distance. The sunsets are indescribable. All the decor was intentional and beautiful. Everything you need was provided. Loved the kitchen, clean and stocked with appliances. Check in was very easy, and communication was great. One of the best Vrbo experiences I ever had. Mahalo!

NOTE: There is no beach access at this property but their is a pool. Overall, the property was well maintained and close to everything; restaurants, shops, beachlets, parks, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. Nice and quite too. For the price you can't beat this gem of a condo, it was a great way to explore Kailua Kona.

The location was conveniently located near restaurants and beaches (and not too far from downtown Kona) and the ocean view from the lanai was amazing! We even saw a pod of dolphins swimming past on our first day. Everyone we met at the complex was very friendly, and it was great having access to the pool, BBQs, kitchen for cooking our own meals, plus in-suite laundry. We would definitely come back to stay here again (and recommend to friends)!

Many people prefer a firm mattress, I need a softer one. Other than that, the condo was great. We watched the high surf from the condo, saw whales in the distance, walked to dinner in Kona, traded books in the on-site library.

We found the bed a trifle firm for our liking but we got used to it. The view and sunsets were spectacular, I’ll never tire of the turquoise blue of the ocean with swaying palm trees... The condo was well situated for trips to Kona town, Magic sands beach, Kahalu’u snorkeling, Shaka tacos and Bianello’s pizza. We would not hesitate to recommend the condo to friends!

From beginning to end, the rental experience was easy, the app is a great idea and the Condo itself was lovely! Absolutely wonderful location! The only downfall is no air conditioning, perhaps provide a plug in fan for each room including the bathroom. We will definitely stay in the exact condo again and will be telling all our friends! One more point -Please remember to have water turned on as well as the breakers for hot water, that was the only negative point of our entire stay

Parking was easy, beach chairs were always available and the unit was well-equipped. I'd say this is best suited for a couple versus a family as the living/kitchen are cozy and it'd be tight if you used the pullout couch also. In a pinch it would work but it'd better served for 2 people. Fans in each room provide more than adequate ventilation to keep the place cool without the use of A/C, even during a stay in July. The property manager provided great customer service and I would absolutely stay here again and consider this a great find.

Wonderful view of the sunset every night. Close to downtown Kona! My only complaint is the saltwater pool located next door attracted a lot of pot smokers and noise. Everything else was awesome! Watch your invoice though. We rented through VRBO and was given one price and the rental company gave us a different invoice price. It was still worth it! :)
