Sandpiper es un complejo de tres pisos de baja densidad. Su singular edificio en forma de V y su pasarela de área común compartida en frente de cada condominio se prestan a un ambiente amigable para conocer a su vecino. Reuniones familiares, grandes grupos de personas que viajan juntas y familias individuales eligen esta propiedad con frecuencia. El patio tropical, la piscina y las áreas de parrillas le dan a Sandpiper un ambiente propio. Es una propiedad muy solicitada y tiene la mayoría de los huéspedes que repiten.

Wonderful

Great location. Beautiful beach and emerald green water. Our second time staying and loved it. Not overcrowded. Parking is easy and every spot is super close to the facility.. Great pool!

Due to water leak in ceiling we had to move to another condo but it was so much nicer it was worth the bother! 11c would have gotten 5 stars. 1A was not as clean we had to wash sheets they had not been changed from last guest. Overall 1A needs some TLC !Management was excellent !

Relaxing get away!

It had everything we needed and was in a convenient location. Although upon arrival the towels were dirty in the washer so i had to wash them. That was my only issue. The light did flicker in the small bathroom in the shower area. All in all a good stay.

We’re a guy’s golf trip (50’s and 60’s) so we don’t have a lot of kitchen/appliance needs; however, we did have everything we need. The satellite TV worked and had a great sports package. The restrooms/showers were clean and in great working order. We will be back.

Another great stay in 11C

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fourth year spending January and February in this unit. Very comfortable and homey, we especially like having two recliners so we both can relax while reading or watching TV. We love the walk-in showers and the washer-dryer is newer and large capacity. Removing the dated wallpaper in the master bathroom and painting those walls would be a nice update. We really like this unit and have rebooked for next year.

Beautiful views, and convenient location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Sandpiper and Gulf Shores; this was our 3rd year visiting. We stay for a week each time and love the location. The condo is right on the beach and within walking distance from all of the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, this year we had an issue with roaches, and it was not as clean as the last time we stayed. We saw 1 roach in our room during our stay (but we were basically only in the room to sleep/shower, and out exploring throughout the day). My parents were 2 doors down (14C), and they killed a roach in their room as well. Despite the roach encounters, when properly cleaned, the condos and the location are beautifully stunning. I hope they address the issue at hand, and I look forward to future reviews that do not mention similar encounters of the same issue.

Our condo was nice, the complex was not

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo Itself was good. Clean and comfortable. The complex however was not. I realize this is not the owners fault, but we were forced to smell marijuana & constant cigarette smoking on the balconies all around us, also at the pool. It ruined our time outside trying to enjoy the complex. We resorted to the beach all day and renting a boat to get away. This may not bother some, but my small kids were there and it was not ideal for my family. Smoking, drinking, cursing all allowed at the pool but when my 5 year old wore a floatie we were scolded that they aren’t allowed. I didn’t argue, I just left. Not our scene.

Not so great of a stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been to many condos at Sandpiper and we love the atmosphere. This is handsdown the worse condo we've had not only at Sandpiper but in Gulf Shores period. The condo has not been maintained at all. The beds were worn out, the appliances hardly worked, the tile floor throughout were cracked and coming up, the master vanity faucet didn't work and the only way to get it work was to have the water run non-stop. On top of that it was filthy. Food left on the ground, hadn't been dusted, sand on the floors (a good amount), counter tops and table were sticky, and showers hadn't been cleaned (hair and sand in both). We did call Bender and report but maintenence did nothing to fix and we had already cleaned up when we checked in. Totally disgusted and not worth the $2k.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is is our fifth year renting this condo. This year we were thrilled to find the unit had been very tastefully updated. Fresh paint throughout, new beds in the guest bedroom, both bathrooms updated, and a new kitchen sink. Most of the furniture is new and new interior doors and.hardware have been installed. There were new ceiling fans and all outlets and light switches had been replaced. It’s just perfect for us, we’ve already rebooked for next year.

It is in a great location, not right in the middle of all the restaurants and souvenir shops but close enough. It was not my first time to stay at the Sandpiper but always my first choice. It being a smaller condo is one of the things I love about it but I’m sure that is why it’s harder to reserve because I’m sure everyone that stays there feels the same. Love it!

Sun, read and relax

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been staying at the Sandpiper for over two decades and it seems as time goes by, many children are left unattended. The constant running and lack of parents at the pool is disturbing. Unfortuntly it might take a serious accident for changes to happen. Their were even people at the pool that were not staying at the Sandpiper. The cleanliness of the condo really gets less than a one star...I start cleaning at the door every year before moving my things in. Bender is getting robbed by the service they use and that cost goes up every year. It's a shame. The people at Bender are awesome! I can't say enough about them. Always kind and positive. They have helped me several times. I'm excited for the new owner of the condo I stay in. The best is yet to come.
