Working with our hosts Don and Marcia was a pleasure. They were very friendly, helpful and informative. The house was clean, well apportioned and supplied. It was as nice as advertised. The location was perfect - in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog.

Fun and easy

We enjoyed the accommodations. The place was pleasant, clean, and had a nice outdoor space. It is close to the beach, bike trails, mini golf, golf, historic district, and restaurants. The hosts were very hospitable.

Terrific time on Jekyll

We had a fantastic stay in the duplex. It was ideally located on a quiet street close to the beach & golf course. The bikes on site were a wonderful bonus. The house was neat & clean and stocked with everything one could need to enjoy their stay.

Just perfect

This place was perfect for a few nights while on Jekyll Island for work. I only wish we could have been there in warm weather (to enjoy using the complimentary beach gear and bikes) and I also would have loved to stay longer. Proactive and helpful communication from hosts. I highly recommend and hope to return.

Perfect Stay

Spent 5 days at Sandy Toes. Could not have been more pleased. Everything was very clean and inviting. The back yard was perfect for the dogs to wonder and relax while we played corn hole. I will absolutely be staying here again next year when we visit Jekyll.

Wonderful Stay!

I highly recommend this property! A very lovey, comfortable cottage. The owners are awesome. Everything set up perfectly and the property is so well cared for. Loved having access to the bikes. Can’t say enough good things about the experience. Very convenient to the beach and close to everything. Quiet lovely street. Made our stay so nice and relaxing.

Family and Dog Friendly

Cute cottage within an easy bike/drive to the beach and many restaurants. Well equipped and clean. Plenty of bikes which was a bonus for our family. Owners are easy to communicate with if you have any questions or issues.

Fun in the sun

Stay was great. House was perfect for us and our dog. The island is so dog friendly. Restaurants were all good. Weather couldn't have been better. The only downside is I am covered in chigger bites, but well worth it.

Short But Sweet

The property was exceptional! Clean, located really close to the beach, tons of outdoor space, and incredibly stocked with everything you need! Awesome communication by Don and Marcia, plenty of towels, beach equipment, and a washer and dryer made staying with our toddler and golden doodle extremely fun and stress free. Highly recommend and excited to come back some day!

Excellent!

Don and Marcia were so kind and welcoming to us and our dog. The house is cute, comfortable, and really clean (and I am super picky about cleanliness). Lots of little extras (beach towels, books/games/puzzles, snacks, bikes),the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and it’s a short walk to the beach. I don’t think it’s mentioned in the listing, but the back yard is fully fenced, so it was great to have a place to let our dog play. We would definitely stay again!

Great little spot!

We were traveling with our puppy and found this place that looked to have exactly what we needed in a good location on the island. Everything about the process was smooth and the owners were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, due to weather, we weren't able to enjoy some of the amenities provided (bikes, beach items, etc) but they had everything available that one might need for their stay and entertainment. Great choice!

Great Jekyll Property!

We've stayed at a lot of houses on Jekyll over the years, from now on this will be our first call. Great house, clean, well-kept. Cozy, but plenty of room for our family. Wonderful location, short walk from the beach. Cleaner and better maintained than a lot of Jekyll rentals. Hosts are friendly and welcoming and helpful. Zero complaints. We absolutely will be back.

Great!

Great location - very central. Easy walk to the beach and easy to hop on the bike trail. The unit was very clean. Don and Marcia thought about the details and we had everything we needed. We were also happy to see that the patio and porch furniture were clean! (We’ve stayed places where that wasn’t the case!) We would not hesitate to stay again!

Great location and amenities

This was the perfect place for my husband, dog and me to get away. It is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked. It has nice outdoor space in front and back and is very close to the beach and golf course. Lots of extras like bikes, beach chairs and umbrella and more. Don and Marcia are very responsive with answers to questions. I hope we can make it back again soon!

Salty Toes Stay was exceptional!

Loved this location for easy access to everything on the island. Such an easy walk to the beach. Bikes in great condition so we biked the entire island. Hosts were delightful and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided. Our dogs loved it too. We love to travel so rarely return many times to the same location but we will 100 percent return to Jekyll and this property. The history on the island is so interesting and again, such close proximity to the historic district with easy access by bike. Lovely trails. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome getaway, we'll be back!

This was a great property. #1, we were thrilled to walk in and see they have cable TV. Real-deal cable television instead of the smart TV where we have to bring the device to make it work. Big thumbs up for us. Kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, all met our needs. The owners saved us a boatload in bike rentals by having bikes there for our use. Don and Marcia were super nice and accomodating and we look forward to staying with them again when we return to the area.

Wonderful stay

This small cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. It was immaculately clean, which we appreciated very much. The hosts/owners were very friendly and responded very quickly and efficiently even though our booking was last minute. Location was ideal for us, a short walk to the beach (5-7 minutes). Maybe the most impressive thing about this property was the attention to detail that the owners showed. They have a beach umbrella, beach chairs, and a cart to pull your beach gear easily with you to the beach. They have yard games in the beautiful backyard that we enjoyed and bikes available to use, plenty of towels, etc… there really wasn’t anything we could think of to add to this property. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was easy to adjust. The refrigerator was spotless. We will most certainly plan to return.

Weekend on Jekyll Island

We were looking for a one-level pet friendly place for our family of 4 plus dog on Jekyll Island. Don's place was great for us. Plenty of space for our family, large backyard with games for the kids (cornhole, ladderball) and tons of bikes! Don was responsive and helpful getting one of the smaller bikes in shape for my youngest to ride while we were there. The house has everything that you would need from beach chairs and toys to towels, toiletries, laundry and DW detergent, coffee filters, etc. The central location made it easy to bike to the beach, mini golf and the historic district with the kids. We had the opportunity to see the other side of the duplex and one of Don's other properties during our stay. We love visiting Jekyll Island and would definitely stay in one of Don's properties on a return visit.

Awesome beach house

My boyfriend, myself, and our pup stayed at this gorgeous property for a quick weekend trip and I am obsessed! The house is even more beautiful than the photos show- gorgeous big backyard with games and lots of space, a quick walk to the beach through a beautiful well kept neighborhood. The convenience of the included bikes was so great as well- made getting to and from places very easily. I also had the pleasure of meeting the hosts while they checked out the attached unit and got to take a tour of the other unit (also so gorgeous!) and they were incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations. We will definitely be back to stay at this place!
