5BR, 4.5BA! Waterfront Canal, Marsh Views

Please message us for off season and longer term renrals. 5 Bedroom / 4.5 bath home located on quiet Lee Street. Lee Street is unique as the last canal street allowing you to enjoy views of the marsh and intracoastal waterway from the front porch OR canal side on the back deck, patio, or dock.

House is perfect for families with 2 bedrooms/1.5 baths downstairs and 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms upstairs. 1 King & 2 Queen Beds Upstairs, 1 Queen & 1 Queen + Loft Twin Downstairs. Spacious living room to relax in after a long day at the beach.

Large kitchen with plenty of counter space and storage. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and other basics, just bring your own food and beverages. Dining area seats 8 with additional 4 seats at the island.

There is no shortage of outside seating options to enjoy the beautiful weather OIB offers. Outdoor bar with Roku WiFi TV added Summer 2022.

Washer/dryer located on the 2nd floor.

Guests are welcome to bring their boat. Driveway able to accommodate multiple vehicles, as well as, boat trailer if needed. Canal is deep enough to navigate at low tide. Shore power and fresh water available at dock for use.

Linens and bath towels included and provided by our cleaners.

Home away from Home!

Our family enjoyed the home for the week at OIB, all 10 of us! Our family rents canal homes every year and this was one of the top homes we have rented for our vacations. Hosts have thought of all the things. And then some! Highly recommend.

The house is in a great location. The kitchen had all the essentials. The home is very clean and includes towels and linens. The outdoor area was a great benefit. We brought our boat and the dock was in good repair with a good water level. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Great stay

Home was really nice and the location was awesome. Only thing missing was the boat,but we don't have one. The kitchen was stocked amazingly, and the "beach toys/chairs" were plentiful. The kids and adults enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the dock. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay

Property is very well kept in a nice location. Kitchen well stocked. My only feedback is the amount of towels available. We were 10 with 9 towels. It was a wonderful house for our family to stay for 2 nights while attending a wedding in the area.

Wonderful Stay on OIB

This house was a perfect getaway for a week with our family. Our three daughters had a blast in the canal and only a short walk to the ocean. Quiet street, safe with few cars, and kind neighbors. Host was accessible, accommodating, and helpful at each step. No problems whatsoever. Home is exactly as listed and a comfortable and restful space to enjoy family time. We would absolutely stay again!

Family Vaca on OIB

The property comes fully as advertised. Inviting and clean, it has the space and extras to help make for a relaxing week with the family. The owners have gone overboard to make sure that everything is setup as expected and is readily available to answer any questions. Would recommend this location for anyone looking for access to the beach, while wanting the views of the back bay areas. Thanks for sharing this wonderful home.

Great House!

Took the family down for the week and had a wonderful time! The boat dock was the selling point for me, it has power and water which was awesome for my 23 foot skiff. We enjoyed watching sports on the outside TV at night and enjoyed the very well appointed kitchen. We will certainly be back!

Great long weekend at OIB!

We are longtime vacationers to OIB, but almost always book beachfront. First time trying a house on a canal, and the whole group loved it! This house was well outfitted and clean, and we loved all the outdoor areas to gather, especially the back porch and the downstairs bar with TV. Would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

We had a great week at this house in Ocean Isle. We could enjoy the canal on the back side, the marsh views on the front side, and a quick golf cart ride to the beach. We never had any trouble parking at beach accesses. The house is towards the end of a side street so very little traffic at all- very quiet. The house was great for my husband and me, our 2 boys ages 17 and 18, and my parents. It didn’t impact us since we only needed 4 bedrooms, but the 5th bedroom is on the main floor with no attached bathroom- easily accessible to the half bath and directly across from a bedroom with an attached bath so would work well for a family with young kids. The kitchen was especially well equipped and the house was very clean and well maintained.

Great place!

Awesome location! Home was well furnished and spacious! Nice view and perfect docking for our boat. We enjoyed riding from canal into the ICW! Enjoyed eating lunch at the Provision company in both South Port and Holden.

Very nice 5 bedroom on the canal

Nice 5 bedroom house with nice front and back decks and a tiki bar with tv downstairs. Big kitchen with build in refrigerator and beverage mini fridge. Dock on canal of yoi have a boat. Rent a golfcart to get around the island. Overall a great beach house.

Great waterfront house

Our family really enjoyed our week at OIB. This house was a great place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed all the outside seating and loved being on a canal as well as being close to the beach. Being on a canal allowed us to park our boat and enjoy the waterway at our convenience. Looking forward to renting again.

Fabulous Family Reunion!

Army Buddies at the Beach

Everyone had a wonderful time together catching up, making new memories, and cruising around OIB. We all had our own bedroom and no one had to share a bathroom. We enjoyed having meals at home, out and about, and being beach bums. We had a blast playing putt putt golf and walking the pier. Old friendships were rekindled and new one were made with the women in the group. One of our best vacations yet and I can't wait to see what we'll do next year. I highly recommend OIB for fun in the sun 🌞 and to relax on beach time.

Great vacation

The owner was terrific and easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for us and it was nice to have our boat there all week. The golf cart we rented worked well but the house is close enough to the beach that it’s not a big problem without a cart.

Family Vacation

This trip was our first to OIB and this house was very good for our needs. It's very clean and well appointed, having everything we needed and then some. Even though we had no significant issues, the owners did a great job communicating with us to make sure we were comfortable and safe. The canal side was perfect for docking our rented boat for the week and throwing a cast net for bait. The other side of the house has amazing marsh views that displayed constantly changing beauty and wildlife. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.
