El club de playa es un complejo privado de tres pisos, cerrado. El Beach Club es un edificio en forma de U que se encuentra en la arena, no hay ninguna calle ocupada o malecón que le separa de la playa. Tiene su propia piscina climatizada, bañera de hidromasaje jacuzzi y zona de barbacoa en el amplio atrio en el jardín.

Su unidad # 104 es un alquiler de vacaciones de 2 dormitorios, con una terraza solárium extra grande y soleada para tomar el sol y cenas privadas. La terraza tiene vista al océano y al hermoso Dunes Park y a un maravilloso parque infantil.

Excellent patio views of the IB Pier. Can be a bit noisy if you like to sleep in as the bedroom windows open onto the pool area

Sandiegovacation rental imoerial beach club

Not a clean beach, could not get in ocean all week due to sewage, was to be non smoking but the unit next to us smoked all weekend and the property manager was no help. Do not waste your time staying here.

Summer holiday

We loved this property the location to the beach to the pier and to go into SAN Diego for our holiday. All of the facilities in the apartment were fantastic comfortable the pool and hot tub was just outside our room. I was a little worried when I read the reviews that someone had put that the apartment was worn out and dirty but this was not true. It was not immaculate and it was a little worn In places but not how some body had portrayed the property to be. We also asked if we could have an extra night as we had not booked enough nights and I had had confirmation back within a couple of hours from the owner. We could not recommend this property enough go and have fun

Few maintenance issues upon arrival. Shower door in master made a very loud squeaky noise when opening. Kitchen sink was leaking and there were small gnats everywhere. Maintenance guy said they had a plumbing issue prior. But we had to throw some of our just cooked food away because of the bugs invading. So that was a bit upsetting. Other than that everything was ok.

Comfortable, clean, well-maintained, and 'pretty' great location

The condo was asthe pictures showed and even more spacious than I imagined. The kitchen was well equipped, newly rennovated, appliances in good shape, and the deck had a nice table for 6. Everything was great except 2 things.... it IS SoCal near TJ, so.... the odor of weed is frequent and the ocean water is "contaminated". If you don't care to go into the water ok, otherwise, you'll have to see which beaches north of Imperial are considered safe. We drove to Coronado Beach, which was lovely, but we always choose a waterfront property for the view and for the purpose of conveniently getting INTO the water. The day we arrived, we wandered out to the sand and immediately noticed a sign warning against swimming bc it "could cause serious illness". We traveled 3k miles..why weren't we informed?!?! ..nothing to be done about it, so we headed north for time in the water. After being there over a day I got a call from a property manager saying something about the dryer being broken as if we'd already spoken about it. We had not. She wanted to have a new one delivered the next morning....fine. No problem at all. The next morning she's there with some maintenance guys, so I hought I'd ask about the water and why were weren't informed? She went off on a tangent about politics and how people go in the water all the time...inferring the closure was not necessary and Coronado was open bc of some political preferential treatment, different ways to test the water, etc. What? I asked why the property manager did not inform us? When I asked again... she then rambled on about how the water is/isnt 'safe' and couldn't be planned for. This is NOT what the lifeguards nor a nearby shop owner told us. The shop owner who was in his 60s said it's been like that his whole life. Then she got rude....and one of the maintenance guys COMPLETELY lied saying I complained about their presence. I said no such thing. If the company had simply told us about the water, I'd have thanked them for the info and planned accordingly. The rude snotty excuses from the property manager is the one and only reason I will not return to this property. And btw... the name of the owner is NOT the same people you'll interact with. The owner hires a group that is not listed on VRBO.

Needs maintenance

I enjoyed the location and property but this unit was run down. Dishwasher leaked, dryer loud and door loose, patio needs repainting, couches worn, blankets dingy and floors need deep cleaning.

The condo was nice. Beach was out your back patio. Places to eat and shop close by. Only draw back was 20 to 30 minute drive to other sights in san diego

Great Condo

I stay at these condos every time I visit IB. This unit was by far the best. It was clean, well stocked with matching dishes, pans, plenty of towels. It even had a very nice fire pit in the patio with plenty of seating. I will definitely look to rent this until again when I go to IB. Only issue was there was not soap for the dishwasher so we bought some. :)

Per pictures condo seems to be clean and updated. Not the case. The floor has not been cleaned in MONTHS if ever! Bedding is pathetic, I have been to junky motels with better pillows. Beach access is NOT from patio but from around the building off the street. Overall condition of condo if run down and plain gross. I read another review that shares my opinion, I wish I would have listened.

Wonderful family holiday getaway!

We had a great time in Imperial Beach and San Diego! The beach and ocean was steps away and the sunsets were incredible! The beach was nice and not very crowded. We had two questions about the property of which the owner and san diego vacations responded right away. Nothing ended up being broken we just couldn't find the property info which was in a drawer in a table in the living room. We highly recommend this property.

VACATION SAVED

This is an annual vacation that I have taken for years. This is the second time I have stayed in this unit. I love the large patio and clean and comfy décor inside. This year was even better because the owner now has beach chairs and we did not have to purchase our own - fulfillment of last years request. However, San Diego Vacation Rental was the saving grace this year. While stepping into the elevator I dropped my keys which immediately disappeared through the slot and down into the elevator shaft. This happened just as the office was closing. So there was no car keys for the evening. I contacted the office when they opened at 9am and before 11am Trisha was knocking at our door with keys in hand at no charge. I cannot thank them enough for saving my vacation!

Nice, Quiet Getaway

So glad I booked here! Unit 104 is breathtakingly beautiful. The ground level patio is the best part. (Oceanfront). Imperial Beach is a very quiet town without the hussle and bustle of city noise. You can easily drive into San Diego which is an easy 15-20 minute drive.

Great location, unit worn out/dirty, a bit of a shame

It's in a terrific location, right on the beach, next to a clean, well-maintained park with several eateries in walking distance. This property appears to have been remodeled some time ago or has just been heavily used without much maintenance over time. The pictures were likely taken immediately after it had been remodeled, because it is no where near as clean as it appears there. Several floor tiles popped when walking on, the front door lock was worn out, the backdoor jam was split, the fridge made popping noises and ran loud, dining room light bulb burned out, dishwasher didn't clean or dry well, windows were disgustingly dirty and outdoor table was filthy with broken/rusted chairs. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired (and we paid a sizable cleaning fee, I'd imagine all renters do); the floors were dirty upon arrival (our feet were grimy after walking barefoot on tile), the windows overlooking the beach were spotted with caked on dirt and salt, so bad you literally were looking through clouds of stuff and nowhere was there a clean view of the beach except on the patio. The kitchen cabinets stunk, the cookware looked to be acquired at Goodwill (hodgepodge and most in poor condition). The dining room chairs were heavily soiled and stained, the couch and sitting chairs were dirty and worn out. It was dirty enough we washed all cookware/dishes/flatware by hand before using. The limited items supplied (2 beach towels, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper for a property that sleeps 7?, and not one dishrag or kitchen towel to be found) is absurd. Renters next door commented their unit was spotless with a list of expectations on the renters part. This might be needed in this unit to preserve what's there. However, the bedding and towels were clean, smelled fresh and the bathrooms were clean, though well used (mildew and chips in hallway bathroom). The mattresses were comfortable. Noise in this unit was to be expected in a multi-floor unit, we had little kids running upstairs from early AM until late PM. The pool area was clean and well appointed. We will definitely return to Imperial Beach, likely this community even, but not this unit. Was not what was described or shown in pictures, but we still had a terrific experience with the area and all it has to offer.
