IMPORTANT NOTICE BECAUSE OF HURRICANE DORIAN: Dorian hit the northern Islands of the Bahamas (Abaco, Grand Bahama). Our prayers are with the people on these islands! New Providence / Nassau had no impact and we only got wind with ~ 30mph and some waves at the beach but nothing that causes any damages etc. The power in New Providence got restored on Monday evening! Please note, the Bahamas have more than 700 islands and only the northern islands got hit by the hurricane! Our property has no damage of any kind, new providence is safe!!!
The Garden Cottage is located on a private Property only 50ft from the Orange Hill beach with white sand and crystal blue water! You will reach it through the Main gate in the Backyard with a small terrasse for relaxing and a beautiful area with palms and coconut trees! The Cottage itself has a bedroom with a double size bed, Rack for clothes, small working space, Bathroom with shower and a small area for cooking (Toaster, Microwave, Electric Stove, Fritch) - Everything you will need for your vacation in the Bahamas! Over the bed is a 50" Flat TV installed, and of course, Wifi and Online TV are included! Restaurants like Dinos Chonc Station, Italien Pizzaria, Louis & Steen's New Orleans Coffeehouse are in walking distance (5-10 Minutes). More Restaurants and Bars are about 15 Minutes to the east. Grocery Stores and Liquor stores are about 10 Minutes driving. The Public Bus Service is stopping directly in front of the House and will bring you within 20 Minutes to Downtown Nassau or Paradise Island.
