*Complimentary access to Sandpiper Cove’s five sparkling swimming pools and three hot tubs located conveniently throughout the property along with charcoal grills, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts and a pitch and putt 9-hole golf course. Two of our pools are heated for your comfort during the winter months. On-premises food, The Sand Flea (beachside Tiki-Bar open March-October) and Louisiana Lagniappe (upscale seafood waterfront dining with a Creole flair, with casual attire permitted.)

Great location!

Uncomfortable and not well kept. Furnished horribly. Mild consistent odor musty/mold. We came to see the beach and we love the location, for a short trip this condo was like camping: fun, but uncomfortable and a little funky.

Be Careful of the Unit you Rent

The Sand Piper Cove Community is an ok place to stay but the unit we stayed in was sub standard with very little pride of ownership. Sleeping arrangements were super uncomfortable and we almost left early. Just be aware of what you are renting.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nice simple place. My only complaint is that we're 4 people stayed in this place and there's only 3 big towels with other small towels.. And all the sockets for the electric needs to be updated or changed. They all loose . I charged my phone and thought it would be charged but it's not . Because all the sockets are loose. Everything is good except those things, loose thread sockets.Need more towels !

I'm all about comfort!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I take a vacation, I like to kick back and relax. Comfortable furniture is key when trying to do that. Unfortunately, unit 1015 came up very short in this area. The blue velvet couch is completely worn out and tilts to the front. You feel like you're going to slide off on the floor while attempting to sit on it. The other couch is not much better. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable as well. This unit really needs an update when it comes to the furnishings.Thats the bad now the good. The unit was clean and quiet. We love the complex, and our stay was very enjoyable. I highly recommend a furniture update on this unit as soon as possible. other than that, we have no complaints.

One HUGE Disappointment After 5 GREAT Stays

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We left 25 days early! Condo 1015 NOT even close to usual SPC standards! On arrival toilet didn't flush, patio door didn't open, light bulb out, ants in kitchen, one missing bifold door over closet, ETC. Furniture broken, uncomfortable, nonexistent (NO drawer or shelf space in bedroom for clothes). Safety issues: No GFI outlet and heater in bathroom "popping" noise. Too many things to list. Finally the kitchen sink was clogged for 4 DAYS. The maintenance dept. did their Very Best throughout our stay and everyone else did the best they could. The unit has potential because it has a nice location and floorplan. The OWNER needs to Step Up to SPC standards!

Reviewer Comments: The remodeling/updating work done in this condo was apparently a DIY job gone wrong!The quality of the furniture, and lack of storage and supplies, matched the poor workmanship.No ice maker in the freezer even though it says they have one in the description of the unit on the website.Have been staying at Sandpiper Cove since 1985. Sadly, it’s not what it use to be.

Pleasant stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I enjoyed Sandpiper Cove. The condo itself was a little disappointing, unit 1015 is a little outdated, door missing off of bedroom closet, and was located way in the back of the complex. However, the unit was right next to one of the pools, clean, and was stocked with all the essentials we needed. While there we had a plumbing issue and the staff was great in relocating us and correcting the issue. We would definitely stay at Sandpiper Cove again, just in a different unit.

The only issue is the description states this unit has a washer and dryer. But this is not the case. There is a facility to use nearby but thats not how it is described. Washer and dryers are 1.50 per wash and per dry. This was unexpected for us since the description clearly says washer and dryer. I definitely would have chosen a different unit had this description been accurate.other than that it was good. A little outdated.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sandpiper Cove multiple times and had good experiences. Condo 1015 was a total disappointment. The unit needs updating and many repairs. The sliding door to the patio didn’t lock. The front door was difficult to unlock and lock. The freezer had a lock on it to keep it shut. There is a king headboard with a queen box spring and mattress pushed up against the headboard. Bedroom closet door was missing. Floor tiles are chipped and cracked in bathroom. Furniture is old and outdated.
