Walking Distance to the Beach

Love the location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family. Everyone enjoyed their stay as it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely will stay again!

perfect beach house for a larger family

perfect for our family! easy walk to the beach but was able to drive and park at public beach access! loved the outdoor shower after coming off the beach! would def stay again! loved it

Perfect location. Our friends were able to park at our house and walk to the beach with us every day. Very comfortable.

Good location to KDH beach

Overall, the property was good. It is close to the beach being only a 10 min walk across one busy road. The house was well stocked with all necessary utensils, pots & pans, and dishes. The only issue we had was that some of the bed sheets and pillows were not clean.

Great location

Pros- Location is great lots of things to do, very close to beach. Plenty of room for my family. Cons- Not very clean when we arrived. Arms of couches stained and gross. Front door leaked during one rain storm. We were told to be courteous to the neighbors after 10pm. Neighbors didn’t get the memo. Nothing to ruin our stay, but probably wouldn’t return to this specific house.

The only thing I can say positive about this house was the location. The siding and deck look very newly replaced, the screened in porch was not screened in as shown in photos, which was a bummer due to mosquitos and was one of the reasons we chose the house. The front door does not stay shut unless fully locked which is a safety issue. The house was not cleaned very well. The first night we had to buy a shower liner as the downstairs shower liner had very visible dark mold. After changing that ourselves we found out the tub did not drain. My friend had to pull a disgusting clump of hair and misc out of the drain. The next morning we went to make breakfast, pulled one bowl out and it still had red crusty food on it so had to wash all the dishes, pots & pans as they looked dirty too. The coffee maker was not clean either. 2 nights into our stay we discovered the odor in the upstairs queen bedroom was pee. The mattress topper heavily stained and the mattress below even more stained dark yellow. Washed all the bedding and bought extra bedding at the nearby target but my daughter just couldn't bring herself to sleep on it again and slept on the floor. There was old dried cheese and crumbs in and on coffee table. A press on nail in outdoor shower. Unpleasant experience all around. I did email Kees vacation regarding concerns during our stay and no offer to correct until the day prior to departure to have housekeeping come. If we could have afforded to move we would have.

Not oceanview & needs work

Not as advertised (oceanfront). Screens on screened porch torn so flies got in, roach in upstairs bathroom, bathroom shower floors chipped up, faucets gross, microwave handle broke off, my son got severely burned trying to adjust noisy icemaker. Check in process not clear and door code provided late.
