Experience the ultimate family getaway at Dicky Beach Original Beach House. Cater for your extended family with a breezy 4-bedroom house upstairs (sleeps 8), a newly renovated 2-bedroom self-contained apartment downstairs (sleeps 4), and a boho inspired glamping tent in the backyard (sleeps 4). With room for up to 16 guests, everyone will be comfortably accommodated.

Watch a movie on your huge outdoor movie theatre, kick off your family reunion around the fire pit, challenge each other to a game of table tennis or explore the stunning coastal pathways.

Walk just metres to the best cafes, restaurants, and bars along the popular Dicky Beach esplanade. The perfect family beach day is an easy 90-second walk away. Fill the beach cart with the provided beach essentials such as gazebo, boogie boards, beach towels and toys.

Rinse off under the outdoor shower and indulge in a luxurious hot bubble bath. Grab supplies from the neighbouring IGA, bottleshop or pharmacy or visit the local butcher to enjoy a BBQ on the top deck overlooking the waves. If you prefer dining out, there are plenty of options including fish and chips, pizza, Thai, Japanese, or the Dicky Beach Surf Club.

While the kids keep themselves entertained, unwind with your favourite beverage by the fire. Retreat to your beautifully decorated bell tent or choose from one of six stylishly furnished bedrooms with comfortable new mattresses.

Dream about tomorrow's adventures, whether it's strolling along the coastal pathway, breakfast and a swim at nearby Currimundi Lake, discovering the Sunshine Coast's hidden gems, or visiting nearby world class attractions such as Australia Zoo, Aussie World, or the famous Glasshouse Mountains.

We understand that your furry friend is part of the family too. Your dog will love the nearby dog-friendly cafes, off leash park and off-leash beach, just a 5-minute walk away.

We are strictly a no party or events house. Non family based groups, must contact us prior to booking. Please also read house rules and rental agreement prior to booking.

Please note: For security and insurance purposes the house has external motion sensored security cameras covering all entry points. To ensure guest privacy, cameras are only checked in the instance of any security breaches or reported issues.

Awesome place

The house was amazing with shops close and just a few minutes walk to the beach it was a fantastic holiday.Hosts have everything you need to make the family welcome toys.games it was truly a great place.

Lovely old Queenslander. Renovated beautifully & very comfortable. Has lots of stairs which may preclude some people. Lots of little pleasantries supplied so welcoming feeling. Thanks for great stay.

Amazing Holiday Home for Families!

We had an amazing weekend away at Dicky Beach Original Beach House. It was the perfect setting for our extended family to catch up, and everyone had their own space to retreat to when needed. The hosts have truly thought of everything. It is a home away from home. We stayed in winter so enjoyed an evening by the fire, which was so easy to use. The glamping tent is a highlight - it is so special. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Dicky Beach House

The house was fantastic for our 5 night stay in summer. The house is fully catered to all beach activities, entertaining. We were two families with primary school aged kids and there was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs.

Family reunion

Absolutely beautiful home. Location is amazing. The kids could go for walks to shops, skate park and beach. I personally love Queenslander homes and this one is gorgeous.

Perfect for our large family group

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at this lovely home with our large extended family. Both upstairs and downstairs accommodation are beautifully presented and very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Our grandchildren loved the experience of sleeping and hanging out in the glamping tent. The outdoor theatre set up was also a great hit. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Who could wish for more

Perfect accommodation for a large extended family. It met all our needs and surpassed our expectations. Even though the weather was not the best there was no shortage of diversions and entertainments within the premises. There was nothing you had not thought of, Sam and Chris

Fantastic!

We had a fantastic 7-night stay! The house was perfect for our large family (18 people) and 2 dogs and we had the best week - first time ever we had all been together . Location is very handy for everything - beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. House itself kept everyone occupied with its facilities and entertainment options - table tennis, fire pit, two good sized kitchens, televisions, games and more. Chris and Sam were great hosts - communication was clear and responsive. Thank you again! We’ll be recommending to others and hope to be back x

The perfect spot for an extended family or friends vacation. The house is immaculately presented and cleaned. Everything you need and multiple lounging, eating and relaxing areas gave everyone the room to spread out or mingle as they wished. The location is unbeatable in a lovely quiet, family area with almost everything you need a 30 second walk away. The beach is only about 3 mins away and patrolled area only 250m away.. Hosts could not have been more helpful and always responded immediately to any communications. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A relaxing weekend in the perfect location

The Dicky Beach Original Beach House was the perfect location for a weekend away with friends. The hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful, providing snacks on arrival and the comfiest robes. The house was extremely clean, tidy and beautifully presented. Everything we needed was right there and you never needed to leave. When you did, it was a two minute walk to the beautiful beach or the local shops and cafes. The glamping tent was amazing and it was great to sit out the back by the fire and have a BBQ. I would definitely recommend booking the Dicky Beach Original Beach House and hope to visit again!

Gorgeous beach house for the whole family

This beautiful home away from home was absolutely perfect in every way. From its gorgeous spacious clean rooms with comfortable beds inside, to its myriad of lovely outdoor areas, it couldn't be faulted. We had breakfasts, lunches, drinks and dinners on the lovely deck with its huge table and lots of chairs for everyone. The barbecue was a dream. We also loved the outdoor cinema and well-stocked firepit and the cosy seating area shaded by the gorgeous yellow Allamanda vine. We all had fun with table tennis, but never quite got to use the provided bikes or even the super cool glamping tent. The property is also in a great position with lots of shops and cafes nearby as well as the beach and a lovely walking trail along its front. Sam was also very responsive, friendly and helpful at all times. We had the most wonderful 3 nights there with our family of 7 adults, 1 baby and 2 doggies. We would love to return.

Amazing Stay

Our family had the best quality time together at Dicky Beach Original. The accommodation was perfectly presented on arrival. Access was efficient. Goodies were a really treat. The accommodation was lovely with every amenity provided. The Glamping Tent was an absolute highlight. The included activities and games were fantastic and provided so many family fun times. Location, Location, Location. Plus Sam and Chris provider fast and helpful communication, fantastic hosts. We highly recommend this accommodation and will be back.

The perfect stay

This is such a beautifully appointed home in the perfect location. From the moment I stepped into the house, it was apparent that the hosts are very passionate about what they do. From the giant stunning balcony from which I could see glimpses of the ocean while enjoying breakfast in the sunshine, to the relaxing baths and luxury products provided, everything was absolutely perfect. The furniture was comfortable and stylish. The home retains a wonderful colonial charm, while boasting all of the modern appliances you would hope for. Highly recommended. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Perfect Beach Stay In A Beautiful Home With Thoughtful Hosts

Before I even began our visit I knew I'd made the right choice to book a surprise family trip to this home at Dicky Beach for my wife's birthday. Hosts Sam & Chris were lovely, very approachable, responsive & welcoming & went the extra mile even arranging a Happy Birthday banner to greet us as we entered the home.As soon as my family arrived there were delighted smiles all round. My teenager was super impressed with the glamping tent & ping pong table & my dog was equally impressed with a fully fenced yard & the nice walk to & around Dicky Beach. My wife & I just thought everything about the property was perfect.The home itself is a beautifully presented queenslander with all the mod cons & carefully thought out renovations to ensure everybody is more than comfortable. Lots of room, lots of local options for dinner at home in this beautiful space or quick trip to the Surf Club, or local eateries. We found the home so beautiful just to be in that if we most enjoyed eating on the deck where we could catch a sea breeze & enjoy the view.In short, lovely hosts, beautiful home & perfect location. 10/10
