Very clean and well situated. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as stated. Kayaks, canoe and we didn’t use the paddle boat but it was there! Not a swimming area but our stay was in Sept. and the water was cold , when I fell in!LOL

We spent two beautiful nights at this place. Everything was the same as described. The view was amazing and we enjoyed the canoeing at the lake. She was responding on time and respectful and brought us some treats for the holiday. Thanks for everything 🥰

The property met our needs to visit with family for a few days. The water level on the lake was too high; the dock was underwater and we couldn’t use the canoe or kayak. However, we made good use of the fire pit with everyone enjoying it by the lake. Overall it was good.

Beautiful property, herons and kingfishers over the lake all the time with beautiful water lilies. Cottage was clean and well kept. Flatware and pots and pans all provided. We had a nice relaxing stay.

Just as advertised.

We enjoyed our week long stay very much. Property was clean, host was responsive, no complaints at all!! We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and canoe. Would definitely rebook.

Lots of space for 10 people. Inside renovations were very nice.Because of all the heat and lack of rain the water level was very low but we still had a great time.

Very relaxing getaway from the city

We all wanted a break from our busy lives and this was a great place to stay. The property had ample parking. The rooms were comfy and with the extra bed linens made it very cozy. There was a dishwasher, ice machine, and laundry machines which were unexpected but very grateful to have. Both AC and heating options available. Everyone had a great time!

The outdoors had multiple tripping hazards including deck and fences that were not well maintained/needed repair. The doors were very difficult to open and the code was too long to remember/enter each time. Providing towels for the bathrooms would be very helpful. Potable water should also be provided if there are issues with the well going dry. No swimming available from the shore d/t lily pad/seaweed. Also no ability to dock a boat despite being a waterfront cottage. There was also only A/C in the common areas not in the bedrooms.

​Thank you for taking the time to share  your feedback! Guest comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we  appreciate you helping us improve. ​Maintenance & Safety: We immediately inspected and addressed the outdoor deck and fence areas to ensure  everything is secure and safe for future stays. We also checked the doors; while humidity by the lake can sometimes  cause wood to expand, we’ve serviced them so they open smoothly. ​Amenities & Comfort: While we keep  extra towels and potable water  available upon request, we appreciate your feedback and are looking at ways  to make these even more accessible. ​Water Access & AC: We strive for full  transparency in our listing description,  including details about shore  conditions, public boat launches,  nearby swimming beaches (like Emily Provincial Park), and our cooling  setup (common area powerful AC units supplemented by  bed room fans). ​Thank you again for staying with us,  and we wish you a wonderful rest of  your summer!

The house was plenty roomy for 7 people for sleeping. I would point out that the bed sheets in bedroom #3 were in bad shape- the bottom sheet was covered in small hard balls called pilling, I think- which was pretty uncomfortable. but everything was pretty good.

We have many happy memories from our stay. Our two year old granddaughter developed a love for fishing and being outdoors. I enjoyed the early morning sunrises and the quiet around the cottage, even at 3 and 4 in the morning when the dog needed to be outside for a pee. I could see the stars and admire the wonder of the night sky. The internet connection was super helpful when both my son and daughter needed to connect to their offices and work remotely. Even though it rained most of the week, we enjoyed the indoor spaces. The neighbours are all very friendly, polite and lovely people as we met several of them whenever we walked the dog.

The cottage interior was very clean, modern and had all the amenities we needed. The property and the neighbourhood were very quiet and friendly; it was enjoyable to have a good night’s sleep. There are quite few good walking trials nearby. Our family dog and I especially enjoyed the Trans Cda Trail. We didn’t use the supplied cottage watercraft but they were as described in the host’s description. We thought the cottage exterior looked a bit disappointing but that was more than compensated for by the clean, modern interior and the promptness with which the host responded to our messages. Given the lack of rain this summer we (and the host) recommend purchasing drinking water which is readily available at Foodland in Omemee.

Walking trail very close by for dog walking was a bonus.Lots of room, well furnished, thoughtful and convenient variety of herbs , well stocked kitchen utensils.And back up supplies of toilet paper,paper towels, tin foil etc Good parking too.Paddle boat was the only disappointment.Lazy boy chair was very useful for my sore back.
