This condo was uncomfortable. The couches were pretty strange and very uncomfortable. The bed in the master was extremely uncomfortable. It just didn’t quite check all the boxes for us. The view was incredible, but would have been from any of the condos.

Beach

The condo was very nice and clean. The washing machine and dryer are definitely on their last let though so if you plan on washing clothes I would do it during day because the washing machine is LOUD. Other than that we would definitely stay again .

3 nights over Easter break

This was a perfect quick trip for our family. Pensacola beach is beautiful and the Beach Club is as well. Memorable trip. Will definitely be back soon.

Needs attention

The online description says sleeps 8 but the couch beds were filthy, moldy, just disgusting. No one could sleep on them. Fire alarm intermittently went off for a day and a half until repairman removed them because they didn't know why they were malfunctioning. mold on ceiling of one bedroom, stove took forever to warm up. The place needs attention to say the least. I don't know who is suppose to be taking care of condo but someone needs to look at unit and do some updating/cleaning and repairs.

The property and Amenities where great. I had seen poor reviews after booking this unit about poor quality furnishings and cleanliness. I actually had Email exchange assurances all would have been updated and fine. We found this particular unit substantially below our expectations…especially since we paid a premium price. And who does not have a pod coffee pot??? Den, Dinning and Master Bedroom are Horrible!! And by all means, do not walk on any floors without shoes. I am giving sincere, and maybe not so severe results. I am trying to be polite.

Beach Club 1202

Floor plan was great, kitchen well stocked for cooking and baking , plates/utensils:/ cups/ beverage glasses. Cleanliness- upon arrival floors were dirty, sand on furniture Pocket door in bathroom needs repair ( was addressed by property management ) Barbecue Pitt broken and is eyesore Dining Glass table legs are wobbly and huge is light is not centered 2 family members hit head in light ( and constant reminding about light ) The light does not appear secured in ceiling, concern it might fall down. TV size in family room appeared to be about 40 inches/ not appropriate for space. Couches in family room are stained/ all zippers that attach back pillows to couch are broken this is unattractive, appear cheap- not an inviting/ relaxing place to sit. The images on website were not reflective of property ( for example light over dining table was shown as centered/ couches in good condition )

Beautiful View

This property is perfectly located in Pensacola Beach and the view was amazing. The condo is a very nice size and was perfect for our family of 5. Our youngest kids stayed in the bunk room, our 18 year old stayed in the queen room and us in the master. The kitchen is very nice and very well stocked. My only recommendation is that some of the furnishings need an upgrade. The beds were really squeaky to the extent that when you would turn over, the squeaking would wake us up and quite uncomfortable. The yellow couch and love seat are worn and torn in areas. The TVs in the bunk and queen bedrooms are very old and only pick up a few cable channels. It would have been great to have smart TVs in there for the kids. The dishwasher was broken during our stay and we had to hand wash the dishes. The jets in the jacuzzi tub were not working either. But these were small inconveniences in comparison to the property and the location/view.

Pristine Beach /Great Lodging

We enjoyed the condo/very clean and roomy + beautiful views. We appreciated the early notification of a broken dishwasher-so hand washing of dishes was frequent (yikes only 1 dishtowel)(Had requested a discount due to broken dishwasher- waiting to hear) No hairdryer in a condo with 2 pools and the beach was a problem -with so many wet heads. Minor fixes-but would stay again :)

Not worth the price!

I will start with the positives...great location for this condo. This was the 3rd time we have stayed at Beach Club, so we knew we would have that going for us no matter what. Beach Club staff, amenities, etc. were great. Only two beefs there: very odd hours for “family time” access to the indoor pool/spa (12-6pm only—we were asked to leave after 6pm when we were the only people in there 😡) and the trash chute was broken (little inconvenience to haul at least one trash bag downstairs to ground level every day— they should consider sending around a trash collection every morning/evening). The condo itself was nice enough with tile and granite throughout, very nice washer/dryer, smart thermostat, ice machine. Great views from the 12th floor balcony. That’s about where the positives end. The negatives....room was terribly dirty when we arrived. I understand tile/grout isn’t easy to clean, but our kids feet and knees (from crawling) were black from the dirt within 30 mins of arriving. We found trash (clothes tags, matches, paper) in the drawers of the dressers. We found half eaten goldfish crackers under one of the beds. 2 clothes hampers, in separate rooms, had used, wet, dirty towels in them along with even more trash (used toilet paper, smoked e-cigarettes, used bar of soap). So we’re off to a great start! Wifi was spotty, in and out all week. When it was working, it didnt have sufficient bandwidth to support two ipads. I had to do some work and call into a few webex calls—ended up having to use my phone as a personal hotspot b/c the wifi wouldn’t hold the calls. Cable service was also terrible (possibly due to spotty wifi, but i’m not sure). We tried to stream via Netflix/Amazon, but you can imagine how that went. It didnt work! We arrived on saturday, made Southern aware, and told them we didnt want them to send anybody. We just wanted to let them know. The proceeded to send two separate groups, which we kindly sent away. The living room furniture was trash, with broken zippers and not-in-service sofa bed. Master BR bed was super uncomfortable and loud if you moved at all (not good for our toddler sleeping in the room with us). These cleanliness and wifi issues were noted in the reviews, but I assumed Southern Vacation Rentals had fixed the problems. That’s what I get for assuming. This property is not even close to in line with other properties at beach club and is not worth the price. We will not stay in another property by SV Rentals

Nice enough for what we needed

We loved staying at Beach Club; the facility was nice and the kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, and loved the big patio overlooking the ocean. At arrival, the keyless entry had a dead battery and we could not get into the unit. We called Property Mgmt, and they got the problem resolved within the hour, so we ate dinner while we waited. The unit could use some serious updating/refreshing. The pull out sofa beds did not work, the jets in the whirlpool tub did not work, and the existing furnishings were worn. There is also visible water damage on the kitchen cabinets, and it’s starting to discolor. The master bedroom is in serious need of a new mattress and pillows. It got very windy the last couple of days during our stay, and on the last night, we could tell the sliding glass doors weren’t sealing properly, because there was a high-pitched noise coming from the doors; once they were opened, the noise stopped, but we couldn’t leave them open while sleeping because we have small children. The grill and oven take a long time to heat up (over an hour if you want to grill a steak vs. “baking” it outdoors.) As far as positives go, there was plenty of seating between the dining table and kitchen bar, plenty of cookware, and having TVs in all the bedrooms with DVD players was a plus, for us. All in all, if this was the only unit available, we wouldn’t cancel plans to come to the beach, but there are definitely better options out there.

Great condo, horrible furniture, unresponsive rental company (southern rentals)

Condo was super clean, view amazing, staff at location was great. But thrift store, old furniture in unit. Hurricane shutters stuck down in master bedroom, so no beach view to wake up to. Unresponsive management comapny (Souhtern Rentals) that took my money, but did not respond to my minor request of late checkout and fixing shutters. Not worth the amount of money I spent!!!!!

Great except for wi-fi

The Condo/property/location was great but unfortunately we would not be able to stay at that unit again. The problem was the WI-FI. One Family member needed to work that week and could not. WI-FI was extremely slow, thus made for a stressful week!! You had to use the Beachclub public WIFI, not the actual condo WIFI . It was so bad we did not even connect our phones since it was so slow to search for anything... ie. restaurants etc.

Nice rental but dishwasher would work and hand washed everything, one light in mbr didn’t work, dryer needed to be run twice, outlet on balcony didn’t work, and front door latch needs repair. Again it was a great place but for that kind of money those small details are important.

Great location, view and rental process

This was our first time staying in Pensacola Beach and we really enjoyed it. The Beach Club property is in a great location - within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Security was surprisingly good. It would be really hard to get on the property and even in the elevators without being a renter. The condo is gorgeous - very spacious and the view of the beach is fantastic. Very happy! Here are the things that could be improved: 1. The beds. We found none of the beds to be comfortable and on the hard side. The master bed has this weird ledge sticking out and we hit our shins on it all week. Doesn't say much about us, I know, but who has a wooden ledge circling the entire bed?! 2. The appliances need updating. The icemaker leaked (we cleaned up then turned it off), the coffee maker has seen better days and the toaster didn't work at all. 3. The beach club wifi wasn't so great. It would occasionally kick us off and/or lose Internet. Since there are no smart TVs I brought my chromecast and kept getting kicked off. First world problems, I know. The condo has it's own wifi but the owners evidently don't give the password out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again (although we might bring a bed topper!) There were just a few details that would take this rental from really good to great.

Family vacation

Our stay was very nice. A few minor issues with the property. We found not so clean pillow cases on the bed and in the closets. The extra covers in the closet could use a good cleaning. The bunk room gets hot at night especially if the door is closed even when you use the floor fan. The other room across the hall- queen bed got too cold. Unfortunately, you couldn't close the vents. The separate ice machine makes a lot of noise especially at night. The dryer in the unit takes 2 run cycles to get your clothes dry. There was no oven mit or potholder in the kitchen. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.
